It's the salmon that our friend caught in the ocean of Alaska. 〜お友達がアラスカの海で釣ってきたサーモン〜

Kona: "So, the recipe you want to use tonight is in this magazine?"

コナ：「それで、ママが今夜使いたいレシピは、この雑誌の中にあるの？」

Mommy: "Yes. The magazine is called Food & Wine."

ママ：「うん。フード＆ワインって言う雑誌なの。」

Kona: "Let's see... Oh! Snapper with pickled grapes."

コナ：「どれどれ‥‥　あっ！フエダイとぶどうのピクルスだって。」

Mommy: "Not that one."

ママ：「それじゃないよ。」

Mommy: "It's the one on the right page. Salmon Tartare on Garlic Bread."

ママ：「右側のページのレシピ。ガーリックブレッドに乗せたサーモンターター。」

Kona: "What! Salmon!?"

コナ：「えっ！サーモン！？」

Mommy: "I harvested some sweet mint and Italian parsley at our garden. Let's chop them up."

ママ：「野菜畑でスウィートミントとイタリアンパセリを収穫してきたからね。これを細かく刻もう。」

Kona: "Ha! Salmon!"

コナ：「はっ！サーモン！」

Mommy: "That's right. Happy's foster daddy went to Alaska recently and he came back with the salmon that he caught in the ocean. He gave some to us, so I want to use one of them to make Salmon Tartare tonight."

ママ：「そうよ。ハッピーちゃんの里親パパさんがね、最近アラスカに行ったんだけど、ご自身が海で釣ってきたサーモンを持って帰って来られたの。おすそ分けを頂いたから、そのひとつを使って、今夜はサーモンターターを作りたいと思ってね。」

Kona: "The salmon that was swimming in the ocean until recently... How fresh!"

コナ：「最近まで海で泳いでいたサーモン‥‥　なんて新鮮！」

Kahlua: "And what are you doing, daddy?"

カルア：「それで、パパはなにしてるの？」

Daddy: "I'm building the new desk while I'm waiting for dinner."

パパ：「晩ごはんを待っている間に、新しい机を組み立てているんだよ。」

Daddy: "Done♪"

パパ：「できた♪」

Kahlua: "Mmm, I smell the new wood♪"

カルア：「新しい木の香りがする♪」

Mommy: "Now I'm making the garlicky olive oil to put on the baguette."

ママ：「今度は、バゲットに塗るガーリックオリーブオイルを作ろう。」

Ehime: "Oh! That's Rosemary baguette that I can eat, too!"

えひめ：「あっ！しょれ、わたちも食べられるローズマリーバゲット！」

Mommy: "Oh, sorry... I just put the garlicky olive oil. I've got to put them in the oven."

ママ：「ああ、ごめん‥‥　ガーリックオリーブオイルを塗っちゃった。さあ、オーブンに入れなくっちゃ。」

Mommy: "This salmon looks so fresh. Let's put some chopped mint & parsley, mix the olive oil in and season."

ママ：「このサーモン、本当に新鮮だわ。今度はミントとパセリを入れて、オリーブオイルと混ぜて、味付けをしよう。」

Daddy: "Honey, I'm hungry."

パパ：「ママ〜、おなかすいた〜。」

Mommy: "Dinner is almost ready. I just need to get the vegetable dishes out from the fridge."

ママ：「晩ごはん、もうすぐよ。あとは、お野菜のお料理を冷蔵庫から出すだけだから。」

Kona: "OK. Then, I'm going to wait here."

コナ：「わかった。じゃあ、ぼくはここで待ってるね。」

Mommy: "What?"

ママ：「えっ？」
