Here are our dogs who spent a busy day with us. 〜私たちと一緒に忙しい日 を過ごした我が家の犬たち〜

Yesterday　昨日

Mommy: "I finished glazing. Apple & cranberry rolls are done♪"

ママ：「グレージング（粉砂糖で作ったアイシング）、終わり。アップル＆クランベリーロール、完成♪」

Kona: "Is it our dinner time now?"

コナ：「今度は、ぼくたちの晩ごはんの時間？」

Ehime: "I'm hungry."

えひめ：「おなかしゅいた。」

Today　今日

Ehime: "Mmm? What's this white?"

えひめ：「ん？この白いの、なんでしゅか？」

Mommy: "That's frost. Because it is very cold, the frost has covered the leaves."

ママ：「それは霜。とっても寒いから、霜が葉っぱを覆ってるのよ。」

Daddy: "Let's walk. I feel cold."

パパ：「さあ、歩こう。さむっ。」

Ehime: "Oh, daddy! Don't leave me!"

えひめ：「ああ、パパ！置いてかないで！」

Horse: "Good morning, everyone. How are you?"

馬：「おはよう、みんな。元気？」

My husband said that he was going to have a telephone conference at 10:00am. And pest control guys came to spray around the house right before 10:00am. I didn't want our dogs to bark at pest control guys while my husband was in the conference. So I put them in the car and went to feed the cows.

主人は、午前10時に電話会議があると言いました。そして午前10時ちょっと前に、害虫駆除の方たちが、家のまわりにスプレーをしに来てくれました。主人の会議中に、犬たちが害虫駆除の方々に吠えるといけないので、私は犬たちを車に乗せ、牛たちにごはんをあげに行きました。

Ehime: "This smell is..."

えひめ：「このにおいは‥‥」

Kona: "Happy's smell!"

コナ：「ハッピーちゃんのにおいだ！」

I didn't want to scare cows. So I left dogs in the car and brought the hay and alfalfa cubes to cows.

牛たちを怖がらせたくありませんでした。それで、犬たちを車に乗せたまま、私は牛たちに干し草とアルファルファキューブを持って行きました。

Joy: "Can I eat your hay, Cheer?"

ジョイ：「チアちゃんの干し草、食べてもいい？」

Cheer: "Of course. You are I are now family."

チア：「もちろんよ。私たち、もう家族なんだもの。」

Mommy: "You two look like a mother and a son."

ママ：「ふたり、お母さんと息子に見えるわ〜」

Happy: "My son is a likeable cow♪"

ハッピー：「私の息子って、みんなに好かれるのよね〜♪」

At 10:30am, the telephone conference was still going on. I drove back home and parked the car on the driveway. And I went to clean the chicken coop and took chickens out for a walk. Dogs? Still in the car.

午前10時半、電話会議はまだ続いていました。私は家に戻り、車をドライブウェイに停めました。そしてにわとり小屋のお掃除に行き、にわとりたちをお散歩に連れ出しました。犬たち？まだ車の中です。

Chicken A: "Huh, the sunlight feels great♪"

にわとりA：「はあ、太陽の光って気持ちいいわね〜♪」

Chicken B: "I hear the dogs are in the car."

にわとりB：「車の中に、犬がいるんですって。」

Chicken C: "They can't come out. We are safe."

にわとりC：「外には出てこれないから、私たち、安全よ。」

Dogs went back in the house and had a chance to walk around in the backyard for a little while. But at 11:45am, my husband and I had to put them back in the car and took them here and there to do some errands. UPS, lunch, HomeDepot, drugstore... Dogs spent a long time in the car today.

犬たちは家の中に戻り、裏庭で少しのあいだ歩き回ったりしました。でも午前11時45分、主人と私はまた犬たちを車に乗せて、用事を済ませるために、みんなをあちらこちら連れまわしました。UPS（荷物を配達してくれる会社）、ランチ、ホームディーポ（ホームセンターのようなところ）、ドラッグストア‥‥　犬たちは今日、長い時間を車の中で過ごしました。

Ehime: "I'm tired..."

えひめ：「わたち、疲れた‥‥」

Kona: "Me, too..."

コナ：「ぼくも‥‥」
