Overnight 〜一夜にして〜

Yesterday　昨日

Ehime: "Beautiful flowers♪"

えひめ：「きれいなお花♪」

Mommy: "Aren't they? They are almond flowers."

ママ：「ね〜　アーモンドのお花よ。」

Kahlua: "Oh! What good looking carrots!"

カルア：「あっ！なんて形のいいニンジン！」

Mommy: "These are the carrots that I seeded last September. Let's eat them tonight."

ママ：「昨年の９月に種まきしたニンジンよ。今夜食べようね。」

Kahlua: "Not now?"

カルア：「今じゃなくて？」

Mommy: "Who walked on the new patio to be?"

ママ：「新しくパティオになるところを歩いたの、だれ〜？」

Kona: "Let's hide behind the orange tree..."

コナ：「オレンジの木の後ろに隠れよう‥‥」

Mommy: "Your body is bigger than the tree. I can see you."

ママ：「コナくんの体、木より大きいんだから。見えてるよ。」

Kona: "Oh, you found me."

コナ：「あっ、見つかっちゃった。」

Mommy: "Mmm? When I see closely, orange flowers started to bloom. How pretty♪" 

ママ：「ん？よく見て見たら、オレンジのお花が咲いてきてる。かわいい♪」

Ehime: "Cats might go through here. I'm so suspicious."

えひめ：「ここ、ネコしゃんが通ったかも。あやちい。」

It was a beautiful spring day yesterday. But it didn't last a long time. The weather changed overnight. Dogs and I went for a walk in the morning, but the rain got harder. So we u-turned in the middle of the street, and came back home quickly. 

昨日は、ステキな春の日でした。ですが、それは長く続きませんでした。お天気が、一夜にして変わりました。犬たちと私は、朝のお散歩に出かけましたが、雨が強く降ってきました。それで私たちは、道の途中でUターンして、ささっと家に帰ってきました。

Today　今日

Kona: "Is it still raining?"

コナ：「まだ雨、降ってる？」

Kahlua: "Not as much as this morning."

カルア：「今朝ほどじゃないよ。」

Kona: "Then, let's go pee-wee."

コナ：「じゃあ、チッチしようっと。」

Kahlua: "I normally bark at chickens around this time."

カルア：「ぼく、だいたいいつもこの時間に、にわとりさんたちに向かって吠えるんだけど。」

Mommy: "They are at the chicken run now. But I'm sure they are going back to the coop soon. It's raining a little bit."

ママ：「今は、チキンランに出てるけどね。すぐ小屋に戻ってしまうんじゃないかな。ちょっと雨が降ってるから。」

Ehime: "The onions you planted earlier this week seem to be doing OK."

えひめ：「今週初めにママが植えた玉ねぎ、大丈夫みたいでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "I'm glad."

ママ：「よかったわ。」

Ehime: "I think you should plant more carrots instead of onions."

えひめ：「玉ねぎより、ニンジンをもっとたくさん植えた方がいいと思いましゅけど。」

Kahlua: "I think you should plant more tomatoes."

カルア：「ぼくは、トマトをもっと植えた方がいいと思います。」

Kona: "Time for dry apples?"

コナ：「干しリンゴの時間？」

Ehime: "Yay!"

えひめ：「やった〜！」

Mommy: "We don't have many fun things on a rainy day. At least you want to have your favorite food, right?"

ママ：「雨の日は、あんまり楽しいことがないからね。少なくても、大好きな食べ物は食べたいでしょう？」

Mommy: "A good thing on a rainy day is I can have more time to practice my crochet."

ママ：「雨の日のいいことと言えば、かぎ針編みの練習の時間が取れることかな。」
