Shiritori game 〜しりとりゲーム〜

Mommy: "Finally! I received my new passport at Japanese consulate yesterday. It took a long time driving back home because of a major collision on the road, and we had to be in a traffic jam for a long time. But your daddy & I had a good time playing the Shiritori game (Japanese word-chain game) together in a car. I won twice♪"

ママ：「やっと！　昨日日本領事館で、新しいパスポートを受け取ったの。道中大きな衝突があって、長い間渋滞に巻き込まれたから、お家まで運転して帰るのに結構な時間がかかったけど、パパとママ、車の中でしりとりゲームして、楽しかったわ。2回も勝っちゃった♪」

Makana: "Daddy was saying you took an advantage of the Shiritori game, because you more Japanese words."

マカナ：「パパ、言ってたよ。ママが、しりとりゲームを有利に持っていったって。ママの方が、日本の言葉をよく知ってるから。」

Mommy: "That might be true. But his idea was playing the Shiritori game in French, which is the language we both don't know well. I think this game should be played in the language at least one of us know, don't you think?"

ママ：「そうかもね。でもパパのアイディアは、しりとりゲームをフランス語でしようってことだったのよ。二人とも、あんまり知らないのに。少なくても、私たちのうち一人はその言語を知ってるべきだと思わない？」

Makana: "......"

マカナ：「‥‥」
