At the beach in California Part 1 〜カリフォルニアのビーチで パート１〜

Kona: "It smells like Hawaii."

コナ：「なんだかハワイみたいなにおいがする。」

Mommy: "Kona, sit down!"

ママ：「コナくん、座って！」

Daddy: "Here we are♪ There are so many Goldens down there."

パパ：「はい、到着♪　下にゴールデンがたくさんいるな〜」

We were invited to an event that one of Golden Retriever Meet-up members created. According the weather forecast, it said it's going to be very nice and warm this weekend. Why not go to the beach? (#^_^#)

私たちは、ゴールデンレトリバーミートアップのメンバーのひとりが企画したイベントに招待されました。天気予報によると、今週末は、とってもお天気が良くて暖かいということでした。ビーチに行かない理由があるでしょうか？(#^_^#)

Kona: "Yay! It's a beach♪"

コナ：「やった〜！ビーチだ〜♪」

Ehime: "Umm... Mommy? Why is the water moving?"

えひめ：「あの‥‥　ママ？なんでお水が動いてるでしゅか？」

Mommy: "It is called a wave."

ママ：「波っていうのよ。」

Abby's daddy: "Go, Abby!"

アビーちゃんのパパさん：「アビー、行けー！」

Ehime: "Oh, Abby. Long time no see. How have you been?"

えひめ：「あっ、アビーちゃん。お久しぶりでしゅね。元気でちたか？」

Ehime: "Ahhh! The water monster is attacking me!"

えひめ：「あああ！お水の魔物がわたちを襲ってくる！」

Ehime: "Run away!"

えひめ：「逃げなきゃ！」

Mommy: "No need to run away, Ehime."

ママ：「ひめたん、逃げなくても大丈夫よ。」

Kona: "Daddy, please throw a ball."

コナ：「パパ、ボールを投げて。」

Daddy: "OK. I will. Mmm? Who is the jumping Golden?"

パパ：「よし、投げよう。ん？このジャンプしてるゴールデンは誰かな？」

Daddy: "Go, Goldens!"

パパ：「ゴールデンズ、行けー！」

Ehime: "Huh, brother Kona went in the water."

えひめ：「はあ、コナにい、お水の中に行ってちまった。」

Ehime: "If he was here, he could get a free massage like this."

えひめ：「ここにいたら、コナにいもこうやってマッサージちてもらえたのに。」

Lady A: "Oh, you must be 'Beautiful Princess.' I can't pronounce your name, so I just call you with the meaning of your name."

Aご婦人：「あら、ビューティフルプリンセスじゃないの。あなたの名前は私には発音できないから、その意味であなたのことを呼ぶことにしたのよ。」

※ I explained in January that Ehime means 'lovely princess' in Japanese. She remembered as 'beautiful princess'.

※ １月に、えひめは日本語で”ラブリープリンセス”という意味なんですよ、とご説明したところ、”ビューティフルプリンセス”と覚えておられたようです。

Ehime: "Awww, you are dirty, brother Kona."

えひめ：「あうう、コナにい、ドロドロ。」

Kona: "Any problem?"

コナ：「なにか問題でも？」

Ehime: "The water monster came again."

えひめ：「お水の魔物がまたやって来た。」

Ehime: "Ahhh, don't come to me!"

えひめ：「あああ、来ないでくだしゃい！」

At the Golden Meet up in January, Ehime ran away from everybody, and I had to run to catch her many times. So I was keeping her on a leash today. Then someone told me "Why don't you take her leash off? If she goes far away, we all run to catch her with you." That gave me confidence and I decided to take her leash off. And she was OK. Maybe I was the one who was a little wimpy.

１月のゴールデンミートアップで、えひめはみんなから逃げ回り、私は何度もえひめを捕まえるために走りました。それで今日は、えひめをリードにつないだままにしていました。そんな時ある人が「オフリーシュにしてみたら？もし遠くに行ってしまったら、私たちみんなで一緒に走って、えひめちゃんを捕まえてあげるから。」その言葉で私に自信ができ、えひめをオフリーッシュにしてみました。えひめは大丈夫でした。多分、ちょっと臆病だったのは、私のほうだったのですね。

Daddy: "Oh, you are here, Ehime."

パパ：「おお、えひめ。よく来たね〜」

Ehime: "He he♪"

えひめ：「えへへ♪」

Daddy: "Then, let's practice going in the water."

パパ：「じゃあ、お水に入る練習をしてみようっか。」

Ehime: "D.. don't worry about me. I don't want to be eaten by the water monster."

えひめ；「お、お気遣いなく。お水の魔物の食べられたくないでしゅから。」
