After we discussed with our vineyard manager, we decided to replant vines this year. We are going to say good-bye to Syrah and welcome to Cabernet Franc.
A tractor went in the vineyard, a big shovel dug the ground and the vines came out with the root.
I knew this was going to happen, but I felt sad. Because we put our effort to grow these vines since we moved to our vineyard house in 2014.
As the time goes by, we all need to make some change. I guess the vines are the same. I know I'm still going to love Cabernet Franc vines as much as Syrah vines from now on.

Ehime: "I can't wait that long. I'm going to get hungry in a few hours."
