Mommy: "The sky had an amazing color two days ago. And the temperature went down almost to the freezing point last night. The winter is really coming soon."

ママ：「二日前、お空に素晴らしい色が出てたわね。そして、昨夜はほぼ氷点まで気温が下がって。本格的に、冬がやって来るのね。」

Makana: "I'm not a superfan of the winter. I like to sleep in the sunlight."

マカナ：「ぼく、あんまり冬が好きじゃないんだよね。太陽の光のところで寝るのが好きなのに。」

Mommy: "You'll still get the sunlight in winter. Let's find something fun."

ママ：「冬でも太陽の光は得られるわよ。何かおもしろいことを探しましょ。」

Mommy: "Ta da! Do you remember this Golden Retriever?"

ママ：「ジャジャーン！　このゴールデンレトリバー、覚えてる？」

Sachi: "Ahhh! He came back because you don't work hard for our blog!"

さち：「あああ！　にいにいがブログ用に一生懸命働かないから、この子、戻ってきちゃったじゃないでしゅか！」

Makana: "It's not my fault!"

マカナ：「ぼくのせいじゃないっ！」

Sachi: "It's your fault! You should have danced, so that mommy is going to write about it on the blog."

さち：「にいにいのせいでしゅよ！　ダンスでもしゅればよかったのに。そちたらママが、ブログでしょのこと書いたのに。」

Makana: "You, too! You could have sung, so that mommy could write about it!"

マカナ：「さっちゃんだって！　歌でも歌えば、ママがそのこと書いたのに！」

Wine and wine label 〜ワインとワインラベル〜

 

Mommy: "Instead of the regular star, we put the Golden Retriever ornament on top of Christmas tree this year."

ママ：「いつものお星様の代わりに、今年はクリスマスツリーの一番上に、ゴールデンレトリバーのオーナメントを付けたのよね。」

Daddy: "The cork ornaments that are gifted from club members are cute, too."

パパ：「クラブメンバーさんから贈られたコルクのオーナメントもかわいいね。」

Mommy: "Yes! And the wine label ornaments are receiving great compliments, too."

ママ：「うん！　ワインラベルのオーナメントも、いいねって言って下さる方もいらっしゃって。」

Sachi: "I haven't been on the wine label yet."

さち：「わたち、まだワインラベルになってない。」

Mommy: "You are right. We should make the special wine someday to create the label for you and Ma-kun."

ママ：「だよね。さっちゃんとマーくんのラベルを作るために、いつか特別なワインを作らなきゃね。」

Sachi: "There are many English Cream Golden Retrievers on TV."

さち：「テレビに、イングリッシュクリーム・ゴールデンレトリバーがいっぱいいる。」

Mommy: "What? Oh, I see. They are sheep, not Golden Retrievers. People on the TV show called Amazing Race are separating sheep into the different sections."

ママ：「え？　ああ、なるほど。ゴールデンレトリバーじゃなくて、羊。アメイジングレースっていうテレビ番組の人たちが、羊を別々のセクションに引き離しているのよ。」

Sachi: "Separating... I hope they don't come to our house. I don't want to be separated into the guest room."

さち：「引き離しゅ‥‥ あの人たち、うちに来なければいいんでしゅけど。わたち、ゲストルームに引き離しゃれるの、イヤでしゅから。」

Mommy: "They won't separate dogs. But if people on Amazing Race will come to our house, I wonder what's the challenging thing they are going to do here."

ママ：「犬を引き離したりしないわよ。でももしアメイジングレースの人たちが我が家に来たら、ここで何のチャレンジをするのかしらねえ。」

Thanksgiving dinner 〜サンクスギビングディナー〜

Mommy: "When I cook cranberries, I feel that Thanksgiving Day is really here."

ママ：「クランベリーを調理すると、本当にサンクスギビングデーなんだなあ、って感じるわ。」

Daddy: "Since it's a Thanksgiving Day, let's share a little piece with Makana & Sachi."

パパ：「サンクスギビングデーだから、マカナとさちにちょっとだけあげよう。」

Makana: "Thank you♪"

マカナ：「ありがと♪」

Sachi: "It doesn't have to be a little piece..."

さち：「ちょっとだけ、じゃなくてもいいんでしゅけど‥‥」

Mommy: "We couldn't go to Las Vegas, but I'm so thankful for being able to have a nice dinner with you, darling."

ママ：「ラスベガスには行けなかったけれど、パパとステキなディナーを頂けることに感謝だわ。」

Daddy: "Me, too. I'm thankful for the things I have now."

パパ：「ぼくも。自分に今あるものに感謝するよ。」

Mommy: "Two characters of my AI story, Kuku & Lala are going on a vacation in the next story. Their destination is Las Vegas."

ママ：「私のAIストーリーのキャラクターふたり、ククとララ、次のストーリーでは、休暇に行くの。行き先は、ラスベガスよ。」

Makana: "Speaking of which, we haven't been to Las Vegas for a long time."

マカナ：「そう言えば、しばらくラスベガスに行ってないなあ。」

Sachi: "I don't think we need to go any places where we need to get in the car."

さち：「車に乗らなきゃいけない場所には、行かなくていいと思いましゅけど。」

Mommy: "Well... That's kind of difficult for the ones who are living in the country, don't you think?"

ママ：「それは‥‥ 田舎暮らしの者には、ちょっと難しいと思わない？」

Sunflowers in winter? 〜冬のひまわり？〜

Mommy: "Mmm? Are these sunflowers? Why are they growing now?"

ママ：「んん？　これ、ひまわり？　なんで今育ってるの？」

Sachi: "The weeds have started to grow in the backyard. Are you sure they are sunflowers?"

さち：「裏庭に、雑草が育ってきてましゅよ。しょれ、本当にひまわりでしゅか？」

Makana: "Probably they are really sunflowers. The seeds must have dropped on the ground when the flowers were still there. After the rain and the sunlight, they probably started to grow there."

マカナ：「多分、本当にひまわりだよ。まだお花があったとき、きっと種が地面に落ちたんだね。雨が降って太陽が出て、多分そこで育ち始めたんだよ。」

Sachi: "Are they going to bloom here again?"

さち：「またここでお花が咲くでしゅか？」

Mommy: "They are unfortunately not going to make it through the winter. But we kept some seeds from the last sunflowers. We can let them grow next spring again."

ママ：「残念だけど、このひまわりは、冬を越せないわね。でも前回のひまわりから種を取ったから。また来年の春、育てられるわよ。」

Golden Ale this time 〜今回はゴールデンエール〜

Mommy: "Another beer brewing day at the restaurant space!"

ママ：「レストランのスペースで、またビール醸造デー！」

Daddy: "This is Golden Ale, which is one of fan favorites so far."

パパ：「これは、ゴールデンエール。これまで作った中で、ファンが大好きなビールの一つだよ。」

Daddy: "I'm glad we have a beer consultant. I like to make beer with him."

パパ：「ビールコンサルタントがいてくれてよかったよ。あの人とビールを造るの、好きなんだあ。」

Mommy: "He is a great man."

ママ：「素晴らしい人よね。」

Sachi: "I could help if daddy & mommy allow me to come over to the restaurant."

さち：「パパとママがレストランに来てもいいよって行ってくれたら、わたちだって手伝えるのに。」

Makana: "Sachi. Did you know you have to be in the car to go to the restaurant?"

マカナ：「さっちゃん。レストランに行くには、車に乗らなきゃ行けないってわかってる？」

A foggy and misty morning 〜霧と霧雨の朝〜

Mommy: "The grapes that were left on vines are now raisins. I wonder if the birds eat those."

ママ：「木に残されたぶどうが、レーズンになった。鳥さんたち、食べるのかしら。」

Mommy: "The grass is growing between the rows of vines. The rainy season has come."

ママ：「ぶどうの木々の列の間に、草が生えてきた。雨の季節がやってきたのね。」

Mommy: "Since it's foggy and misty today, I see the morning dew."

ママ：「今日は、霧が出て霧雨だから、朝露が見える。」

Makana: "I'm sorry for bothering you while you are enjoying, but can we go for a walk now?"

マカナ：「お楽しみのところ申し訳ないんだけど、そろそろお散歩に行かない？」

Sachi: "I can get a little treat before starting a walk."

さち：「お散歩を始める前に、ちょっとおやつなんていいかな。」

Mommy: "Let's go for a walk."

ママ：「お散歩、行こ。」

Cork ornaments 〜コルクのオーナメント〜

Mommy: "One of our club members wanted to get wine corks the other day, so we gave some to her. Yesterday, they came back to us as the adorable ornaments! Isn't it amazing how our clubmembers think of us for this Thanksgiving Day month? I hope they feel our love, too."

ママ：「うちのクラブメンバーさんのお一人が先日、ワインのコルクが欲しいっておっしゃったのよ。それでいくつかお分けしたのよね。そしたら昨日そのコルクが、かわいらしいオーナメントになって戻ってきて！　この感謝祭の月に、クラブメンバーさんが私たちのことを思ってくださるなんて、感動じゃない？　クラブメンバーの皆さんも、私たちが思ってるってことを感じてくださるといいわね。」

Sachi: "Those ornaments are horses, aren't they? I wanted them to be Golden Retrievers."

さち：「オーナメントって、馬でしゅよね？　わたち、ゴールデンレトリバーがよかった。」

Mommy: "You are still wagging the tail."

ママ：「それでも、さっちゃんのしっぽはブルンブルンするんだね。」
