House is becoming home. 〜家がおうちになってきた〜

Our kitchen renovation is getting close to the ending. We need to get the last painting, make a few changes and wait for the new faucet before everything is over.

私たちのキッチンリフォームが、終わりに近づいています。あとは、最後のペインティングをしてもらい、いくつかの変更事項をお願いして、新しい蛇口を待つだけです。

We tore down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. It feels so open and bigger now. Since we got a professional cleaning this morning, I now want to unpack the boxes and move in!

キッチンとダイニングルームの間にあった壁を取り壊しました。オープンで、広くなったような感じがします。今朝はプロのクリーニングチームがクリーニングしてくださったので、段ボールを開けてちゃんとお引越ししたい、と思うようになりました。

Mommy: "I'm going to unpack the boxes."

ママ：「段ボールを開けるわよ。」

Kahlua: "Are we moving in?"

カルア：「ちゃんとお引っ越しするんだね。」

Ehime: "Isn't it our treat time yet?"

えひめ：「まだおやつの時間じゃないでしゅか？」

Kona: "You should wait for one more hour."

コナ：「あと１時間待たなきゃ。」

Mommy: "Let's say this is the STAUB family area♪"

ママ：「ここは、ストウブファミリーのエリアとしよう♪」

Kona: "Mr. STAUB, please make tasty dinner roll for me again♪"

コナ：「ストウブさん、またぼくにおいしいディナーロールを作ってね♪」

Mommy: "Great! Some dry bonito flakes were in the box. We've got to go to LA to get some more when we finish this."

ママ：「よかった！段ボールから、かつおぶしが出てきた。これがなくなったら、ロサンゼルスまで買い出しに行かなきゃね。」

Ehime: "Is that my treat?"

えひめ：「しょれ、わたちのおやつ？」

Ehime gets hungry earlier time these days. It was 2:30pm and she looked like she couldn't wait for her treats any more. So I decided to give them a daily training.

えひめは最近、早い時間におなかがすきます。午後２時半でしたが、もうおやつを待てないようだったので、デイリートレーニングをすることにしました。

Kona: "Balance is important."

コナ：「バランスが重要なんだよね。」

Kahlua: "Oops."

カルア：「おっとっと。」

Ehime: "I have good balance."

えひめ：「わたち、バランスは得意でしゅよ。」

Kahlua: "Hurry, mommy."

カルア：「ママ、早く〜」

In the evening　夕方

Mommy: "Yeah, that's the great place. Please eat a lot of grass♪"

ママ：「ああ、そこ、いいわね〜　たくさん草を食べてね♪」

Chicken A: "Are you thinking we are the lawn-mowers?"

にわとりA：「私たちのこと、芝刈り機だと思ってる？」

Mommy: "Oh, there is a little bird. She probably wants to get some of the chicken food on the ground that I dropped."

ママ：「あっ、小鳥だ。きっと私が地面に落としたにわとりさんのごはんを狙っているのね。」

Mommy: "See?"

ママ：「ほら、やっぱり。」

Mommy: "Spring is almost here. I finally feel like the house is becoming more like home."

ママ：「もうすぐ春。ようやく家がだんだんおうちになってきたっていう気がするな〜」
