Work! 〜ワーク！〜

Daddy: "Pineapple Express is gone, but the next storm is coming. Let's take trash out to the paved street now."

パパ：「パイナップルエクスプレスは通り過ぎたけど、次の嵐がやって来るからね。今のうちにゴミを舗装道路まで出しに行こう。」

Mommy: "OK, dogs. Work!"

ママ：「はい、みんな。ワーク！」

These days, I'm teaching the word "work" to the doggies. When I said this word, they need to walk forward without making a dash at the grass. In this way, I can nicely walk with three dogs during the strong wind or rain. 

最近犬たちに、「ワーク」という言葉を教えています。この言葉を言うと、犬たちは草地に突進することなく、まっすぐ前に歩かなければいけません。これで強風や雨の中でも、三匹の犬たちと一緒にちゃんと歩くことができます。

Kona: "Ehime, it's 'work'."

コナ：「ひめたん、”ワーク”だよ。」

Ehime: "OK♪"

えひめ：「あい♪」

Daddy: "Here we are. Let me drop off the trash cans here, then I'm going to walk with Goldens."

パパ：「はい、到着。ここにゴミ缶を置いたら、ぼくがゴールデンズと一緒に歩くから。」

Mommy: "OK."

ママ：「わかった。」

Kona: "No more 'work', Ehime!"

コナ：「ひめたん、”ワーク”じゃなくなったよ！」

Ehime: "Grazing, grazing♪"

えひめ：「放牧、放牧♪」

Daddy: "Ahhh, you guys are too free!"

パパ：「あああ、それは自由すぎるでしょ！」

Ehime: "We are ’released’, right?"

えひめ：「だって、”リリース”でしょ？」

Chickens: "#^&%#% (Grazing, grazing♪)"

にわとり：「#^&%#%（放牧、放牧♪）」

Mommy: "You two look like Kona & Ehime after 'work'."

ママ：「おふたりさん、”ワーク”のあとの、コナくんとひめたんみたいね。」

While our doggies were doing their best on 'work' today, we met one of our neighbors who was running the nursery business for over 40 years. He closed it unfortunately, but he told us that we can come to his nursery to pick up any plants we like for free. So we visited the nursery before we went to the town to make some errands.

今日犬たちが”ワーク”をガンバっているとき、私たちは40年以上苗木屋さんのビジネスを経営してきたご近所の方に会いました。残念ながら、その苗木屋さんは閉店してしまいましたが、私たちがほしい植木があれば、なんでも無料で持って行っていいよ、と言って下さいました。それで用事で町へ行く前に、苗木屋さんに立ち寄ってみました。

Mommy: "I think this place was very beautiful when it was a nursery."

ママ：「ここが苗木屋さんだったころは、とってもきれいだったと思うわ。」

Daddy: "Honey, look. Those lilac plants have buds. They are going to bloom early summer."

パパ：「ママ、見て。このライラックの木、つぼみを持ってるよ。初夏には花が咲くな〜」

Mommy: "I think they will be beautiful around our driveway."

ママ：「私たちのドライブウェイのところに植えたら、きっときれいだろうね。」
