Ehime had a problem last night. As soon as she came back from her bathroom outside at 1:30am, she barked. I turned the light on again and tried to figure out what her problem was.
昨夜、えひめは大変な思いをしました。午前１時半にお外でのトイレから帰ってきてすぐ、えひめがワンと鳴きました。私はまたライトをつけて、今度は何が問題なのか見つけようとしました。
She started to breath fast. So I brought the water bowl to her and let her drink the water. I thought of going back to bed after that, but she put her head on my hand. I soon realized she didn't want me to leave. So I laid down right next to her until she felt calm. It took a long long time before she fell into a deep sleep.
えひめの息が早くなりました。それで私はお水のボールを持ってきて、えひめにお水を飲ませました。そのあとベッドに戻ることも考えましたが、えひめが私の手の上に自分の頭を乗せてきました。すぐに、私に去ってもらいたくないのだとわかりました。それで、私はえひめが落ち着くまで、すぐそばで横になりました。えひめが深い眠りにつくまで、それはそれは長い時間がかかりました。
When I made sure she was asleep completely, I moved to the other bed room at 4:30am. I really need to have two-hour-sleep at least, since Sunday is still my work day. According to my husband, Ehime didn't have any problem after I left. That was a relief.
完全にえひめが眠りについたことを確かめて、午前４時半、私は別のベッドルームに行きました。本当に、少なくても2時間は寝なきゃと思いました。日曜日は、私にとっては仕事の日だからです。主人によれば、私が部屋を出たあと、えひめに問題はなかった、ということでした。
Ehime probably got in a little panic when she noticed she couldn't push herself to stand up. Our dear Kahlua had the exactly thing when he was 14 years old, and I remember I helped him to move around day & night.
多分、えひめが立とうとして自分の体を起こせないと気づいた時、パニックに陥ったのだと思われます。私たちの大切なカルアが14歳だったときも、まったく同じことが起きました。昼夜問わず、カルアが動けるようにお手伝いしたことを覚えています。
I didn't want to take a photo of Ehime this morning, since she seems a little tired. So here is the photo from the time when she was adoring her brother, Makana.
今朝は、えひめが少し疲れているように見えるので、彼女の写真を撮りたくありませんでした。なので、えひめが弟のマカナをかわいがっているときの写真をアップしますね。
