Sunny after the rain 〜雨のち晴れ〜

Mommy: "The rainbow is there. Let's drive to the paved road today. It might be raining soon."

ママ：「虹が出てる。今日は、舗装道路まで運転して行こう。すぐに雨になるかもね。」

Kona: "We are walking on the paved road today."

コナ：「今日は、舗装道路でお散歩だね。」

Ehime: "The rain has started already."

えひめ：「もう雨が降ってきまちた。」

Kahlua: "I guess the paved road is easier to walk on on a rainy day like this."

カルア：「まあ、こういう雨の日は、舗装道路の方が歩きやすいね。」

Mommy: "Look. Cows came back to this property."

ママ：「見て。この敷地に、牛たちが戻ってきたよ。」

Kona: "I remember they had some cows last spring, too."

コナ：「昨年の春も、牛たちが何頭かいたよね。」

Ehime: "It's spring now."

えひめ：「春でしゅね〜」

At home　おうち

Chicken A: "I'm glad the rain has stopped."

にわとりA：「雨が止んで、よかったわ〜」

Mommy: "But this good weather doesn't last a long time. Please eat treats and do some exercise while the rain is stopped."

ママ：「でも、このいいお天気は長く続かないのよ。雨が止んでいる間に、おやつを食べて運動もしちゃってね。」

Chicken B: "Oh? The table grape vines started to have leaves♪"

にわとりB：「あら？食卓用のぶどうの木、葉っぱが出てきたわよ♪」

Mommy: "No, no! Please don't eat this. You can peck the ground instead."

ママ：「ダメダメ！これは食べないで。代わりに、地面をツンツンしてね。」

Mommy: "Oh, no. The bad clouds came in. I should take dogs for bathroom one more time before the rain starts."

ママ：「あら、大変。あやしい雲が出てきたわ。雨が降り始める前に、犬たちをもう一度トイレに出さなくっちゃ。」

Ehime: "Umm... It's a little raining."

えひめ：「あの‥‥　ちょっと雨が降ってるんでしゅけど。」

Mommy: "I know. Please go pee-wee if you can."

ママ：「そうね。できれば、チッチしてきて。」

Today　今日

Ehime: "It's not raining today."

えひめ：「今日、雨が降ってない。」

Kahlua: "It's a crisp spring morning."

カルア：「さわやかな春の朝だ。」

Mommy: "Wait a second! Whose footprints are these???"

ママ：「ちょっと待って！この足あと、だれの？？？」

Kahlua: "It's too big for deer. It might be a wild boar."

カルア：「シカにしては大きすぎるな。イノシシかも。」

Mommy: "What!?"

ママ：「えっ！？」

Ehime: "Yeah. I smell some other animals here."

えひめ：「うん。ここ、なんか動物のにおいがしゅる。」

Kona: "I don't want to deal with a wild boar. Let's go."

コナ：「イノシシに対抗したくないよ。行こう。」

Kona: "The sun is going behind the cloud."

コナ：「太陽が雲で隠れちゃう。」

Mommy: "But it's not going to be raining today for sure."

ママ：「でも、今日は雨にはならないよ。」

Mommy: "Now, let's wash your paws."

ママ：「さあ、みんなの足を洗おう。」

Kona: "Mmm..."

コナ：「う〜ん‥‥」

Kona: "Thank you♪"

コナ：「ありがと♪」

Mommy: "Oh!"

ママ：「あっ！」

Ehime: "Brother Kona is drinking the water."

えひめ：「コナにい、お水を飲んじゃった。」

Spring arrives in the vineyard with bud break. Our vines are showing the first signs of growth that will turn into the 2017 vintage.

発芽と共に、ぶどう園に春がやってきました。ぶどうの木たちは、2017年の収穫に向けて、最初の成長を見せてくれています。
