A little business trip 〜ちょっとしたビジネストリップ〜

 

Kula Hawaiian Kitchen is the name of our new restaurant! Yesterday, we had a little business trip to learn from the professional chef who has over 20 years of restaurant management experience.

クラ・ハワイアンキッチンが、私たちの新しいレストランの名前です！　20年以上レストランマネージメントの経験があるプロのシェフさんから学ぶため、ちょっとしたビジネストリップに出かけました。

Mommy: "Really? You say so, but your tail is moving up and down again."

ママ：「そう？　その割には、尻尾がまたパタパタしてるけど。」

Mommy: "Ma-kun and Sachi. Daddy & I are on a business trip. We are looking forward to seeing you two when we get back home."

ママ：「マーくん、さっちゃ〜ん。パパとママは、ビジネストリップ中よ〜　お家に帰ってふたりに会えること、楽しみにしてるね〜」

Makana: "I don't know why, but being on the beach doesn't sound like a business trip. Are they actually on a vacation?"

マカナ：「なぜだかわからないけど、ビーチにいるのって、ビジネストリップって感じじゃないけど。もしかして、バケーション？」

It's bothering me. 〜気になる〜

 

Mommy: "Ahh, Sachi. Don't lick."

ママ：「ああ、さっちゃん。舐めないで。」

Sachi: "Mmm... But..."

さち：「んん‥‥ でも‥‥」

Sachi: "There is something on my foot. It's bothering me."

さち：「足になんかついてましゅから。気になる。」

Mommy: "I understand. But that is to avoid getting a lick from you."

ママ：「わかるよ。でもそれは、さっちゃんが舐めるのを避けるためだから。」

Sachi: "Mmm..."

さち：「んん‥‥」

Dinner time　晩ごはんの時間

Mommy: "Your back foot not on the floor. Does it hurt you?"

ママ：「さっちゃんの後ろ足が床についてない。足、痛む？」

Sachi: "Not. I just don't like the stuff around my foot."

さち：「痛くないけど、足の周りにあるのがイヤなんでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "We can take it off when it's a little better."

ママ：「ちょっと良くなったらそれ、取ろうね。」

Daddy: "Let's take the staves off from the counter. Otherwise it's too heavy to carry."

パパ：「カウンターから樽の木をはずそう。じゃないと、重すぎて運べないから。」

Mommy: "I'll try to take some nails out. Yay, I did it♪"

ママ：「私は、釘を取るわね。やった〜、できた♪」

At home　おうち

Sachi: "I was licking my back paw while you two were out. Now I have the red there."

さち：「パパとママがいない間、後ろ足を舐めてたら、しょこに赤いのができた。」

Mommy: "Oh, no. That's a hot spot. I wonder if that's allergy from something or the stress. Let's spray the spot. Please don't lick it, OK?"

ママ：「なんてこと、ホットスポットかしら。何かのアレルギーかな、それともストレスかな。スプレーしましょ。舐めないでね。」

Mommy: "We have a little leftover rosé. Let's make some frosé tonight."

ママ：「ちょっとだけロゼの残りがあるから、今夜はフロゼを作ろうっと。」

Sachi: "You'll get rosé. I'll get an ice cube. What do you say?"

さち：「ママはロゼ、わたちは氷。どうでしゅか？」

Mommy: "I say deal♪"

ママ：「取引成功♪」

Mommy: "Darling, frosé is ready."

ママ：「パパ〜、フロゼができたよ〜」

Daddy: "Delicious. I like it a little bit sweeter next time."

パパ：「おいしい。次回は、もうちょっと甘めでもいいな。」

Mommy: "OK. Then, we've got to make some leftover of rosé again."

ママ：「わかった。じゃあ、またロゼの残りを作らなくっちゃね。」

Daddy: "Ahaha. Deal♪"

パパ：「あはは。取引成功♪」

The newcomers in the backyard 〜裏庭の新参者〜

 

Makana: "I hear something from here."

マカナ：「なんか、ここから音が聞こえる。」

 Mommy: "I watered the plants. The water is probably going through the pot."

ママ：「お水をあげたからね。鉢植えを通り抜けてるんじゃないかな。」

Makana: "I see. I didn't know the pot can talk when they drink the water."

マカナ：「そっか。鉢植えが水を飲んでしゃべるなんて、知らなかったよ。」

Mommy: "Umm... Was my explanation bad?"

ママ：「あの‥‥ ママの説明の仕方が悪かったのかしらねえ。」

Sachi: "Here is another plant."

さち：「ここにも別の植木がありましゅよ。」

Mommy: "We brought this from the tasting room. I just put it in the bigger pot."

ママ：「これは、テイスティングルームから持ってきたの。大きな鉢植えに植え替えたばかりなの。」

Sachi: "Oh, I see. There is the soil that you dropped on the ground. Can I eat?"

さち：「ああ、なるほど。地面には、ママが落とちた土がある。食べてもいいでしゅか？」

Mommy: "No. You already chewed a few leaves last night, remember?"

ママ：「ダメ。さっちゃん昨日、葉っぱを数枚かじったでしょ。覚えてる？」

Sachi: "Well... I don't have such a memory..."

さち：「えっと‥‥ しょういう記憶はございましぇん‥‥」

The moon in the morning 〜朝の月〜

 

Mommy: "Can you sit still there?"

ママ：「そこで座っててくれる？」

Sachi: "Oh, the biscuit time? (smile)"

さち：「あ、ビスケットの時間？（ニコッ）」

Makana: "You are always talking about food."

マカナ：「さっちゃんは、食べ物のことばっかりなんだから。」

Mommy: "I guess I can give you a biscuit, too. But I actually want to take a photo of the moon."

ママ：「ビスケットもあげられるけど、実は、月の写真を撮りたいのよ。」

Sachi: "The moon? Do you see the moon in the morning?"

さち：「月？　朝に月が見えるの？」

Mommy: "Yes. But the thing is it's already after 9:00am. It's interesting seeing the moon this time."

ママ：「そうなの。でも、もう午前9時を回ってるのにね。こんな時間に月が見えるなんて、おもしろいわね〜」

Makana: "It's time to go back home."

マカナ：「そろそろおうちに帰る時間だよ。」

Sachi: "I guess brother Ma is thirsty. It's kind of a warm day."

さち:「マーにいにい、きっとのどが渇いてるんでしゅね。わりと暑い日でしゅから。」
