Getting along together somehow 〜なんとなくうまくやっている〜

Mommy: "Oh, my gosh! One of the new hens laid an egg! And it's a huge one!"

ママ：「わあ、すごい！　新しいにわとりの一羽が卵を産んだ！　それも巨大な卵！」

I've never thought this day would come so quickly. But the new hens showed their interest in the big coop, so my husband and I decided to put them in the big coop with other hens. The nicest one, Sea actually welcomed the new ones, so they seemed fine.

この日がこんなに早くやってくるとは全く思っていなかったです。でも、新しいにわとりたちが大きい方のにわとり小屋に興味を示したので、主人と私は、他のにわとりたちと一緒に、新しいにわとりたちを大きいにわとり小屋に入れてみることにしました。なんと、一番やさしいシーちゃんが歓迎してくれて、うまくやっているようでした。

Just in case, I asked my husband to watch chickens while I was washing the car. He saw two conflicts, and he had to say no. They might have a little argument some time at the beginning, but it looks like they all are doing fine together at this point.

念のため、私が洗車している間、主人ににわとりたちを見ていてもらいました。二度ほどハッとする瞬間を見て、ダメと言わなければいけなかったようです。最初のうちは、ときどき少しいざこざがあるかもしれませんが、今の段階では、みんなうまくやっているようです。

Ehime: "I was washed, too, since the car was washed."

えひめ：「洗車のついでに、わたちも洗われた。」

Makana: "Me, too. But I guess we get dry quickly today, because the weather is very good."

マカナ：「ぼくも。でも今日は早く乾くかもね。お天気、とってもいいから。」
