It's Sunday! 〜日曜日です！〜

Mommy: "It's Sunday♪ We should make pancakes this morning."

ママ：「日曜日♪　今朝はパンケーキを作ろうよ。」

Kona: "So, who's making pancakes?"

コナ：「それで、誰がパンケーキを作るって？」

Mommy: "Of course, daddy♥"

ママ：「もちろん、パパ♥」

Daddy: "I'll do my best."

パパ：「がんばります。」

Mommy: "I'm making strawberry & blueberry smoothie to go with pancakes."

ママ：「パンケーキを食べるときに飲めるように、ストロベリー＆ブルーベリーのスムージーを作ろうっと。」

Ehime: "Please give me one piece of ice cube♪"

えひめ：「アイスキューブ、一個くだしゃ〜い♪」

Mommy: "Pancakes look delicious, darling. Thank you so much♪"

ママ：「パンケーキおいしそう、パパ。ありがとね♪」

Daddy: "You're welcome."

パパ：「どういたしまして。」

Ehime: "We are the main characters today, brothers. Let's act like that, OK?"

えひめ：「にいたまたち、今日はわたちたちが主役でしゅからね。そのつもりで行動ちてくだしゃいね。」

Kona: "OK."　コナ：「わかった。」

Kahlua: "How?"　カルア：「どうやって？」

Ehime: "Yaaay! Run, run, run! We got the main character back today! Are you acting like main characters, brothers?"

えひめ：「イエーイ！走って、走って、走って！今日は主役の座、取り戻ちまちたよ！にいたまたち、ちゃんと主役らちく振る舞ってましゅか？」

Kahlua: "......(grazing)"

カルア：「‥‥（放牧）」

Kona: "Kahlua is acting more like a cow, Ehime."

コナ：「ひめたん、カルアくんはどちらかと言えば、牛みたいだけど。」

Ehime: "Oh, no! (collapse)"

えひめ：「ダメだ、こりゃ！（ドテッ）」

Who gets a main character!? 〜主役は誰の手に！？〜

Because I couldn't walk Leo & Sophie yesterday, I was anxious to see how they were doing. When I visited them, both of them were happy to see me.

昨日レオくんとソフィちゃんのお散歩に行けなかったので、ふたりがどうしているかとても気になっていました。 今日訪ねてみると、ふたりとも私を見てとても喜んでくれました。

Sophie: "Oh, my! We forgot."

ソフィ：「あら、大変！忘れちゃったわ。」

Mommy: "What happened?"

ママ：「どうしたの？」

Sophie: "We forgot to visit your house!"

ソフィ：「コナママさんのおうちにお邪魔するの、忘れちゃった！」

Mommy: "Sorry, Sophie. Not today."

ママ：「ソフィちゃん、ごめんね。また今度ね。」

Sophie: "When, exactly? Should I go on a sit-down as usual again?"

ソフィ：「今度っていつですか？またいつものように、座り込みをしたほうがいいかしら？」

※ Sophie often sits down in front of my house because she likes to go see my dogs...

※ ソフィちゃんはうちの犬たちに会いたくて、よく私の家の前で座り込みをします‥‥

Leo: "Sophie gave a trouble to you."

レオ：「ソフィがコナママさんにご迷惑をおかけしたみたいで。」

Leo: "Thank you so much for taking care of her all the time."

レオ：「本当にいつもお世話になります。」

Mommy: "What a good brother!"

ママ：「あら、いいお兄ちゃんね〜！」

It's Saturday! My husband and I wanted to do something fun in addition to house errands. We went to the garden store that we never been before. Amazingly, there were some animals in this garden store!

土曜日です！家の用事をしなければいけませんでしたが、主人と私はちょっと楽しいことをしてみたいと思いました。それで、今まで行ったことのないガーデンストアに行きました。驚いたことに、このガーデンストアには動物がいたのです！

Daddy: "How's your life going here, Birdie?"

パパ：「鳥さん、ここでの暮らしはいかがですか？」

Birdie: "#$^*$#@#%&*# (I'm liking this place.)"

鳥さん：「#$^*$#@#%&*# （なかなかいいです）」

Mommy: "Oh, my gosh! They reminded me of my turtle, Kameko that I used to have in Japan!"

ママ：「ああ、カメさん！私が日本で飼っていたカメのカメ子を思いだすわ〜！」

Mommy: "Darling, look! I found a cockatoo from Australia. He is the same kind of birds as the one who stole the sausage when I was having BBQ with my school friends."

ママ：「パパ、見て！オーストラリアのおうむよ。私がオーストラリアで学校のお友達とバーベキューをしていたときに、ソーセージを盗んだ子と同じ種類の子。」

Daddy: "Are you still holding the grudge?"

パパ：「まだ根に持ってるの？」

Daddy: "Honey, you've got to see this. These are the grapes to make wine♪"

パパ：「ママ、これは絶対に見なきゃいけないよ。ワインを作るためのぶどう♪」

Mommy: "Cute♥ Look at these! They are baby grapes already!"

ママ：「かわいい〜♥　見て、これ！もう赤ちゃんのぶどうが生まれてる！」

Another Birdie: "Hello, Hello."

別の鳥：「ハロー、ハロー」

Daddy: "Oh, he spoke! Let's take a picture of him."

パパ：「あっ、しゃべった！写真撮っとこうっと。」

Ehime: "So, everyone. We who are supposed to be the main characters on this blog didn't have a chance to talk much today. Can you please come back and see us tomorrow? We are getting the main characters back by then!"

えひめ：「しょれで、皆様。このブログで主人公であるはずのわたちたちが、今日はあまりしゃべるチャンスがありましぇんでちた。明日もまた遊びに来てくれましぇんか？きっと主役の座を取り戻ちましゅから！」

Las Vegasans are not used to the rain 〜雨に慣れていないラスベガス人〜

Daddy: "Are you OK with walking in the rain, Kona & Kahlua?"

パパ：「コナ、カルア。雨の中を歩くの、大丈夫？」

Kona: "I'm fine."　コナ：「大丈夫。」

Kahlua: "I'm used to it because I was living in Seattle."

カルア：「シアトルに住んでたから、こういうの慣れてるよ。」

Ehime: "Daddy! I'm a pure Las Vegasan! I don't know how to walk in the rain. Please wait!"

えひめ：「パパ〜！わたちは生粋のラスベガスっ子でしゅよ！雨の中、どうやって歩いたらいいんでしゅか。待ってくだしゃ〜い！」

Las Vegas has sunny days for over 300 days out of 365 days. People are not used to how to drive in the rain. My husband and I went to my doctor appointment this afternoon. On the way back home, there were some ponds we had to drive through.

ラスベガスは、365日中300日以上は晴れです。みんな雨の日の運転に慣れていません。主人と私は今日の午後、私のお医者さんの予約に行きました。帰る途中、大きな水たまりをいくつか越えなければいけませんでした。

Mommy: "Please watch out, darling."

ママ：「パパ、気をつけてね。」

Daddy: "I know."

パパ：「わかってる。」

Mommy: "Oh, no. There is a car accident in front of us."

ママ：「あっ、あそこ。車の事故があったみたい。」

Daddy: "Ambulance has come. I hope it's not a bad accident."

パパ：「救急車も来たね。ひどい事故じゃなければいいけど。」

We came back home safely. Doggies welcomed us. Speaking of doggies, I recently found out Kona's teeth are becoming whiter because of chewing bones more often than before. So I decided to let them chew bones again instead of afternoon walk today.

無事に帰宅しました。犬たちも歓迎してくれました。犬たちと言えば、最近コナの歯が白くなってきていることに気づきました。以前より頻繁にカミカミをしているからだと思います。それで、今日は午後のお散歩の代わりに、カミカミをしてもらうことにしました。

Kona: "Ehime is not going to take my bone, isn't she?"

コナ：「ひめたんにカミカミ、取られないかな？」

Mommy: "It's OK. She is outside of the room."

ママ：「大丈夫よ。ひめたんはお部屋の外にいるから。」

Mommy: "Oh, wow! You two are chewing together? That's an interesting two-shot."

ママ：「あら！ふたりで一緒にカミカミしてるの？おもしろいツーショットね〜」

Gust! Let's make roasted peanuts with curry flavor. 〜突風！カレー味のローストピーナッツを作ろう〜

Mommy: "Very cloudy and windy now."

ママ：「曇ってるし風があるね。」

Daddy: "Look at those thick clouds. It's going to be raining soon."

パパ：「あの分厚い雲を見て。もうすぐ雨になるよ。」

Right after my husband predicted, the rain started. We still walked some around the park with our dogs, and went back to the house.

主人が予想してすぐ、雨が降り出しました。それでも私たちは犬たちと一緒に公園のまわりをしばらく歩いてから、家に帰りました。

What a busy morning today! After I finished my doctor appointment, I walked with Sophie and Leo.

今朝は忙しかった！お医者さんの予約が終わってから、私はソフィちゃんとレオくんのお散歩に行きました。

Sophie: "I wonder if it's a good day for me today. Not only the strong wind is here, but also my favorite lamb biscuit is on my head and I don't know how to eat it..."

ソフィ：「今日は私にとってもいい日じゃないかも。だって、突風がふいているだけならまだしも、大好きなラム肉のビスケットが頭の上にあって、どうやって食べればいいのかわからないんですもの。。。」

Leo: "He he♪ I found a tennis ball at the park♥"

レオ：「えへへ♪　公園でテニスボールを見つけちゃった♥」

In the afternoon　午後

Kona: "Still strong wind outside. I guess we are not going out this afternoon."

コナ：「お外はまだ突風がふいてるな。午後はきっと、お出かけしないんだろうな〜」

Ehime: "Then, what are we doing, mommy?"

えひめ：「じゃあ、なにをしゅるでしゅか、ママ？」

Mommy: "Let's see. First, let's do training."

ママ：「そうね〜　じゃあまず、トレーニングから。」

Kahlua: "Um, Mommy. Kona is dropping his saliva again."

カルア：「あの、ママ。コナがまたよだれをこぼしてるよ。」

Ehime: "Then, treadmill, isn't it?"

えひめ：「しょれからトレッドミルでしゅね？」

Mommy: "You know me too well, Ehime."

ママ：「さすがひめたん、よくわかるわね〜」

The bad weather is not fun. So after giving some exercise to doggies, I decided to roast peanuts with curry & garlic flavor.

悪天候の日は、なかなか楽しい気持ちになれません。それで犬たちの運動が終わったあと、カレー＆ガーリック味のローストピーナッツを作ることにしました。

Ehime: "Something smells so good♪"

えひめ：「なんか、しゅごくいいにおいがちてきまちた♪」

Mommy: "Let's put some peanuts and curry powder mix into the melted butter. About 14min bake in the oven♪"

ママ：「溶かしたバターに、カレーパウダーなどを混ぜたものとピーナッツを入れて、と。オーブンで14分焼いたら出来上がり♪」

Kona: "There, there, good girl. I hold your hand, so take a nap for a little while, OK?"

コナ：「よし、よし、いい子だね〜　ひめたんのお手て握っててあげるから、ちょっとお昼寝するんだよ。」

Ehime: "OK."

えひめ：「あい。」

Mommy: "Yay, they are done! Mmm, the smell is awesome♥"

ママ：「やった〜、できた！ん〜、このにおい、最高♥」

Mommy: "We should take some to daddy, right, Kahlua?"

ママ：「パパにもちょっと持っていってあげようっか、カルアくん。」

Kahlua: "Zzzz...."

カルア：「Zzzz....」
