Hana is pregnant! 〜ハナ、妊娠しました！〜

This is about yesterday, before Ehime went to the vet.

このお話しは昨日のこと、えひめがお医者さまに行く前のことです。

Mommy: "Ehime, can you wait in the car for a little while? We need to go see Hana."

ママ：「ひめたん、ここでちょっと待ててくれる？　ハナちゃんに会いに行ってくるから。」

Ehime: "OK."

えひめ：「いいでしゅよ。」

Daddy: "Hana. The vet is getting ready to check you today. Remember you were bred with Invincible 17 days ago? We are going to see if you are pregnant or not."

パパ：「ハナ。今日は、お医者さまがハナの診察をしてくれるんだよ。17日前に、インビンシブルと交配したことを覚えてるだろう？　ハナが妊娠しているかどうか、わかるんだよ。」

Hana: "Aww, I'm getting nervous..."

ハナ：「あうう、緊張してきた‥‥」

The vet: "I'm going to give you a shot. This makes you feel a little sleepy. If you are too active, you might kick me while I'm giving you an ultrasound."

お医者さま：「注射をするよ。これで、ちょっと眠くなるからね。あんまり元気すぎると、ハナちゃん、ぼくが超音波をしているあいだに、ぼくを蹴るかもしれないから。」

Hana: "You are so smart."

ハナ：「頭がいいわね、あなた。」

Daddy: "Don't sleep yet, Hana. Just move forward a little bit."

パパ：「まだ寝るんじゃないぞ、ハナ。もうちょっと前に進んで。」

The vet: "I'm going to close the door."

お医者さま：「ドアを閉めます。」

The vet: "Excuse me. (push)"

お医者さま：「では、失礼して。（ズボッ）」

Hana: "Kya!"

ハナ：「きゃっ！」

Daddy: "I'm going to hold the tail up."

パパ：「尻尾を持ち上げます。」

The vet: "Let's see... Oh! There is one! No twins, which is great."

お医者さま：「どれどれ‥‥　あっ！　ひとり、いるよ。双子じゃないな。よかった〜」

Mommy: "Wow, this is wonderful! Hana, you are pregnant!"

ママ：「わあ、素晴らしい！　ハナちゃん、妊娠してるよ！」

Hana's breeder: "Let me see. Oh, this is the nice round shape. Calculating from the breeding day, her baby is going to be born on April 13th next year."

ハナのブリーダーさん：「どれどれ、おお、これは丸々していていい形だ。交配した日から計算して、赤ちゃんは、来年の4月13日に生まれる予定だな。」

The vet: "There is always a chance to miscarriage. We just need to watch her."

お医者さま：「流産の可能性はありますから、気をつけて見てあげましょうね。」

After finding out Hana is pregnant, we rushed to the vet for Ehime. As you probably know from the blog yesterday, her foot with a foxtail was treated and she got some medications & special food to eat.

ハナの妊娠がわかったあと、えひめを急いで動物病院に連れて行きました。多分昨日のブログでもうご存知だと思いますが、フォックステールで傷ついた足の治療を受け、えひめ用にお薬と特別なフードを頂きました。

At home　おうち

Makana: "Is she OK?"

マカナ：「ねえたん、大丈夫？」

Mommy: "Yes, she is. She is very tired from the shot that the vet gave her today. We should let her sleep for now."

ママ：「大丈夫よ。今日お医者さまが打ってくれた注射が効いて、とっても疲れているのよ。今は寝かせてあげましょ。」
