Even though we don't have a lot of time 〜あまり時間はなくても〜

Yesterday　昨日

Kahlua: "Bow-wow, bow-wow!!! Don't leave us!!!"

カルア：「ワンワン、ワンワン！！！ぼくたちを置いていかないで〜〜〜！！！」

Mommy: "You exaggerated. I'm just checking the chickens and chicks."

ママ：「大げさな〜　ちょっとにわとりたちとひよこたちの様子を見ているだけよ。」

Chick A: "Do we have a guest?"

ひよこA：「お客さん？」

Chick B: "Oh, no! We haven't cleaned the house!"

ひよこB：「あら、大変！おうちのお掃除、してないわ！」

Kona: "How are the chickens and chicks?"

コナ：「にわとりさんやひよこさんたち、元気だった？」

Mommy: "They are doing well."

ママ：「元気だったよ。」

Mommy: "Now, let's check the garden. Oh, wow! The watermelon bud came out! This temperature might be cold for the bud today."

ママ：「今度は、畑の様子を見てみよう。あら！スイカの芽が出てきた！今日の気温は、出てきた芽には寒いかもしれないわね。」

Ehime: "Look, mommy! Strawberry got hurt!"

えひめ：「ママ、見て！いちごが、イタイイタイでしゅよ！」

Mommy: "Awww... Maybe birds pecked it."

ママ：「あうう‥‥　多分鳥に突っつかれたのね。」

Mommy: "Blueberries are doing well. We should put the net on soon."

ママ：「ブルーベリーは大丈夫ね。早めにネットをかけないと。」

Ehime: "Mommyyyyyy♪"

えひめ：「ママ〜〜〜♪」

Ehime: "He he♪"

えひめ：「えへへ♪」

Mommy: "You are acting like a baby today, Ehime."

ママ：「ひめたん、今日は甘えたさんね〜」

Kahlua: "Ehime always acts like a baby."

カルア：「えひめは、いつも甘えたさんだよ。」

Ehime: "I'm usually an adult lady!"

えひめ：「わたち、いつもは大人の女性でしゅから！」

Daddy: "One, two, three! Gosh, this is heavy..."

パパ：「１、２の３！はあ、なんて重いんだ‥‥」

Mommy: "Good job, darling. Cows are waiting for dinner."

ママ：「パパ、がんばって〜　牛たち、晩ごはんを待ってるよ〜」

There are so many things to do for the vineyard and animals these days. Both my husband and I don't seem to have enough time every day. After taking care of animals in the afternoon yesterday, we left to Costco and other stores around 6:00pm. Why this time? Because it's hard for us to find time for the grocery shopping during the day.

最近、ぶどう園や動物たちのためにすることが、たくさんあります。主人も私も、毎日時間が足りないようです。昨日の午後、動物のたちのお世話のあと、午後６時に、コストコやその他のお店に向かいました。どうしてこの時間かって？なぜなら、日中に食料買出しに行く時間を見つけることが難しいからです。

As you know by now, all the stores are far away from us. When we came back home and put the things away, it was already 10:00pm. I folded the laundry clothes at 11:30pm and made the infused water for the next day at midnight. Phew...

もう皆さんご存知のように、お店はすべて、我が家から遠いところにあります。私たちが家に帰ってきて、後片付けを終えたときはすでに、午後10時でした。午後11時半に洗濯物をたたみ、真夜中に次の日のインフューズドウォーターを作りました。ふう‥‥

Today　今日

Daddy: "Thank you for a ride. I'm going to work with Mr. G's tractor today."

パパ：「送ってくれてありがとう。今日はGさんのトラクターで仕事をするから。」

Mommy: "OK. Good luck."

ママ：「わかった。がんばってね。」

Mommy: "Going through the trackless road, I now need to go to cows."

ママ：「道無き道を通って、今度は牛たちのところに行かなきゃ。」

Mommy: "I've got to make my system to clean the pen where we decided to keep Happy (and Joy) for a while. I don't want to get a kick by cows for being too close to them."

ママ：「しばらくハッピーちゃん（とジョイくん）を入れておくと決めた囲いのお掃除をするのに、自分なりのシステムを作らなきゃいけないわ。近寄りすぎて、牛たちに蹴られるのは困るもの。」

Happy: "Sorry for being a high-mentenace-girl. My dental problem is getting better."

ハッピー：「面倒くさい女で、ごめんなさいね。お口、だいぶ良くなってきているのよ。」

Mommy: "No problem. Please eat well and be healthy."

ママ：「大丈夫よ。たくさん食べて、健康でいてね。」

Mommy: "Now, let's go back to the house to water the garden."

ママ：「さあ、今度は家に帰って、畑にお水をあげなきゃ。」

Mommy: "Maybe I'm going to feed the onions and tomatoes, too."

ママ：「そうだ。玉ねぎとトマトに、肥料をやっておこうっと。」

Chick A: "Why are there only two monster chickens out here today?"

ひよこA：「今日はどうして、怪獣にわとりが二羽しかいないのかしら？」

Chick B: "One is probably laying an egg now."

ひよこB：「きっといま、卵を産んでるのよ。」

We had cards that we wanted to mail today. I thought I got a good idea and drew our dogs in the card. You know what. I knew I was a bad drawer, but I thought I could do better...

今日送りたいカードがありました。いいことを思いついたと思い、カードに我が家の犬たちの絵を描きました。絵が上手ではないということは自分でわかっていましたが、もう少しマシだと思っていたんです‥‥

Mommy: "Oh... Kahlua's face became weird..."

ママ：「あっ‥‥　カルアくんのお顔が変になっちゃった‥‥」

Kahlua: "Boo. I look like a monkey there."

カルア：「もう。それじゃあぼく、猿みたいじゃないか。」
