Kahlua is a pig??? 〜カルアくんが豚？？？〜

Kahlua: "What? What happened to my meat?"

カルア：「えっ？ぼくのお肉がどうしたって？」

Mommy: "Not your meat."

ママ：「カルアくんのお肉じゃないよ。」

Mommy: "I said 'Kalua Pork'. You can call it 'Kalua Pig', too."

ママ：「カルアポークって言ったの。カルアピッグとも言うけど。」

Kahlua: "Oh, the Hawaiian dish."

カルア：「ああ、ハワイの料理ね。」

Kona: "Mommy called Kahlua 'a pig'."

コナ：「ママがカルアくんのこと、ピッグ（豚）って言った〜」

Mommy: "I didn't call him a pig!"

ママ：「豚なんて言ってない！」

Mommy: "Well, let's start. I'm making Kalua pork for dinner tonight."

ママ：「さあ、始めようっと。今夜の晩ごはんに、カルアポークを作りま〜す。」

Mommy: "Only ingredients I need are pork butt, Hawaiian sea salt, liquid smoke & the water."

ママ：「必要な材料は、ポークバット（肩の部分）、ハワイアンシーソルト、それからリキッドスモークとお水。」

Mommy: "Hmm... The recipe says that the fat side should be up, but the small fat part is on the side on this meat. Oh, well. I think this is OK."

ママ：「う〜ん‥‥　レシピでは、脂肪の部分を上にって書いてあるけれど、ちょっとだけある脂肪は、このお肉では横についているのよね〜　まあ、これで大丈夫だわね。」

Ehime: "(Woke up！) Did you say the meat? Is it dinner time already?"

えひめ：「（バサッ！）いまお肉って言った？もう晩ごはんの時間でしゅか？」

Mommy: "I didn't say anything. Please go back to your sleep."

ママ：「なにも言ってない。どうぞ眠ってて。」

Mommy: 'Let's mix liquid smoke in the water."

ママ：「お水にリキッドスモークを混ぜて、と。」

Mommy: "And pour the liquid smoke water in the pan."

ママ：「リキッドスモークのお水をお鍋に入れて。」

Mommy: "And coat the meat with the sea salt. That's it."

ママ：「そして、シーソルトでお肉をコーティングして。はい、終わり。」

Mommy: "We just need to wait for three hours until the meat gets cooked in the oven. How easy♪"

ママ：「オーブンでお肉が調理されるまで３時間待つだけ。なんて簡単♪」

Kona: "I think you should make another Hawaiian dish soon, such as Lomi-lomi salmon."

コナ：「別のハワイアン料理も作ればいいのになあ。ロミロミサーモンとか。」

Mommy: "I will someday."

ママ：「いつかね。」

Ehime: "Mommy, look. We are the three-connected-trailer♪"

えひめ：「ママ、見て。三連結車でしゅよ♪」

Mommy: "How do you move?"

ママ：「どうやって動くの？」

Kahlua: "Don't move!"

カルア：「動かないで！」

Three hours later　３時間後

Daddy: "Huh, I'm hungry. Let's cut the meat♪"

パパ：「はあ、おなかすいた。さあ、お肉を切ろう♪」

Kona: "It looks like the meat is coming off from the bone."

コナ：「骨からお肉がポロッと落ちてくるみたい。」

Mommy: "We need the cabbage dish to go with Kalua Pork, right? I hope you like the veggies, darling."

ママ：「カルアポークには、キャベツのお料理がつきものでしょう？このお野菜のお料理、パパ、気に入ってくれるといいけど。」

Daddy: "I'm sure I will."

パパ：「きっと好きだと思うよ。」
