Mommy's night time cooking 〜ママの夜な夜なクッキング〜

Kona: "Zzzz...."

コナ：「Zzzz....」

Kahlua: "Zzzz...."

カルア：「Zzzz....」

Mommy: "It's 10:40pm. When everyone is asleep, it's the best time to work for me."

ママ：「午後10時40分。みんなが眠っている時が、働くには一番いい時間だわ。」

Ehime: "Are you going to cook at night again?"

えひめ：「また夜のお料理でしゅか？」

Mommy: "Oh, you are awake. Yes. I'm going to make fermented curry cauliflower."

ママ：「あ、ひめたんは起きてるのね。うん。発酵カレーカリフラワーを作ろうと思ってね。」

Mommy: "I bought one cauliflower for $1.50 at the local farmer's market the other day. It was a good price♪"

ママ：「こないだ地元のファーマーズマーケットで、カリフラワーひとつを1.50ドルで買ったのよね〜　お買い得だったわ♪」

Mommy: "I chopped the cauliflower. I guess they are a good size to eat."

ママ：「カリフラワー、切れた。食べるには、いいサイズだと思うけど。」

Mommy: "According to the recipe, this has a good amount of garlic."

ママ：「レシピによると、ガーリックが結構入るのね。」

Ehime: "That's smelly. I wish you would make more dry apples instead."

えひめ：「ガーリック、くしゃい。代わりに、もっと干しりんごを作ってくれればいいのに。」

Mommy: "Sorry. Now, I'm making seasoning. Turmeric is super popular in the USA now, because it prevents some type of cancer & Alzheimer, and works great to improve the kidney."

ママ：「ごめんね。今度は、シーズニングを作るわよ。ターメリックは、今アメリカではすごく人気があるのよね。いくつかのガンの予防や、アルツハイマーの予防、そして肝臓の働きを向上させてくれるからね。」

Mommy: "But, just looking at this color, it gives me a little sneezing..."

ママ：「でも、この色を見ているだけで、ちょっとくしゃみが出るわ‥‥」

Kona: "I woke up because I smelled something strong."

コナ：「なんかちょっときつい匂いがしたから、ぼく起きた。」

Mommy: "Why are you sticking the wall like that?"

ママ：「コナくん、どうして壁に張り付いているのかしら？」

Mommy: "Now, I'm putting the weight on the cauliflower, and pouring the seasoned brine."

ママ：「今度は、カリフラワーに重しを乗せて、シーズニングで味付けした塩水を注ぐわね。」

Kahlua: "I woke up because it smelled something strong."

カルア：「きつい匂いがしたので、ぼく、起きた。」

Mommy: "I wonder if it's turmeric. By the way, your hair looks like you just woke up, Kahlua."

ママ：「ターメリックかしら。ところで、カルアくんの毛、起きたてって感じだわね。」

Next day　次の日

Daddy: "When is it going to be ready to eat?"

パパ：「それ、いつになったら食べられるの？」

Mommy: "The recipe says in 3-5 days. I hope it's going to be tasty."

ママ：「３−５日後だって。おいしくなるといいね。」
