Salmon smoking day 〜サーモンの燻製の日〜

Kahlua: "Daddy, what are you making today?"

カルア：「パパ、今日はなにを作ってるの？」

Daddy: "I'm making smoking brine for salmon now. We are going to smoke salmon today, because the weather is nice♪"

パパ：「今サーモンのつけ汁を作っているところ。今日はサーモンの燻製を作るんだよ。お天気がいいからね♪」

Mommy: "Daddy loves his smoker. He likes to use the recipe from this book, that came with the smoker."

ママ：「パパはね、自分のスモーカー（燻製機）が大好きなの。レシピは、スモーカーを購入したときについてきたこの本の中に書いてあるのよ。」

Kahlua: "I see."　カルア：「そうなんだ〜」

Daddy: "Look, honey. The salmon from Costco looks great♪"

パパ：「ママ、見て。コストコで買ったサーモン、いい色つやしてるね〜♪」

Mommy: "Nice and thick♥"　ママ：「分厚くていいわね〜♥」

Daddy: "We need to wait until the brine cools down."

パパ：「つけ汁が冷えるまで待たなきゃいけないな〜」

Ehime: "Wait? OK! Brother Kona! It's a wrestling time! Daaaaa!"

えひめ：「待つ？わかりまちた！コナにい！レスリングの時間でしゅよ！どぁー！」

Kona: "What are you doing to your older brother! Daaaaa!"

コナ：「年上のおにいちゃんにむかってなにをするんだよー！どぁー！」

Ehime: What are you doing to a young cute lady!?"

えひめ：「若くてかわいい女の子に向かってなんてことしゅるでしゅか！」

Ehime: "Woooo, Ehime's attack!"

えひめ：「うぅぅぅぅぅ、えひめのアタッッッッッック！」 

Kona: "Kona's defense!"

コナ：「コナの防御！」

Kahlua: "Um... can anyone teach me the rule?"

カルア：「あの〜、誰かぼくにルール教えてくれない？」

The brine cooled down. Daddy put the salmon in there and marinaded for three hours.

つけ汁は無事に冷め、パパはサーモンを入れて、３時間マリネしました。

Daddy: "Let's take them out. Mmmm, they look great♪"

パパ：「さぁ、取り出してみよう。ん〜、なかなかいい感じだね〜♪」

Mommy: "Wonderful♪ I want to eat now as sashimi♥"

ママ：「あら、ステキ♪　お刺身ってことで、このまま頂きたいわ〜♥」

Kona: "Daddy, is my salmon piece done?"

コナ：「パパ？ぼくのサーモン、できた？」

Daddy: "Sorry, Kona. Smoke salmon is too salty for you."

パパ：「ごめんね、コナ。サーモンの燻製は、コナには塩分が高すぎるんだよ。」

Kona: "Noooo! That makes me very sad..."

コナ：「そんな〜！ぼく、すごく悲しい‥‥」

Ehime: "That's OK, brother Kona. Daddy probably will give us a peanut butter chewing bone if I wink at him good♥ Mmm, winking is difficult..."

えひめ：「大丈夫でしゅよ、コナにい。わたちが上手にウインクできたら、パパきっと、ビーナッツバター味のカミカミ骨をくれましゅから♥　うーん、ウインク、難ちいでしゅね‥‥」
