29F this morning 〜今朝は氷点下1.7度〜

 

Mommy: "Oh, no. The water for Jerseys is frozen. It was 29F early morning. Let's break the ice and put some fresh water in the trough."

ママ：「あら、やだ。ジャージー牛さんたちのお水が凍ってる。早朝の温度は、氷点下1.7度だったものね。よし、この氷を壊して、水桶に新鮮なお水を入れよう。」

Mommy: "The handle on the chicken water bucket was broken. Let's repair it now. Brrr... Staying outside for a long time in this chilly weather is a little hard. Let's go back in the house now."

ママ：「にわとりさん用お水のバケツの取手が壊れてたのよね。よし、修理しよう。ブルルル‥‥　寒い中、長時間お外にいるのは大変だわね。お家に帰ろうっと。」

Makana: "You should put us in the house first if you do a lot of farm work. I'm now going to feel the sunlight and take a nap here."

マカナ：「たくさんファームワークするなら、まずぼくたちをお家に入れてよね。今度はぼく、ここで太陽の光を感じてお昼寝するよ。」

Mommy: "That sounds good. I'm going to sit down on the couch with the blanket now."

ママ：「それは、いいわね。ママは、毛布にくるまってソファに座るわ。」
