Daddy: "Look, honey. There is one deer in the field."

パパ：「ママ、見て。野原にシカが一頭いるよ。」

Mommy: "I see it. So beautiful with the sunset."

ママ：「うん、見える。日の入りと一緒なのが、美しいわね。」

Mommy: "Jerseys! We are home!"

ママ：「ジャージーさんたち、ただいま〜！」

Daddy: "The only cow who is listening to you is Happy."

パパ：「聞いてるのは、ハッピーだけだな。」

Makana: "The light in the evening sunset made me a little orange color."

マカナ：「夕焼けの光で、ぼく、ちょっとオレンジ色になった。」

Mommy: "You look cute♪"

ママ：「マーくん、かわいい♪」

Mommy: "Ehime in the snow white also looks a little orange color."

ママ：「純白のひめたんも、ちょっとオレンジ色ね。」

Ehime: "Please call me an orange princess♪"

えひめ：「オレンジ姫って呼んでくだしゃい♪」

Daddy: "Almost home."

パパ：「もうすぐおうちだよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, I just took a good photo of you♪"

ママ：「あ、パパのいい写真が撮れちゃった♪」

No appetite for breakfast 〜朝ごはんへの食欲なし〜

 

Mommy: "Ma-kun. Are you doing OK? Why don't you eat breakfast very much these days?"

ママ：「マーくん、大丈夫？　最近、あんまり朝ごはんを食べないよね？」

Makana: "I don't have much appetite after a morning walk. I don't know why."

マカナ：「朝のお散歩から帰って来たら、食欲がないの。なんでかな。」 

Ehime: "I said I can be the candidate to clean up Ma-kun's bowl, but my offer was turned down."

えひめ：「せっかくマーくんのボールをきれいにちてあげるって立候補ちたのに、わたちの申し出は却下しゃれまちた。」

Mommy: "I don't think you need to eat more."

ママ：「ひめたんは、それ以上食べなくてもいいんじゃない？」

Bow-Wow Thursday these days 〜最近のバウワウ・サーズデー〜

Bow-Wow Thursday at the tasting room started when our beloved Kona from Hawaii passed away. 

テイスティングルームのバウワウ・サーズデーは、私たちの大好きなハワイ出身のコナが亡くなったときに始まりました。

Ehime missed Kona as much as we did at that time. She held the toy in her mouth that she used to play with Kona, and cried every night. We knew we had to do something for her.

えひめは当時、私たちと同じくらいコナを恋しく思っていました。コナとよく一緒に遊んでいたおもちゃを口にくわえ、毎晩泣いていました。えひめのために何かをしなくてはいけない、と思っていました。

The idea of Bow-Wow Thursday was accepted by many people. With or without dogs, people visit our tasting room every Thursday. 

バウワウ・サーズデーは、たくさんの方々に受け入れられました。犬と一緒でも一緒でなくても、毎週木曜日にテイスティングルームを訪れてくれるようになりました。

As time goes by, Makana joined our family and now Makana's girlfriend, Maisy comes to our tasting room with her family. Here they are.

時間は流れ、マカナが家族になり、今ではマカナのガールフレンド、メイジーちゃんが家族と一緒にテイスティングルームに来てくれるようになりました。この家族です。

Not just the local people, tourists with dogs just stop by and enjoy their time with dogs & wine now. Our Bow-Wow Thursday is growing. We just wish Kona got to see this. He would have wagged his tail like crazy.

地元の人たちだけではありません。今では犬連れのツーリストの方々も立ち止まってくださり、犬たち＆ワインの時間をエンジョイされます。私たちのバウワウ・サーズデーは、大きくなりつつあります。コナがこの様子を見られたらよかったのになあ、と思います。きっと、狂ったように尻尾を振っていたことでしょうね。

Ehime: "I'm not crying anymore, brother Kona."

えひめ：「コナにい、わたちもう、泣いてないでしゅよ。」

Makana: "Maisy doesn't look like she is interested in me much these days. Do you think she has somebody more special, brother Kona?"

マカナ：「メイジーちゃん、最近ぼくにあっまり興味がないみたいなんだ。誰か他に好きなひとがいるのかな、コナにいたん。」

It's a shower time. 〜シャワータイムです〜

Mommy: "The temperature won't go up to 108F like last week. It's sunny and warm, but it's comfortable."

ママ：「気温、先週みたいに摂氏43℃にはならないからね。お天気が良くて暑いけれど、気持ちいいもの。」

Makana: "Is that a reason you washed us today?"

マカナ：「だから今日、ぼくたちを洗ったの？」

Mommy: "For some reason, you now look more like a middle-age-guy than a puppy."

ママ：「なんでかしら。マーくん、パピーっていうよりオヤジって感じのルックスよ、今。」

Ehime: "My face is wet, too. Can you dry with the towel?"

えひめ：「お顔も濡れちゃいまちた。タオルで乾かちてくれましゅか？」

Mommy: "OK. I'm going to make you fluffy."

ママ：「わかった。ふわふわにするね。」

Please stay healthy. 〜健康でいてね〜

Mommy: "How's your tummy, Ma-kun?"

ママ：「マーくん、おなかの調子はどう？」

Makana: "Mmm, I think it's getting better."

マカナ：「うーん、良くなってきてると思うんだけど。」

Ehime: "Oh, that's right. Because Ma-kun had a stomachache, we didn't go for a walk in the morning, did we?"

えひめ：「ああ、しょうでちた。マーくんがおなか痛かったから、朝のお散歩に行かなかったんでしゅよね。」 

Ehime: "I guess he ate something he shouldn't eat."

えひめ：「食べちゃいけないものを食べたんじゃないでしゅか？」

Makana: "No, I didn't. I'm different from you."

マカナ：「食べてないよ。ねえたんじゃないんだから。」

Makana: "What about you? Why are you wearing a panty?"

マカナ：「ねえたんはどうなの？　なんでパンツを履いてるの？」

Ehime: "Well, because I've been licking the scar from a foxtail, the area started to bleed more than usual. So mommy put this panty on me."

えひめ：「えっと、フォックステールでできた傷を舐めてたら、その部分がいつも以上に出血し始めたんでしゅよ。だからママに、パンツを履かされまちた。」

Mommy: "Don't lick, Ehime."

ママ：「ひめたん、舐めないでよね。」

How creative and talented! 〜なんてクリエイティブで才能ある！〜

Mommy: "Wow, the instructor is amazing. She can paint by standing like this."

ママ：「わあ、インストラクターさん、すごいね。こうやって立っていながらペインティングできるんだもの。」

Daddy: "She is."

パパ：「そうだね。」

Daddy: "And people are so creative. Look how she paints the wind mill. How talented!"

パパ：「そしてみなさなん、とってもクリエイティブだなあ。見て、風車を描いている人。才能あるなあ。」

Ehime: "I'm talented, too. I can hold my treats on my head."

えひめ：「わたちだって才能ありましゅから。頭におやつを乗せられるでしゅよ。」

Makana: "That's a piece of cake. I can do that, too."

マカナ：「そんなの朝飯前だもん。ぼくだってできるよ。」

Mommy: "It looks like you guys need to learn more tricks. This is too easy for you."

ママ：「ふたりには、もっとたくさんトリックを学んでもらわなければいけないみたいね。これ、簡単すぎるもの。」
