Consultation of dinner 〜晩ごはんの相談〜

Mommy: "Leo? Do you have any idea what I should make for dinner tonight?"

ママ：「レオくん？今日の夜、晩ごはんに何を作ったらいいかなあ。」

Leo: "I think you should make..."

レオ：「そりゃあ、やっぱり‥‥」

Leo: "Chicken Parmigiano♪ He he♥"

レオ：「チキンパルメジャーノ♪　えへっ♥」

Mommy: "That sounds good. But I'm thinking a little lower calorie dish than that."

ママ：「いいわね。でも、もうちょっとカロリー低めのがいいんだけど。」

Leo: "Tasty thing has high calories."

レオ：「おいしいものは、高カロリーなんです。」

Leo: "Fu fu♪ (lick)"

レオ：「ふふ♪（ペロッ）」

Mommy: "Are you imagining something?"

ママ：「なんか想像してる？」

Mommy: "...So, that's the conversation I had with Leo. Do you have any idea what I should make for dinner, Sophie?"

ママ：「‥‥というわけで、これがレオくんと話したことなんだけど。ソフィちゃん、晩ごはんに何を作ったらいいかなあ。」

Sophie: "I think you should make..."

ソフィ：「そりゃあ、やっぱり‥‥」

Sophie: "Italian meat balls with tomato sauce♪ Fu fu♥"

ソフィ：「トマトソースのかかったイタリアンミートボール♪　うふふ♥」

Mommy: "I can see your mommy is a fan of Italian food."

ママ：「ソフィちゃんたちのママが、イタリアンフードのファンだって丸わかりね。」

Mommy: "...So, that's the conversation I had with Leo and Sophie. Do you have any idea what I should make for dinner, Kona and Ehime?"

ママ：「‥‥というわけで、これがレオくんやソフィちゃんと話したことなんだけど。コナくん、ひめたん、ママ、晩ごはんに何を作ったらいいかなあ。」

Kona: "Ehime, please think very well, OK?"

コナ：「ひめたん、よくよく考えてね。わかった？」

Ehime: "I know. What mommy makes might become our breakfast the next day."

えひめ：「わかってましゅよ。ママが作るものは、次の日のわたちたちの朝ごはんになるかもちれましぇんからね。」

Mommy: "One, two!"

ママ：「せ〜のっ！」

Kona: "Grilled salmon salad!"

コナ：「グリルしたサーモンのサラダ！」

Ehime: "Banana crepe!"

えひめ：「バナナクレープ！」

Kona: "Ehime, mommy asked the idea for dinner. Not for dessert!"

コナ：「ひめたん、ママが聞いてたのは晩ごはんのことで、デザートじゃないんだよ！」

Ehime: "Just because.... I want to eat it!"

えひめ：「だって‥‥　食べたいでしゅから！」

Mommy: "Umm... where is my place to cook?"

ママ：「あの‥‥　ママ、どこでお料理すればいいの？」

Ehime: "What are you doing, mommy?"

えひめ：「ママ、なにちてるでしゅか？」

Mommy: "I'm grinding the chicken breast."

ママ：「チキンの胸肉を使って、ミンチを作ってるの。」

Mommy: "Ta da! Chicken tomato sauce pasta with Tofu salad. I made onion dressing, too. There is no banana tonight, but I think I used almost everybody's idea♪"

ママ：「ジャジャーン！チキントマトソースのパスタとお豆腐のサラダ。オニオンドレッシングも作ったのよ。今夜はバナナはないけれど、みんなの意見をだいたい使わせてもらったよ。」

Are you OK, daddy? 〜パパ、大丈夫？〜

Kahlua: "Yesterday midnight, daddy got really sick. So mommy took him to the emergency room and he got treatment by a doctor. They came back about 2:30am."

カルア：「昨日の真夜中、パパ、すっごく体調が悪くなったんだ。だからママ、パパを救命救急に連れていったんだよ。お医者さんが治療してくれたんだ。帰ってきたのは、午前2時半くらいだったかな。」

Kahlua: "Oh, please don't worry. He is getting better, now."

カルア：「あ、でも心配しないで。パパ、もうだいぶ良くなったから。」

Ehime: "I heard that mommy was in a panic and she was almost driving into the ambulance entrance when she tried to park the car."

えひめ：「聞いたんでしゅけどね、ママ、パニックでちたから、車を駐車場に入れるとき、もうちょっとで救急車の出入り口に入るところだったらちいでしゅよ。」

Kahlua: "Fu fu♪ That really sounds like our mommy."

カルア：「ククッ♪　ママらしい。」

Ehime: "I think we are going to get daddy's medication soon."

えひめ：「もうしゅぐパパのお薬をもらいに行くと思うんでしゅけど。」

Kona: "Ehime, we are going out. Let's clean you up♪ (lick)"

コナ：「ひめたん、おでかけだよ。きれいにしようね〜♪（ペロッ）」

Ehime: "Please."

えひめ：「よろちく。」

Kona: "Let's clean your ears, too♪"

コナ：「耳もきれいにしようね♪」

Ehime: "OK."

えひめ：「あい。」

Ehime: "Brother Kona? Can I use you as a pillow?"

えひめ：「コナにい？にいたまを枕にちてもいいでしゅか？」

Kona: "Of course."

コナ：「もちろんだよ。」

After driving around here and there for 2.5 hours, I got tired and couldn't walk any dogs today. So I decided to unpack the boxes, which was cook books.

２時間半、あちらこちらへ運転して帰ってきたときにはすっかり疲れてしまい、犬たちのお散歩に出かけることができませんでした。それで、お引越しの段ボールを開けることにしました。出てきたのは、お料理の本でした。

Ehime: "That's a huge shrimp."

えひめ：「大きなえびでしゅね〜」

Mommy: "Doesn't it look delicious?"

ママ：「おいしそうね〜」

Mommy: "Look, Kona. This is Bang Bang Chicken. This looks delicious, doesn't it?"

ママ：「コナくん、見て。バンバンジー。これ、おいしそうよね〜」

※ Bang Bang Chicken is the chicken dish with a spicy sauce. 

Kona: "Are you asking me who is allergic to chicken?"

コナ：「チキンアレルギーのぼくに聞いてる？」

Mommy: "Oh, wow! Look at this, Kona. Thanks to Chloe's mommy, I'm almost finishing collecting stickers. I'm getting more Rachael Ray dishes!"

ママ：「うわ〜！コナくん、見て。クロエちゃんのママさんのおかげで、もうすぐシール集めが終わりになるよ。またレイチェル・レイのお皿がもらえる！」

Kona: "That's good. By the way, don't you need to go see how daddy is doing?"

コナ：「よかったね。ところで、パパがどうしてるか見に行かなくていいの？」

Mommy: "You are right."

ママ：「そうだった。」

Mommy's craft time 〜ママのクラフトの時間〜

I heard it was going to be windy in the afternoon. So I decided to walk with all the doggies in the morning, and do some house errands in this afternoon.

午後は強風になると聞きました。それで、午前中にすべての犬のお散歩をすませ、午後は家の用事をすることにしました。

3:00pm　午後３時

Mommy: "Who wants to get chewy bones?"

ママ：「カミカミ欲しいひとは誰かな〜」

Kona: "(Gollum)"

コナ：「（ゴクリ）」

Mommy: "While doggies are chewing bones, let's make Christmas lights for Chloe's family. I have Mason's jar, ribbons, bell and LED lights."

ママ：「犬たちがカミカミしているあいだ、クロエちゃん家にあげるクリスマスライトを作ろうかな。メイソンジャー、リボン、ベル、LEDライト、よし！」

Mommy: "Are you doing OK, Ehime?"

ママ：「ひめたん、大丈夫？」

Ehime: "I'm busy now."

えひめ：「今いそがちいでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "Ahhh! I got a gold hand!"

ママ：「あああ！手がゴールドハンドになった！」

Mommy: "You look like you are playing the harmonica♪"

ママ：「カルアくん、ハーモニカを吹いているみたい♪」

Kahlua: "This is my serious chewing."

カルア：「ぼく、マジメにカミカミしています。」

Mommy: "I did it! Let's put LED lights in it."

ママ：「できた！中にLEDライトを入れてみよう。」

Mommy: "Pretty♪ I think I like this one better than the one I made before."

ママ：「かわいい〜♪　前に作ったのより、こっちのほうが良く出来たみたい。」

Ehime: "(put her paw on my lap)"

えひめ：「（ペシッ！）」

Mommy: "What?"

ママ：「なに？」

Ehime: "I want the second one♪"

えひめ：「おかわりくだしゃ〜い♪」

Mommy: "You finished already!? There is no second bone."

ママ：「ひめたん、もう食べちゃったの！？おかわりはないよ。」

Ehime: "Then, can I eat this?"

えひめ：「じゃあ、これ食べてもいいでしゅか？」

Mommy: "No. I like the sign of 'A house is not a home without Golden'."

ママ：「ダメ。”A house is not a home without Golden”のそのサイン、気に入ってるから。」

Kahlua: "What are you going to do next, mommy?"

カルア：「ママ、今度は何するの？」

Mommy: "I'm going to make some rub for beef. I made the same one yesterday using this smoked paprika, and it was delicious. So I want to take it to Chloe's family with the Christmas lights."

ママ：「牛肉用のシーズニングを作ろうかな。昨日スモークパプリカを使って同じのを作ったら、とってもおいしかったの。だからクリスマスライトと一緒に、クロエちゃん家にお届けしようと思って。」

After cleaning up the kitchen, I went to see how Goldens were doing. I knew Kona feels safe to chew his bone in daddy's office, so it wasn't hard to find them.

キッチンの片付けの後、ゴールデンズがどうしているか見に行きました。コナがパパのオフィースだと安心してカミカミできるのを知っているので、ゴールデンズがどこにいるのか見つけるのは難しくありませんでした。

Ehime: "Brother Kona is still chewing his bone, mommy."

えひめ：「ママ、コナにいがね、まだカミカミちてる。」

Mommy: "I think that's the normal speed."

ママ：「それが普通のスピードだと思うよ。」

Kahlua has a stomachache. 〜カルア、おなかが痛い〜

Kahlua: "I'm Kahlua. Today, I'm a little sick. I have a stomachache."

カルア：「カルアだよ。今日はぼく、ちょっと体調が悪いの。おなかが痛いんだ。」

Kahlua: "I ate breakfast, because I like to eat. But it looks like I have diarrhea today."

カルア：「朝ごはんは食べたんだよ。ぼく、食べるのが好きだから。でも、今日は下痢してるみたい。」

Mommmy: "Do you want to drink this medication, Kahlua? Let's see if it works for you."

ママ：「カルアくん、このお薬、飲んでみる？効いてくれるといいんだけれど。」

Ehime: "I can be with him for a drinking party♪"

えひめ：「飲み会なら、わたちも一緒に♪」

Mommy: "Not you, Ehime."

ママ：「ひめたんはいいの。」

While Kahlua is resting, I took Leo and Sophie for a walk. We met friendly young kids at the park, and they petted Leo. What a great opportunity for Leo's socialising!

カルアが休んでいる間、私はレオくんとソフィちゃんのお散歩に行きました。公園で、とってもフレンドリーな小さな子供たちに会い、レオくんをなでなでしに来てくれました。レオくんの社会化の勉強には、素晴らしいチャンスです！

Kids: "You are Leo, the lion♪"

子供たち：「ライオンのレオくん〜♪」

Mommy: "Dog, for your information."

ママ：「犬だけどね。」

Sophie: "Beautiful autumn day♪"

ソフィ：「きれいな秋の日ですね〜♪」

Of course, Kona & Ehime walk after Leo & Sophie.

レオくんとソフィちゃんのあと、もちろんコナとえひめが歩きます。

Ehime: "Are you alive, mommy?"

えひめ：「ママ、生きてる？」

Mommy: "I guess. This is fourth time to go out with doggies today, so my legs hurt a little."

ママ：「まあ。これで犬たちとのお散歩は今日４回目だから、ちょっと足が痛いかな。」

When I went in the park with Kona & Ehime, we met one Golden Retriever. The owner adopted him and named him Goldie. This one year old, Goldie cannot meet with other dogs well yet, so the owner was trying to train him. Taking him to the park is a part of training. Kona lay down in front of him, and raised the leg (as usual!). Ehime lay down right next to Kona, too.

コナとえひめと一緒に公園に入ると、あるゴールデンレトリバーに出会いました。飼い主さんはこのゴールデンを家族に迎え、ゴールディと名付けました。この一歳のゴールディは、まだ他の犬と上手にあいさつをすることができません。公園にゴールディを連れてきているのは、トレーニングの一環だそうです。コナはゴールディの前でダウンして、クンクンして、とばかりに片足をあげました（いつものように！）。えひめも、コナのとなりにダウンしました。

Goldie's owner was with her brother. He rescued this shy dog who was born in a puppy mill. Puppy mills are an awful place. They breed dogs like a factory for money. Dogs from a puppy mill are well-know as weak, frightened and aggressive. This dog was frightened. We had a space from him. We exchanged the contact number for the future meet up.

ゴールディの飼い主さんは、弟さんと一緒でした。この人は、パピーミルで生まれたパピーをレスキューしたそうです。パピーミルは、ひどいところです。お金のために、まるで工場生産するように、犬に赤ちゃんを生ませます。パピーミル出身の犬は、とても弱く、怖がりだったり、攻撃的なことで知られています。この犬は怖がりでした。私たちは、犬から距離を取りました。近々、犬たちを一緒に遊ばせましょうね、と言って、私たちは連絡先を交換しました。

We came back home. It looked like Kahlua was ready for going outside.

家に帰ってきました。カルアは、外に出たそうでした。

Mommy: "Do you want to go outside, Kahlua?"

ママ：「カルアくん、お外に行く？」

Kahlua: "Yes. I kind of feel nausea."

カルア：「うん。なんかちょっと吐き気があるような。」

Mommy: "I wonder if you have an appetite, Kahlua."

ママ：「カルアくん、食欲はあるかな。」

Kahlua: "I never lose appetite."

カルア：「ぼく、食欲がなくなることはないの。」

Mommy: "Haha! That's right. I hope you get better tomorrow."

ママ：「あはは！そうだった。カルアくん、明日は元気になってるといいね。」

Ehime: "Mommy, second bowl, please♪"

えひめ：「ママ〜、おかわりくだしゃ〜い♪」

Mommy: "You never lose an appetite, too."

ママ：「ひめたんも、食欲がなくなることはないね〜」
