Ehime: "The morning walk was fun, wasn't it, brother Kona?"

えひめ：「コナにい。朝のお散歩、楽ちかったでしゅね〜」

Kona: "Yes, it was. It was a little warm, but not too bad."

コナ：「うん、楽しかった。ちょっと暑かったけど、悪くなかったね。」

Daddy: "Oh, my. This is interesting. Sunny is still drinking milk from Happy."

パパ：「わあ、これは興味深い。サニーが、いまだんハッピーのミルクを飲んでるよ。」

Mommy: "What!? One year and three months old Sunny is still drinking milk from her mommy? Are you kidding?"

ママ：「えっ！？　1歳３ヶ月のサニーが、いまだにお母さんのミルクを飲んでるって？　冗談でしょう？」

Daddy: "No, I'm not kidding. Look."

パパ：「ううん。冗談じゃないよ。見て。」

Mommy: "Oh, no! No wonder Sunny looks so chubby and Happy looks so boney."

ママ：「あら、やだ！どおりで、サニーちゃんがぽっちゃりしていて、ハッピーちゃんが痩せているはずだわ〜」

Ehime: "Is Sunny still drinking milk from her mommy? What a baby she is!"

えひめ：「サニーちゃん、まだお母しゃんのミルクを飲んでるでしゅか？赤ちゃんでしゅね〜」

Kona: "Ahaha. That's funny you say that. Because seven-year-old Ehime still chases after a lizard and digs a hole like every day."

コナ：「あはは。ひめたんがそれを言うのは、笑える〜　だって7歳のひめたんは、いまだに毎日のようにトカゲを追いかけて、穴掘りしてるんだもの。」

Ehime: "Awww..."

えひめ：「あううう‥‥」

Mommy: "Oh, no! You two did it again!"

ママ：「あら、やだ！ふたり、またやったの！？」

Kona: "Well, there was a gopher hole, so we just made it bigger for them."

コナ：「だって、ここにジリスさんの穴があったから、ふたりでその穴を大きくしてあげたの。」

Ehime: "I had nothing to do with it. Brother Kona did it."

えひめ：「わたちは関係ないでしゅよ〜　コナにいがやったでしゅよ〜」

Mommy: "Then, why are your feet kind of dirty?"

ママ：「じゃあ、なんで足がちょっと汚れてるの？」

Ehime: "Oh, did you find out? He he. I dug the hole mainly again♪"

えひめ：「あ、バレまちたか？　えへへ。わたちが主に、穴掘りちまちた♪」

Mommy: "No offense at all, you look like."

ママ：「まったく悪気はないって感じね。」

I'm a pet-sitter this weekend. 〜今週末は、ペットシッター〜

Mommy: "This weekend, I'm cat & cow-sitting for Happy's foster mommy. I filled the water in the container, put the grain in the bucket and put the hay down on the ground."

ママ：「今週末は、ハッピーちゃんの里親ママさんのために、ネコと牛のシッターをするのよね。コンテイナーにお水は入れたし、バケツに穀物も入れたし、地面に干し草も置いた、と。」

Mommy: "Aren't you coming here to eat, Cheer?"

ママ：「チアちゃん、こっちに食べに来ないの？」

Cheer: "I'm going to eat when nobody is there."

チア：「誰もいなくなったら食べる〜」

Mommy: "Oh, OK. I'll come check on you later."

ママ：「あら、そう。あとでまたチェックしに来るわね。」

Mommy: "I put the fresh water in the bowl and put the dry cat food in the different bowl. A little treat and wet food are ready. Oh, hi, a cat. Where is the other one?"

ママ：「新鮮なお水はボールに入れたし、別のボールにネコ用ドライフードも入れたし。おやつとウェットフードの準備もできた。あら、ネコさん。もう一匹は？」

A cat: "I don't know. She likes to hide from humans."

ネコ：「知らな〜い。あの子は、人間から隠れるのが好きなのよ。」

On the way back home　おうちに帰る途中

Mommy: "Are you doing OK, Cheer?"

ママ：「チアちゃん、大丈夫？」

Cheer: "Yes. I ate my grain already. I'm now working on the hay."

チア：「うん。もう穀物は食べた。今は、干し草を食べているところ。」

Mommy: "Good. Have a great day♪"

ママ：「よかった。じゃあ、いい1日を♪」

At home　おうち

Mommy: "I'm home. Mmm? Are you sleeping in the middle of the room again, Ehime?"

ママ：「ただいま〜　ひめたん、またお部屋の真ん中で寝てるの？」

Ehime: "I dug a hole this morning. I'm tired."

えひめ：「今朝穴掘りちまちたから、疲れたんでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "You did it again?"

ママ：「またやったの？」

Kona: "Welcome back home, mommy. I'm going to take a nap here."

コナ：「ママ、おかえり。ぼくは、ここでお昼寝するから。」

Mommy: "Oh, OK. I'll be quiet then."

ママ：「あら、そう。じゃあ、ママ、静かにするわね。」

Seven-year-old, Ehime 〜えひめ7歳〜

Ehime was born on June 19th, seven years ago. We met her when she was only six weeks old. She was a tiny and adorable puppy. 

えひめは、7年前の6月19日に生まれました。私たちがえひめに出会ったのは、まだ生まれて６週間の時でした。えひめは小さくて、愛らしいパピーでした。

Ehime seemed to learn her name quickly, and we bonded with her even more quickly. She made some mistakes here and there, but she grew up nicely and beautifuly.  

えひめは、自分の名前を覚えるのが早いように見えました。そして私たちはそれ以上早く、えひめにつながりを感じました。えひめはあちらこちらで間違いをしましたが、良い子に育ち、美しい子になりました。

She just... decided to stay young mentally...

ただ‥‥　精神的にずっと若いままでいることにしたようです‥‥

Ehime: "I chose to dig a hole with brother Kona as my birthday activity. He he♪"

えひめ：「お誕生日のアクティビティとちて、コナにいと穴掘りしゅることにちまちた。えへへ♪」

Kona: "We are working together. He he♪"

コナ：「一緒にがんばってるの。えへへ♪」

Ehime: "We worked hard today, so I'm getting sleepy now."

えひめ：「今日一生懸命がんばったから、だんだん眠くなってきまちた。」

Kona: "Then, should we fall asleep?"

コナ：「じゃあ、寝る？」

Ehime: "One more thing before we call it a night! (lick)"

えひめ：「夜が終わる前に、もうひとつ！（ペロッ）」

Kona: "Mgyuuu....."

コナ：「ムギュ‥‥」

Life without fun is not exciting. 〜楽しみのない人生は、ワクワクしない〜

Sunny: "Hey. Don't you think she found out?"

サニー：「ねえ、見つかっちゃったんじゃない？」

Happy: "Shhhhhhh!"

ハッピー：「シーーーーーッ！」

Serene: "I don't know anything."

セリーン：「ぼく、何にも知らない。」

Mommy: "Oh! Not again!"

ママ：「あっ！また！」

Mommy: "I wonder why Jerseys always put the hose inside of the trough. Are they playing with the hose?"

ママ：「ジャージー牛さんたち、どうしていつも水桶の中にホースを入れちゃうのかしら。ホースで遊んでる？」

Sunny: "What are we going to do, brother? She found it."

サニー：「にいさん、どうする？見つかっちゃったよ。」

Serene: "I have nothing to do with it."

セリーン：「ぼくは、なんの関係もありません。」

Sunny: "Mother?"

サニー：「母さん？」

Happy: "Don't worry. Just pretend you don't know anything about the hose."

ハッピー：「心配しないで。ホースについては、何も知らないフリをしなさい。」

Mommy: "I know you all work together."

ママ：「三頭でやったってことは、バレてるわよ。」

Ehime: "Ahaha. Life without fun is not exciting. You need to make yourself enjoy."

えひめ：「あはは。楽しみのない人生なんて、ワクワクちないでしゅからね。自分を楽しませなきゃ。」

Ehime: "Right, brother Kona?"

えひめ：「ね。コナにい？」

Mommy: "Ha! Where is Kona???"

ママ：「はっ！　コナくんはどこ？？？」

 Kona: "I'm thinking deeply..."

コナ：「ぼくは、深く考えているところです‥‥」

Kona: "I feel that there is a gopher house under the ground here."

コナ：「ここの地面の下に、ホリネズミの家があるような気がするのです。」

Kona: "Should I dig or not..."

コナ：「掘るべきか、掘らざるべきか‥‥」

Mommy: "Please don't!"

ママ：「掘らないで！」

Chick A: "Fu fu fu. We all need to have fun."

ひよこA：「ふふふ。みんな楽しみは必要よね〜」

Chick B: "I'm having fun doing rock-climbing today♪"

ひよこB：「今日私は、ロッククライミングして楽しんでるの〜♪」
