Dog walk as a job 〜ドッグウォークのお仕事〜

Ehime: "Mommy? Are you going to a dog-walk job today, too?"

えひめ：「ママ？今日もドッグウォークのお仕事に行くでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Yes, I am."

ママ：「うん、行くよ。」

Kona: "Daddy, mommy is going to a dog-walk job today. Can we share the smoke salmon while she is away?"

コナ：「パパ、ママがね、今日もドッグウォークのお仕事に行くんだって。ママがいない間、スモークサーモンを一緒に食べない？」

Daddy: "You shouldn't talk about it with a loud voice, Kona."

パパ：「コナ、それは大きな声で言っちゃダメ。」

Mommy: "I can hear you two."

ママ：「二人とも、聞こえてるよ。」

Our realtor has two Golden Retrievers. They are like her kids and she loves her Goldens very very much. But she has no time to take them for a walk during the day. So she asked me if I can walk with her Goldens as a job. My answer is "Of course, I can!". 

私たちの不動産屋さんは、ゴールデンレトリバーを二匹飼っています。まるで自分の子供のように、とってもとってもかわいがっています。でも日中は、ゴールデンたちをお散歩に連れていく時間がありません。それで私に、仕事としてゴールデンたちをお散歩に連れ出してもらえないですか、と尋ねてこられました。私の答えは「もちろん、できます！」

Sophie: "Hello. My name is Sophie. Nice to meet you♪"

ソフィ：「こんにちは。ソフィと言います。よろしくお願いします♪」

Mommy: "How's the walk so far?"

ママ：「今のところ、歩くの、大丈夫？」

Sophie: "I'm doing fine."

ソフィ：「大丈夫です。」

Mommy: "We have a beautiful park behind us. Do you want to walk on the green?"

ママ：「裏にステキな公園があるでしょ。芝生の上を歩く？」

Sophie: "Um, my mommy said that I don't get along with other dogs well. Can you stay with me closely, so that I don't get surprised seeing other dogs?"

ソフィ：「あのね、ママがね、私はあまり他の犬たちと仲良くできないって言ってました。ずっと私のそばにいてくれますか？そうしたら、他の犬を見て驚かないから。」

Mommy: "Of course. We work on that part together, OK? So don't worry too much."

ママ：「もちろんよ。それは、一緒に克服していきましょうね。だから、あんまり心配しすぎないで。」

Sophie: "And... I might get tired soon because of my weight."

ソフィ：「あと‥‥　体重があるから、すぐに疲れちゃうかも。」

Mommy: "I understand."

ママ：「わかった。」

Sophie and I walked together for 30min around the neighbourhood. Next I started to walk with the other dog, Leo.

ソフィちゃんと私は、ご近所を30分ほど歩きました。次に、もう一匹の犬、レオくんと歩き始めました。

Leo: "Nice to meet you. I'm Leo. I'm a big brother of Sophie."

レオ：「レオです。ソフィのお兄ちゃんだよ。よろしくね。」

Mommy: "Are you doing OK so far, Leo?"

ママ：「レオくん、今のところ、大丈夫？」

Leo: "I'm doing fine."

レオ：「大丈夫。」

Leo: "But I can sit any time if you give me dry bananas in your bag."

レオ：「でも、ママさんのバッグに入っている干しバナナをくれるなら、いつでもおすわりするから。」

Mommy: "Haha! OK. Here you are♪"

ママ：「あはは！わかった。はい、どうぞ♪」

Leo: "I wonder how my mommy is doing now."

レオ：「ぼくのママ、今ごろどうしてるかな。」

Mommy: "I think she is thinking exactly the same thing about you."

ママ：「きっとママさんも同じように、レオくんどうしてるかな、って思っているんじゃないかな。」

I finished Leo's walk. Their mommy was still at work, so I told them to take a nap for a while. Then I went back to my house.

レオくんのお散歩が終わりました。ママさんはまだお仕事のようだったので、ふたりにしばらくお昼寝するように言いました。それから家に戻りました。

Kona: "Welcome back home, mommy♪"

コナ：「ママ、おかえり〜♪」

Ehime: "How was the dog-walk today?"

えひめ：「今日のドッグウォークはどうでちたか？」

That's right. I shouldn't forget about my own dogs. Right after I came back from a dog-walk with Sophie and Leo, I took Kona and Ehime for a walk. In total, I walked three hours a day with doggies!

そうでした。自分の犬たちを忘れてはいけません。ソフィちゃんやレオくんとのお散歩から帰ってすぐ、コナとえひめをお散歩に連れ出しました。合計すると、一日で犬と一緒に歩いた時間は３時間になりました！

Mommy: "Dinner is ready, darling♪"

ママ：「パパ〜、晩ごはん、できたよ〜♪」

Daddy: "Oh, our first homemade dinner in this house!"

パパ：「おお、この家で食べる初めてのホームメイドの晩ごはんだ！」

Daddy: "Look, honey. Kona is having a dream. His mouth and paws are moving."

パパ：「ママ、見て。コナ、夢を見てるよ。口と足が動いてる。」

Mommy: "Maybe he is dreaming about eating Kahlua's birthday cake."

ママ：「カルアのバースデーケーキを食べてる夢でも見てるのかな？」
