Citronella for preventing bugs 〜防虫予防にシトロネラ〜

Ehime: "Mommy is carrying something to the bedroom."

えひめ：「ママが、ベッドルームになにかを持っていこうとちてる。」

Mommy: "This is a very important thing."

ママ：「これは、とっても重要なものよ。」

Kahlua: "What is it?"

カルア：「それ、なに？」

Mommy: "It's a citronella candle. My ear was bitten by a bug somewhere a few days ago, and it's very itchy."

ママ：「シトロネラのキャンドルよ。ママね、数日前にどこかで虫に耳を噛まれたの。結構かゆいのよね。」

Mommy: "I don't know why, but bugs love me so much, but I don't love them. So I want to try to light the citronella candle in the bedroom until we go to bed tonight. Bugs hate the smell of citronella."

ママ：「なぜだかわからないけれど、ママ、虫にはとっても好かれるのよ。ママは嫌なんだけど。だから今夜、寝るまでベッドルームでシトロネラのキャンドルに火をつけようと思ってね。虫は、シトロネラのにおいが嫌いだから。」

Kahlua: "This doesn't smell good."

カルア：「これ、いいにおいじゃないな。」

Ehime: "Is it something dogs hate, too?"

えひめ：「しょれ、犬も嫌いなものでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Citronella is supposed to be safe for dogs. Remember we normally burn the lemongrass incense?"

ママ：「シトロネラは、犬にも安全よ。ほら、いつもレモングラスのお香を焚いてるでしょう？」

Mommy: "Citronella probably works better to prevent bugs."

ママ：「多分シトロネラの方が、虫除けには効果があるのよ。」

Mommy: "And the candle seems a little romantic, don't you think?"

ママ：「それに、キャンドルはちょっとロマンチックよね。そう思わない？」

Ehime: "Speaking of which..."

えひめ：「ロマンチックと言えば‥‥」

Ehime: "I miss my boyfriend, Jack."

えひめ：「ボーイフレンドのジャックくんが恋ちい。」

Kahlua: "It's better if you have a boyfriend. Look at me. I've been working so hard poking everybody, but no girls want to go on a date wth me."

カルア：「ボーイフレンドがいるなら、まだいいよ。ぼくなんて、一生懸命みんなのことをつついているのに、女の子は誰もぼくとデートしたがらないんだもの。」

Ehime: "That's because you poke with your nose."

えひめ：「しょれは、にいたまがお鼻でツンツンしゅるからでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "I'm taking a shower now. I'm looking forward to using the shea butter soap from Portugal soon."

 ママ：「さあ、シャワーしようっと。もうすぐポルトガル製のシアバターのソープを使うの、楽しみだわ〜」

Today　今日

Mommy: "These days, the temperature doesn't go down too much. I'm glad the grapes are growing well♪"

ママ：「最近は、気温が急激に下がったりしないから、ぶどうがよく育ってうれしいわ♪」
