Mommy: "Why at the cornor?"

ママ：「なんで隅っこなの？」

Mommy: "You are not drinking the running water, Serene?"

ママ：「セリーンくん。今日は流水は飲まないの？」

Serene: I can, but I'm kind of enjoying the water from the water trough today."

セリーン：「飲めるよ。でも今日は、水桶からお水を飲むのをエンジョイしてるの。」

Mommy: "You actually enjoy getting petted by me, don't you?"

ママ：「セリーンくん、私からよしよししてもらうの、好きだよね？」

Serene: "I like to get attention♪"

セリーン：「かまってもらうの、好きだから♪」

Sachi: "Me, too! Can you pet me as well?"

さち：「わたちも！　わたちのことも、よちよちちてくれる？」

Makana: "Wait! Me, too!"

マカナ：「待って！　ぼくも！」

Mommy: "Of course. I can chuchu you, too❤︎"

ママ：「もちろん。チュッチュもできるわよ❤︎」

100F today 〜今日は摂氏38℃〜

Mommy: "Oh? Are you two sunbathing here today?"

ママ：「あれ？　ふたり、今日はここで日向ぼっこ？」

Makana: "That's what we thought, but..."

マカナ：「と思ったんだけど‥‥」

Makana: "It's hot!"

マカナ：「暑い！」

Sachi: "How hot is it going to be today?"

さち：「今日は、何度くらいになるんでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Let me see."

ママ：「見てみるね。」

Mommy: "It's 85F now and the highest temperature is going to be 100F today. Let's go back in the house, and drink the water. I'm very sweaty, too."

ママ：「今は摂氏30℃で、今日の最高気温は38℃になるんだって。さあ、おうちの中に入ってお水を飲みましょ。ママも汗びっしょり。」

Grooming at home 〜おうちでグルーミング〜

 

Mommy: "Sachi's grooming day. You have a lot of hair."

ママ：「さっちゃんのグルーミングデー。さっちゃんは、毛が多いからね。」

Sachi: "I was just digging a hole."

さち：「せっかく穴掘りちてたのに。」

Mommy: "We could make a cushion with your hair."

ママ：「さっちゃんの毛で、クッションが作れそうね。」

Mommy: "For some reason, you don't get scared of the shaver in your ears. That makes the grooming easy, and I'm happy about it. Thank you, Sachi."

ママ：「なぜかさっちゃんは、お耳にシェーバーがあっても怖がらないのよね。グルーミンが楽で、ママうれしいわ。ありがとね、さっちゃん。」

Sachi: "No problem. If I'm not forced, so I'm good with it."

さち：「どういたちまちて。強制しゃれなければ、大丈夫でしゅから。」

A gecko... I mean, a lizard. 〜ゲッコー‥‥ じゃなくて、トカゲ〜

Mommy: "Oh. A gecko... I mean, a lizard is on the screen. I still say a gecko for a lizard since we lived in Hawaii."

ママ：「あ。ゲッコーが‥‥ じゃなくて、トカゲが網戸にいる。ハワイに住んでいたから、いまだにトカゲのことをゲッコーって言っちゃうのよね〜」

10 minutes later　10分後

Mommy: "Oh? She is on this screen now. Is she the same one that I saw 10 minutes ago?"

ママ：「あれ？　今度は、この網戸に。10分前に見たのと同じのかな？」

Sachi: "Oh! Where is a gecko?"

さち：「おお！　ゲッコー、どこ〜？」

Makana: "Not a gecko. A lizard, Sachi."

マカナ：「さっちゃん、ゲッコーじゃなくて、トカゲだよ。」

Mommy: "...... I guess the lizards are running away from Ma-kun & Sachi."

ママ：「‥‥‥ きっとトカゲたちは、マーくんとさっちゃんから逃げ回ってるんだろうね。」

Splashing the water 〜お水をかける〜

Mommy: "You are drinking the running water, Serene."

ママ：「セリーンくん、流水を飲んでるの？」

Serene: "Yes. It's kind of exciting."

セリーン：「うん。なんかワクワクするから。」

Mommy: "Is it?"

ママ：「そう？」

Serene: "I can go up a little more. Maybe around this faucet."

セリーン：「もうちょっと上に行けるよ。この蛇口のあたりとか。」

Mommy: "Ahh! You are splashing the water on me!"

ママ：「ああ！　セリーンくん、私にお水をかけてるよ！」

Serene: "He he♪"

セリーン：「えへへ♪」

Makana: "Oh, that sounds exciting. How should I do to splash the water on mommy?"

マカナ：「おお、なんかワクワクする。どうやったらママにお水をかけられる？」

Mommy: "You don't need to learn such a thing, Ma-kun."

ママ：「マーくん、そういうことは、学ばなくていいの。」

Makana: "(smile)"

マカナ：「（ニコッ）」

Mommy: "The table grapes are getting ripe. These are not for business, but they are good for us to eat."

ママ：「テーブル用のぶどうが、熟してきてる。これらのぶどうはビジネス用じゃないけれど、自分たちで食べるのにいいのよね。」

Makana: "That sounds exciting."

マカナ：「なんかワクワクするね。」

Mommy: "Right?"

ママ：「でしょ？」

Sachi: "No really. Because we dogs cannot eat grapes."
