Easter dinner 〜イースターディナー〜

 

Mommy: "Lamb that we cooked for Easter was delicious, wasn't it?"

ママ：「イースターに調理したラム肉、おいしかったわね〜」

Daddy: "Yes, it was. Homemade parsley sauce was nice to add on lamb."

パパ：「うん、おいしかった。自家製パセリソースも、ラム肉に合ってよかったね。」

Sachi: "I was waiting for potatoes falling from the counter, but they didn't."

さち：「わたちは、カウンターからポテトが落ちてくるのを待ってたんでしゅけど、落ちてこなかった。」

Mommy: "Well, they were still raw at that time. I couldn't let them fall for you to eat."

ママ：「だって、あの時はまだ生だったもの。さっちゃんが食べないように、落とさないようにしてたから。」

Daddy: "Let's put a new spring bandana on you."

パパ：「新しい春のバンダナをつけてあげよう。」

Sachi: "Thank you, daddy♪"

さち：「パパ、ありがと♪」

Makana: "Please put one on me, too, daddy."

マカナ：「パパ、ぼくにもつけて〜」

Daddy: "OK."

パパ：「いいよ。」

Sachi: "Please put one more on me, daddy."

さち：「パパ、わたちにもうひとつつけて〜」

Daddy: "What!? I think one is enough."

パパ：「えっ！？　ひとつで十分じゃないかな。」

Sachi: "Taking a photo, brother."

さち：「にいにい、写真撮影でしゅよ。」

Makana: "OK."

マカナ：「OK」

Mommy: "Mmm... I don't see your bandanas..."

ママ：「うーん‥‥ バンダナが見えないな‥‥」

Sachi: "Can you see my bandana, now?"

さち：「バンダナ、見えましゅか？」

Mommy: "Yes, I can. Say, cheese♪"

ママ：「うん、見える。はい、チーズ♪」

パパ：「今日は、ビール醸造日。これは、日本スタイルのラガーだよ。」

Daddy: "Do you see rice with malts?"

パパ：「モルツと一緒にお米が入ってるの、見える？」

Mommy: "Yes, I can see. It's exciting♪"

ママ：「うん、見える。ワクワクするね〜♪」

Sachi: "Daddy & mommy have left us for a long time."

さち：「パパとママ、長い間わたちたちを置いてきぼりにちてる。」

Makana: "We need to talk with a lawyer."

マカナ：「弁護士に相談しなくっちゃ。」

Makana: "I saw the advertisement on Facebook recently. I think it said 'Did your human leave you alone for more than 10 minutes? Call the law office of biscuit'."

マカナ：「最近、フェイスブックで広告を見たな。確かこう書いてたと思うけど。”10分以上置き去りにされたら、ビスケット法律事務所へお電話を”って。」

Sachi: "Let's call."

さち：「電話ちよう。」

Mommy: "Mini tomatoes, basil and rosemary are planted. I feel so spring♪"

ママ：「ミニトマトとバジル、ローズマリーを植えた、と。とっても春って感じ♪」

Makana: "New plants, Sachi."

マカナ：「新しい植物だよ、さっちゃん。」

Sachi: "What are they?"

さち：「なんの植物でしゅか？」

Makana: "(whisperring) I heard mini tomatoes. I think they are edible."

マカナ：「（ヒソヒソ）ミニトマトって聞こえた。食べられると思うよ。」

Sachi: "Oh, really?"

さち：「あ、ホント？」

Sachi: "I wonder which one is a mini tomato plant♪♪♪"

さち：「ミニトマトの植物、どれかな〜♪♪♪」

Mommy: "...... I kind of feel dangerous..."

ママ：「なんか‥‥ 危険を感じる‥‥」

Sachi: "It's kind of dark for the morning."

さち：「朝なのに、なんか暗い。」

Mommy: "The sun might come out this afternoon. But it'll be cloudy the whole morning, according to the weather forecast.."

ママ：「午後になったら、太陽が出てくるかも。でも天気予報によると、午前中はずっと、曇りだって。」

Makana: "I'm going to sleep here until the sun comes out."

マカナ：「ぼくは、太陽が出てくるまでここで寝るよ。」

Mommy: "I wish I could sleep right next to you."

ママ：「ママもマーくんのとなりで寝られるといいんだけど。」

Serene: "Oh, the water is coming out."

セリーン：「あ、お水が出てる。」

Mommy: "I'm filling your water trough."

ママ：「セリーンくんたちの水桶をいっぱいにしてるの。」

Serene: "It's getting to the top. You should stop it soon."

セリーン：「上まで来てるよ。もうすぐ止めなきゃ。」

Mommy: "I know. We don't want to waste the water especially in California."

ママ：「わかってる。特にカリフォルニアでは、お水をムダにしたくはないものね。」

Sachi: "Do you still water the plant?"

さち：「しょれでも植物にお水をあげるでしゅか？」

Makana: "Proper watering is necessary, I guess."

マカナ：「適切な水やりは、必要なんじゃないかな。」

Mommy: "That's right."

Surviving 〜生き残る〜

 

The government, tarrif, tax, spring break, weather, and construction. There are some elements that make people avoid coming to downtown to have fun these days. We are the small business with employees. We are currently looking for the ways how to survive during this challenging time.

政府、関税、税金、春休み、天候、そして工事。最近、楽しみのためにダウンタウンに来るのを避けておられる方々がいらっしゃる原因はいくつかあります。私たちは、従業員のいる中小企業です。このチャレンジを乗り切るの方法を、現在模索しています。

Makana: "Please look for my new toy, too."

マカナ：「ぼくの新しいおもちゃも模索して。」

Mommy: "I think it is probably under Sachi."

ママ：「それはね、さっちゃんの下にあると思うよ。」
