Our tradition! Cranberry sauce with Zinfandel 〜我が家の伝統！ジンファンデル入りのクランベリーソース〜

Kona: "I think dry cranberries are better than fresh cranberries."

コナ：「生のクランベリーより、ドライグランベリーの方がいいと思うな。」

Mommy: "I know you eat dry cranberries in your food every day. But today, I need fresh cranberries to make our traditional cranberry sauce with Zinfandel."

ママ：「毎日フードでドライクランベリーを食べてるもんね。でも今日はママ、我が家の伝統、ジンファンデル入りクランベリーソースを作るのに、生のクランベリーが必要なの。」

Kahlua: "I guess I'm taking a nap here until my turn comes."

カルア：「ぼくは出番がやって来るまで、ここでお昼寝してるよ。」

Mommy: "Kula's Zinfandel 2016 should be bottled next year. I hope I can use it to make the same recipe for Thanksgiving.

ママ：「来年には、クラのジンファンデルがボトリングされるはずだからね。サンクスギビングには、同じレシピでそのジンファンデルを使って作れるといいな。」

Mommy: "Sugar goes in."

ママ：「お砂糖、入ります。」

Kona: "What are they? They smell like pumpkin bread."

コナ：「なに、それ？パンプキンブレッドみたいなにおい。」

Mommy: "They are cloves. They lower the blood pressure and cholesterol, help to reduce the stress and make the beautiful skin, according to Google."

ママ：「クローブよ。グーグルによるとクローブは、血圧やコレステロール値を下げてくれたり、ストレスを解消してくれたり、お肌をきれいにする効果があるんだって。」

Kona: "My stress is not seeing my girlfriend, Chloe every day. Huh..."

コナ：「ぼくのストレスは、ガールフレンドのクロエに毎日会えないことだよ。はあ‥‥」

Mommy: "Zinfandel syrup is cooking well so far with clove, cinnamon sticks, all spice and orange skin."

ママ：「ジンファンデルシロップ、今のところは、クローブやシナモンスティック、オールスパイス、オレンジの皮と一緒に、いい感じにできているみたい。」

Ehime: "Fresh cranberries are bigger than dry cranberries."

えひめ：「生のクランベリーは、ドライクランベリーより大きいんでしゅね。」

Mommy: "Now, let's strain the syrup."

ママ：「さあ、シロップを漉そう。」

Kona: "Can you eat that much?"

コナ：「そんなに食べられる？」

Mommy: "We'll give some away."

ママ：「おすそ分けするから。」

Mommy: "They are bursting now. Let's simmer for a little while and cool down. Then, done."

ママ：「パチッと割れてきた。もう少しグツグツさせて、冷まそう。そしたらできあがり。」

Kahlua: "I woke up now."

カルア：「ぼく、今起きた。」

Mommy: "Let's have some cranberry sauce with fish sandwich lunch."

ママ：「フィッシュサンドイッチのランチに、クランベリーソースを添えよう。」

Daddy: "Honey, I want a second of cranberry sauce!"

パパ：「ママ、クランベリーソースのおかわり！」

Kona: "Fish didn't fall from the counter. Isn't it the snack time for us soon?"

コナ：「フィッシュ、カウンターから落ちてこなかったよ。そろそろおやつの時間じゃない？」

Mommy: "Is this the one you are looking for?"

ママ：「あなたたちが探しているものは、これですか？」

Ehime: "That's exactly right!"

えひめ：「まったくしょの通り！」

Kona: "Lamb biscuits are good, too."

コナ：「ラム肉のビスケットでもいいんだけど。」

Kahlua: "Any food is good. Hurry!"

カルア：「食べ物ならなんでもいい。早く！」

Mommy: "Since I made our traditional cranberry sauce with Zinfandel, I might as well take a photo of it."

ママ：「せっかく我が家の伝統、ジンファンデル入りのクランベリーソースを作ったら、写真を撮っておこうっと。」
