It's OK to have fun some time, isn't it? 〜たまには楽しいことがあってもいいよね〜

Saturday afternoon　土曜日の午後

Mommy: "How's the TV show, Dog Whisperer, Ehime?"

ママ：「ひめたん、テレビ番組のドッグウィスパラー、おもしろい？」

Ehime: "Great. He is a mix of Lab and Pit bull. He gets aggressive to small animals, but Cesar Millan is rehabilitating him and training his owners."

えひめ：「おもちろいでしゅよ。あの子は、ラブラドールとピットブルのミックスなんでしゅよ。小動物に攻撃的になってしまうんでしゅけど、シーザーミランがあの子をリハビリちて、飼い主さんのことをトレーニングちてるんでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "Daddy bought some chewy bones for you guys. Would you like to eat?"

ママ：「パパがね、みんなにカミカミを買ってきてくれたの。食べる？」

Everyone: "Yes!"　みんな：「はい！」 

Mommy: "Umm... Ehime? That'll be great if you clean up the carpet, too."

ママ：「あの‥‥　ひめたん？カーペットに落ちた粉々もきれいにしてくれるとうれしいんだけど。」

Ehime: "I'll do it later."

えひめ：「あとでちましゅよ。」

Mommy: "Kona? Can you clean up the rug later?"

ママ：「コナくん？あとで、じゅうたんもきれいにしてくれる？」

Kona: "That's Ehime's job."

コナ：「それは、ひめたんの仕事なの。」

Mommy: "Darling? Doggies are having a bone party. Why don't we open our version of Izakaya with a glass of wine?"

ママ：「パパ？犬たちがカミカミパーティしているから、私たちも我が家の居酒屋パーティしない？グラス一杯のワインで。」

Daddy: "That sounds good. Are you going to make an hors d'oeuvre?"

パパ：「いいね〜　ママ、オードブル作ってくれる？」 

Mommy: "Yes. We have some salmon and chicken, too."

ママ：「うん。サーモンとチキンもあるよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, my plate is full♪"

ママ：「ああ、お皿いっぱいになった♪」

Kona: "Bones were delicious♪"

コナ：「カミカミ、おいしかった♪」


Ehime: "I'm sleepy..."

えひめ：「眠くなりまちた‥‥」

Sunday afternoon　日曜日午後

Ehime: "Swimming was fun today♪ Can I take a nap on your lap?"

えひめ：「今日のスイミング、楽ちかった♪　ママのおひざでお昼寝ちてもいいでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Sure. I'll take a nap on Kona's butt."

ママ：「いいよ。じゃ、ママはコナくんのおしりでお昼寝しようかな。」

When we were watching TV in the family room tonight, we suddenly heard some noise from outside. When we went out to the backyard, there were fireworks somewhere.

夜、ファミリールームでテレビを見ていると、突然外から音が聞こえてきました。裏庭に出てみると、どこかで花火が上がっていました。

Mommy: "Wow, what kind of special occasion is this? I've never thought we can see the fireworks again from this house!"

ママ：「わあ〜、これ、なんの特別行事？この家からまた花火が見られるなんて、思ってもみなかった！」

Daddy: "Las Vegas is a fun city, isn't it? Maybe they are doing this to cheer us up. I'm joking♪"

パパ：「ラスベガスっておもしろいよね〜　これ、ぼくたちを元気づけるためにしてくれてるんじゃない？あ、冗談です♪」
