Mobile groomer has come. Part 1 〜モバイルグルーマーさんがやって来た パート１〜

Since we couldn't go to Las Vegas last holiday season, our dogs couldn't get groomed for a long time. So, we called the mobile groomer and asked her to come to our house.

昨年のホリデーシーズンにラスベガスへ行けなかったので、我が家の犬たちは、長い間グルーミングをしてもらうことができませんでした。それで、モバイルグルーマーに電話をして、我が家に来てもらうようお願いしました。

I don't know if this is normal in the country, but it took one month for us to get the groomer to our house actually. First time is always a little exciting and nervous for both humans & dogs. When I took Ehime to the van, she refused to get in. With the help from the groomer, she finally settled.

田舎ではこれが普通なのかどうかわかりませんが、実際にグルーマーさんに家に来てもらうまで、一ヶ月かかりました。初めてというのはいつも、人間にとっても犬にとってもちょっとワクワクするし、緊張することでもあります。えひめをバンに連れて行ったとき、バンに入るのを拒否しました。グルーマーさんの助けを借りて、ようやく落ち着きました。

Mrs. Groomer: "Please fill in the cards for each dog. So I'm going to keep their record in my file."

グルーマーさん：「それぞれの犬について、カードを記入してください。私のファイルに記録を残していきますから。」

Mommy: "OK. I'll do it while Ehime is getting groomed."

ママ：「はい。えひめがグルーミングしてもらっている間に記入します。」 

Makana: "Oh, no. This is bad. My sister is kidnapped. Her doggie parents came from the Netherlands, I heard. That lady must be demanding a big ransom from us."

マカナ：「なんてことだ。これはまずい。ねえたんが誘拐された。ねえたんの犬の両親は、オランダから来たって行ってたしな。あの女の人、きっとぼくたちに多額の身代金を要求するつもりなんだ。」

Makana: "Gosh. It's too dark. I can't see if my sister is still safe. I don't think we can pay a big ransom now. What should we do... Oh! I got a good idea."

マカナ：「どうしよう、暗すぎる。ねえたんがまだ無事か見えない。今うちが多額の身代金を払えるとは思えないし、どうすればいいんだ‥‥　あっ！いい考えがある。」

Makana: "Mommy? Can you pay her with the wine? We may not have a lot of money, but we have a lot of wine. She lives in the wine-country. She must like wine."

マカナ：「ママ、あの人に、ワインで支払ってくれない？　ぼくたち、あんまりお金はないかもしれないけど、ワインならたくさんあるからね。あの人だって、ワインカントリーに住んでるんだから、きっとワインが好きだよ。」

Mommy: "We already withdrew cash at ATM for today's payment."

ママ：「今日のお支払い用に、もうATMで現金を出して来たから。」

Makana: "What!? Can we pay? Are we rich?"

マカナ：「えっ！？　お支払い、できるの？　ぼくたちって、お金持ちなの？」

Ehime: "I'm back. I'm so clean♪"

えひめ：「たっだいま〜　わたち、とってもきれいになりまちたよ〜♪」

Mommy: "Oh! It has been a long time since you ran happily like that. Did you have a good time?"

ママ：「あら！　ひめたんがそんなふうに楽しそうに走るの、久しぶりに見たわ。楽しかった？」
