Kahlua grows his hair quicker than anybody in the house. 〜家の誰よりも毛の伸びが早いカルア〜

Kona: "Kahlua's front tooth is shaky."

コナ：「カルアくんの前歯、ぐらぐらしてる〜」

Ehime: "Is it going to be loosen?"

えひめ：「抜けるでしゅか？」

Kahlua: "...... Am I turning old?"

カルア：「‥‥　ぼく、お年寄りなの？」

Ehime: "Oh! Mommy got the paper towel out. She might give you a surgery, brother Kahlua."

えひめ：「あっ！ママがペイパータオルを持ってきた。カルアにいの手術をしゅるんじゃないでしゅか？」

Kahlua: "Don't scare me..."

カルア：「もう、怖がらせないでよ‥‥」

Kona: "I hate the surgery."

コナ：「ぼく、手術きらい。」

Mommy: "I noticed about your front tooth today, but I'm not trying to do the scary thing to you, Kahlua."

ママ：「今日カルアくんの前歯のことは気づいたけれど、カルアくんに怖いことしようとしているんじゃないのよ。」

Kahlua: "Really?"

カルア：「ホント？」

Mommy: "I'm just giving you a hair cut. Nothing scary♪"

ママ：「ちょっと毛を切るだけよ。怖いこと、な〜んにもないよ♪」

Kahlua: "Then... Why did Ehime walk away?"

カルア：「じゃあ‥‥　なんでえひめは逃げたの？」

Ehime: "I didn't walk away. I just remembered my errand to do."

えひめ：「逃げてましぇんよ。ちょっと用事を思い出ちただけ。」

Kahlua: "What's your errand?"

カルア：「用事ってなに？」

Mommy: "Now, don't move, Kahlua. See? I got two burrs from you."

ママ：「さあ、動かないで、カルアくん。ほら、くっつき虫が二つ出てきた。」

Kahlua: "Those are my ornaments on my foot."

カルア：「それ、ぼくの足につけていたオーナメント。」

Mommy: "Our friend in Japan, Mrs. Y told me how to cut the hair on your feet. First, take the hair out between the toes. Then, cut."

ママ：「日本にいるお友だちのYさんが、足毛の切り方を教えてくれたのよね。最初に足の指の間から毛をかき出して、それから切る。」

Mommy: "See? It's already getting better. Now let's continue."

ママ：「ほら。もうだいぶ良くなってきた。さあ、続けよう。」

Kahlua: "Just asking you, but... are you trying to do all my feet?"

カルア：「ちょっとお尋ねしますが‥‥　ぼくの足、全部やるつもり？」

Mommy: "Yes, I am."

ママ：「そうよ。」

Kona: "It looks like Kahlua is getting a pedicure."

コナ：「なんだかカルアくん、ペディキュアをしてもらってるみたい。」

Mommy: "Let's cut some of the hair on your legs. It'll be raining later this week. It's good to clean up a little bit."

ママ：「足の上の部分の毛も、ちょっと切っておこうね。今週後半は、雨になるから。少しさっぱりしておくのはいいことだわ。」

After Kahlua's hair cut　カルアのヘアカットのあと

Ehime: "Brother Kahlua didn't teach me anything. (lick)"

えひめ：「カルアにいから、な〜んにも教わってましぇんよ。（ペロッ）」

Kona: "He he♪"

コナ：「えへへ♪」

Kahlua: "......"

カルア：「‥‥」

Mommy: "I'm suspicious of you guys now. What are you three doing by the side of the house?" 

ママ：「なんだかみんな、あやしい。三頭でこんな家の横に来て、なにしてるの？」

Kahlua: "We are not doing anything."

カルア：「なにもしてないよ。」

Kahlua: "I just said 'Tomatoes have beautiful color, don't they?' and Ehime said 'Let me see.' "

カルア：「ぼくが、”トマト、きれいな色だね。”って言ったら、えひめが、”見せて”って言ったの。」

Mommy: "Then, why was Ehime licking her mouth?"

ママ：「じゃあ、どうしてひめたん、お口をなめてたの？」

Even if we didn't do the special things. Part 2 〜特別なことはしなくても パート２〜

Mommy: "Mmm? Oh! The snack peppers are growing back. How California!"

ママ：「ん？あっ！スナックペパーが、また育ってきた。さすがカリフォルニア！」

Ehime: "I'm already dirty, so maybe I can roll over one more tim..."

えひめ：「もうドロドロでしゅからね。なんならあともう一回ゴロゴロちて‥‥」

Mommy: "What!?"

ママ：「えっ！？」

Kona: "I didn't do anything wrong. I just rolled over once."

コナ：「ぼく、なんにも悪いことしてないよ。ちょっと一回ゴロゴロしただけ。」

Mommy: "Awww... How am I getting these burrs out from your tail..."

ママ：「あうう‥‥　コナくんのしっぽから、このくっつき虫、どうやって取りのぞけばいいのよ‥‥」 

Daddy: "I'm finishing flattering the rocks in 30 minutes."

パパ：「ぼくのほうは、あと30分で石を平らにする作業は終わるよ。」

Mommy: "Really? Then, I should start to wash dogs now."

ママ：「そう？じゃあ、そろそろ私は犬洗いを始めようかしら。」

Ehime: "?"

えひめ：「？」

Mommy: "Let's use the shampoo from Mrs. D."

ママ：「Dさんに頂いたシャンプーを使おう。」

Kona: "Let me see."

コナ：「見せて〜」

Daddy: "Honey! Come over here now! We have a visitor!"

パパ：「ママ〜！ちょっと来て〜！お客さんだよ〜！」

Mommy: "Visitor? Gya!!! A baby snake!"

ママ：「お客さん？ぎゃっ！！！へびの赤ちゃん！」

Daddy: "I was going to take him out of the fence, but he left by himself."

パパ：「フェンスの外に出してあげようと思ったけれど、自主的に出て行ったよ。」

Mommy: "I saw both a tarantula and a snake on the same day..."

ママ：「一日に、タランチュラとへびの両方を見てしまったわ‥‥」

Mommy: "Let's go back to the dog wash."

ママ：「さあ、犬洗いに戻ろう。」

Kona: "Mmm, the massage around the neck feels good♪"

コナ：「う〜ん、首回りのマッサージ、気持ちいい♪」

Ehime: "Are you going to do that, brother Kahlua?"

えひめ：「カルアにい、あれ、しゅるでしゅか？」

Kahlua: "That? Oh, that. OK. Please look. Three, two, one..."

カルア：「あれ？ああ、あれね。じゃあ、見ててよ。さん、に、いち‥‥」

Kahlua: "Kahlua's shaking hair♪"

カルア：「カルアのブルブルヘア〜♪」

Mommy: "Ahhh! Don't do it now!"

ママ：「あああ！今しないでよ〜！」 

My husband said that he had to go back to Home Depot to get more stuff to build the new patio. He also said he is going to feed cows and take trash out to the paved road, too. So after I washed three dogs, I started to shape the bread dough and feed dogs.

主人は、新しいパティオ作りに必要な材料を買いに、またホームディーポ（ホームセンターのようなところ）に行くと言いました。牛たちのごはんと、ゴミ缶を舗装道路まで持っていくのもすると言ってくれました。それで私は、三頭の犬洗いのあと、パン生地の成形をして、犬たちにごはんをあげることにしました。

Mommy: "The dough looks kind of wet."

ママ：「生地は、ちょっとウェットな感じがするわ。」

Ehime: "Are you going to bake them now?"

えひめ：「今、焼くでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Not right now. I need to wait for them to rise."

ママ：「今じゃないよ。膨らむのを待たなくちゃ。」

At night, all the errands are done. And... My first artisan bread is done, too♪

夜、すべての用事が終わりました。そして‥‥　私の初アーティサンブレッドも焼き上がりました♪

Daddy: "Oh, my goodness! They look soooooo good!"

パパ：「わあ、すごいじゃない！パン、ホント〜〜〜においしそう！」

Mommy: "I'm making Banh Mi sandwiches with the artisan bread for dinner tonight."

ママ：「今夜はこのアーティサンブレッドを使って、晩ごはんにバインミーサンドイッチを作るわね。」

Daddy: "Oh! That's the popular Vietnam sandwich in town, isn't it?"

パパ：「ああ！ちまたで有名な、ベトナムのサンドイッチだね。」

Ehime: "Umm..."

えひめ：「あの‥‥」

Ehime: "We are here to taste the artisan bread."

えひめ：「アーティサンブレッドの味見にやって来た者でしゅが。」

Kahlua: "Please give us the pieces you have in your hand."

カルア：「その手に持っている物を、我らに授けたもう。」

Mommy: "Oh, these?"

ママ：「ああ、これ？」

Mommy: "The one who gets this piece won't request the biscuits at 2:30pm every day. Are you the one?"

ママ：「これを得る者は、毎日午後２時半に、ビスケットの要求をしない者である。そなたはその者か？」

Ehime: "...... I'm not the one, but I want to eat the piece."

えひめ：「‥‥　しょの者ではありましぇんが、しょれ食べたい。」

Kahlua: "Can I eat this Banh Mi sandwich?"

カルア：「このバインミーサンドイッチ、食べてもいい？」

Daddy: "No! That's my dinner. And I want to take another one for my lunch tomorrow♪"

パパ：「ダメ！それは、パパの晩ごはん。それから明日のランチも、このサンドイッチを持って行きたい♪」

Monday　月曜日

Mommy: "Mmm? Is that the hay that fell from the Kubota utility car?"

ママ：「ん？あれは、クボタのユーティリティーカーから落ちた干し草？」

Mommy: "Oh, my! They are growing back here!"

ママ：「なんてこと！こんなところで草が育ってる！」

Chicken A: "Why don't we go to that tasty grass area after the sand bathing?"

にわとりA：「ねえ、砂風呂のあと、あのおいしい草のところに行かない？」

Chicken B: "That's a fancy grass cafe for chickens they built recently. Yeah. Let's go♪"

にわとりB：「あの最近できた、にわとり用のオシャレな草カフェね。うん。ぜひ行きましょう♪」
