When it's a warm day like this 〜今日のような暑い日には〜

Ehime: "Huh, huh. It was warm on the walk this morning."

えひめ：「はあ、はあ。今朝のお散歩、暑かったでしゅね〜」

Kona: "Yes, it was.  I wonder what the temperature is right now."

コナ：「本当だね〜　いまは気温、何度くらいだろう。」

Mommy: "Let's see. The thermometer outside says about 70F. If it's 70F before 10:00am, it's going to be very warm today."

ママ：「どれどれ。お外の温度計では、摂氏21度だって。午前10時前に21度だったら、今日はかなり暑くなるよ〜」

Kona: "On a warm day like this, going to the beach and swimming in the water is perfect."

コナ：「こんなに暑い日には、ビーチに行って、お水の中で泳ぐのがパーフェクトだよね〜」

Ehime: "I don't want to go to the place where the seals are."

えひめ：「アシカしゃんのいるところに行くの、ヤだ。」

Kahlua: "I think the best thing we can do is having the tasty well water and relaxing in the air-conditionered house."

カルア：「やっぱり一番いいのは、おいしい井戸水を飲んで、エアコンの効いた家でリラックスすることだと思うよ。」

At cows　牛のところで

Mommy: "Oh! One deer came to drink the water in the water bucket for cows. Is she alone?"

ママ：「あっ！シカが一頭、牛用に置いているバケツのお水を飲みに来た。ひとりかしら？」

Happy: "Umm... I'm sure you are enjoying watching the deer. But is my breakfast coming soon?"

ハッピー：「あの‥‥　楽しくシカを見ているところをお邪魔して申し訳なんだけれど、私の朝ごはんはまだかしら？」

Mommy: "Oh, sorry. I'm going to get your hay right now."

ママ：「ああ、ごめんね。すぐ干し草を持ってくるから。」

Mommy: "Mm? I feel like someone is looking at me..."

ママ：「ん？なんだか視線を感じる‥‥」

Mommy: "Oh, a baby deer! I see. The mommy deer and a baby deer are resting in the shade behind the cow barn, and they are drinking the water from time to time over there."

ママ：「あっ、シカの赤ちゃん！なるほど。お母さんシカと赤ちゃんのシカが、牛小屋の後ろの影で休んでいるのね。そして、ときどきあそこのお水をんだりして。」

Joy: "Ahhh, I was late for the breakfast."

ジョイ：「あああ、朝ごはんに遅れちゃった。」

Joy: "Please don't eat up, mother."

ジョイ：「母さん、全部食べないでよ。」

Happy: "I haven't...... yet."

ハッピー：「食べてないわよ‥‥　まだ。」

It became warmer than I expected today. I spent the whole morning outside to take care of the vegetable garden and animals as usual. (Well.. I went to the post office, too.) When I came back from outside a little after 12:00pm, I was so sweaty. 

今日は、思ったよりも暑くなりました。いつものように、野菜畑や動物たちのお世話で午前中の時間をすべて費やしました。（あっ、郵便局も行きました。）午後12時過ぎに外から戻ってきたときには、汗をたくさんかいていました。

In the afternoon　午後

Mommy: "Oh, my! My iPhone says it's 93F right now."

ママ：「わあ！iPhoneでは、いま摂氏34度だって。」

Mommy: "Good thing is that the melon that I seeded one week ago sprouted♪"

ママ：「でもいいこともある。先週種を植えたメロン、芽が出てきた♪」

Mommy: "Oh! I now see one of the watermelon seeds is sprouting!"

ママ：「あっ！スイカの種のひとつも、芽が出てきた！」

Ehime: "Bad thing is that we may not be able to walk in the afternoon if it's too warm."

えひめ：「悪いこともありましゅよ。暑しゅぎると、午後のお散歩に行けないかもちれましぇんから。」

Mommy: "I see..."

ママ：「そうね‥‥」

Mommy: "Then, why don't we cut the watermelon that we bought two days ago? Isn't it exciting? It was only 99 cents for one."

ママ：「じゃあ、二日前に買ったスイカでも切る？ちょっとワクワクしない？これ一玉で、たったの99セントだったのよ。」
