Morning surprise 〜朝のサプライズ〜

Daddy: "Oh, Ehime is grazing over there."

パパ：「あれ？えひめがあんなところで放牧してる。」

Daddy: "Mmm? She looks a little different from Ehime..."

パパ：「ん？ちょっとえひめとは違うような。。。」

Ehime: "Umm... I'm here."

えひめ：「あの‥‥　わたち、ここでしゅよ。」

Daddy: "Oh, my mistake."

パパ：「あ、パパ、間違えたよ。」

When we got back home from the morning walk, there were two packages in front of our house.

朝のお散歩から帰ると、家の前に二つのパッケージが置いてありました。

Kona: "What was in the packages?"

コナ：「パッケージの中、なんだった？」

Daddy: "It's a bottle of wine. I wonder who this is from."

パパ：「ワインだ。誰からだろう。」

Daddy: "One more is a cooking book."

パパ：「もうひとつは、料理の本だよ。」

Mommy: "Thomas Keller... Oh! This is a cooking book that our general contractor was talking about! This is a famous French dish chef in Napa, California. He has two restaurants with Michelin three stars."

ママ：「トーマス・ケラー‥‥　あっ！これ、私たちのジェネラルコントラクターさんが話していたお料理の本だ！この人ね、カリフォルニア州のナパで有名な、フランス料理のシェフなんだって。ミシュラン三ツ星を獲得したレストランを、二つも持ってるのよ。」

Later, we found out his wife actually dropped off these wonderful surprises at our house this morning. My husband and I were so happy about the fact we got to know another nice family in this country.

このあと実は、ジェネラルコントラクターさんの奥さんが今朝我が家までこの素晴らしいサプライズを持ってきてくれたことを知ります。主人と私は、このいなかで、またステキなご家族に出会えたことを幸せに思いました。

Kona: "Let's have a lonely drinking party here."

コナ：「ここで、ひとりぼっちの飲み会しようっと。」

Kona: "Did you get a delivery again, Kahlua?"

コナ：「カルアくん、またデリバリーをしてもらったの？」

Kahlua: "Yes. Senior citizen special right♪"

カルア：「うん。シニア市民の特権♪」

Mommy: "Sorry for changing the subject, but you really look like a bunny to me, Ehime."

ママ：「話を変えて悪いんだけれど、ひめたん、本当にうさぎさんに似てるね〜」

Ehime: "No one says that except you."

えひめ：「ママ以外の人には言われないでしゅけど。」

Mommy: "Now, I'm getting ready for making cosmetics. This is going to be the rose lotion in 3-4 weeks that has good effects for anti-aging and improving dry skin."

ママ：「さあ、お化粧品作りの準備をしなくっちゃ。これは、３〜４週間後には、ローズローションになるもの。老化防止やドライスキンを改善する効果があるのよ。」

Ehime: "Who are you talking to?"

えひめ：「誰にしゃべってるでしゅか？」

Lunch time　ランチタイム

Daddy: "What a surprise! You cooked a lot of eggs for lunch."

パパ：「わあ、びっくり！ランチにたくさん卵を調理したんだね〜」

Mommy: "We get 3-4 new eggs every day..."

ママ：「毎日３−４個、新しい卵がやって来るもので‥‥」
