Kona: "Oh!!! The grass was cut!!!"
コナ：「あっ！！！草刈りされてる〜！！！」
Ehime: "Brother Kona! Please don't pull the leash. We are connected."
えひめ：「コナにい！リードを引っ張らないでくだしゃいよ。わたちたち、つながってるんでしゅから。」
Kona: "Sorry, Ehime. Here, there is some tasty grass."
コナ：「ごめんね、ひめたん。ほら、ここにおいしい草があるよ。」
Ehime: "Thank you."
えひめ：「ありがと。」
Kahlua: "I'm not connected with you guys by leash, but we graze together♪"
カルア：「ぼくはふたりとリードでつながってないけれど、一緒に放牧してます♪」
Kona: "Do you want to look for the tastier grass with me, Kahlua?"
コナ：「カルアくん、一緒にもっとおいしい草を探しに行く？」
Kahlua: "OK. Let's go♪"
カルア：「うん。行こう♪」
Ehime: "Brothers! I'm still grazing here!"
えひめ：「にいたまたち！わたち、ここまだ、放牧ちてるんでしゅけど！」
This will be a busy week for us as a winery, since we are bottling our first wine on Friday. But we are not only a winery. We are also a grape grower.
今週は、ワイナリーとしての私たちにとって、忙しい一週間になります。なぜなら金曜日に、初のワイン・ボトリングがあるからです。でも私たちは、ワイナリーというだけではありません。ぶどう栽培者でもあります。
Keeping the grape vines healthy is our responsibility, but it's sometimes hard to deal with the natural disaster. Some of our Petite Sirah that was newly planted last year got damaged by the cold winter, pests, and other causes. So we spent the whole Sunday afternoon to replant them.
ぶどうの木を健康に保つことは私たちの責任ですが、自然災害に立ち向かうことは、なかなか難しいことです。昨年新しく植えたペティートシラー（という種類のぶどうの木）もいくつか、寒い冬や害虫、その他の被害に合い、ダメージを受けました。それで私たちは、日曜日の午後を全部使って、植え替えをしました。
Daddy: "I'm going to stop here."
パパ：「ここでちょっと止まるね。」
Mommy: "What happened?"
ママ：「どうしたの？」
Daddy: "There are some weeds growing inside of the protection tube for the vine. I want to pull it off."
パパ：「ぶどうの木を守る保護チューブの中で、雑草が生えてる。これを抜きたいんだ。」
Mommy: "Good job seeing it."
ママ：「よく見えたね〜」
Daddy: "And, look. Do you see some brown leaves on top? This is the damage from the frost. But this vine is not dead. Let's put the protection tube back on and keep them warm."
パパ：「それから、ほら。これ、上のほうの葉っぱが茶色くなってるだろう？これは、霜のダメージだ。でもこのぶどうの木は死んではいないからね。保護チューブを巻いて、暖かくしてあげよう。」
Mommy: "If we keep seeing each vines, I wonder if we have enough time to plant the new vines today."
ママ：「ひとつひとつぶどうの木をチェックし続けたら、今日中に新しいぶどうの木の植樹を終えられるかしら。」
Daddy: "Here. Let's plant the new vine. First, We're going to shovel and make a hole."
パパ：「ここ。新しいぶどうの木を植えよう。まず、シャベルで穴を掘って。」
Daddy: "We put one vine in the hole and fill it with the soil until you don't see the root of it. Then put the fertilizer. We don't want the fertilizer to touch the root, because it burns it."
パパ：「穴にぶどうの木を一本入れて、根っこが見えなくなるまで土で埋めるんだ。それから肥料を入れる。肥料は根っこに当ててはいけないんだよ。痛めてしまうから。」
Daddy: "We fill the hole with the soil and step around the vine with your foot to get rid of any air pockets that might exits inside. Now, it's your turn."
パパ：「穴を土で埋めて、木のまわりを足で踏みつける。これは、中にあるかもしれない空気の穴を無くすためだよ。さあ、今度はママの番。」
Mommy: "Digging a hole..."
ママ：「穴を掘って‥‥」
Mommy: "Planting a vine..."
ママ：「植樹して‥‥」
Mommy: "Wrapping it with the protection tube. The process is not very difficult, but kneeling down so many times in the sun for many hours could be a little hard."
ママ：「保護チューブを巻いて、と。この過程はそれほど難しくないけれど、太陽の下で何度もひざまづいて何時間も作業するのは、ちょっと大変かもね。」
Stormy: "Fu fu. I'm a neighbor's dog, Stormy. Good luck on your farming♪"
ストーミー：「ふふ。私は近所に住むストーミー。農業のお仕事、ガンバってね♪」
Mommy: "Oh. Our Syrah vines are having babies♪ I hope we have a good harvest this year."
ママ：「あら。シラー（という種類のぶどう）に赤ちゃんができてる♪ 今年、いい収穫ができるといいね。」
Daddy: "I hope so, too."
パパ：「そうなるといいね。」
At home おうち
Kona: "What a big box! What's in there, daddy?"
コナ：「なんて大きな箱！中になにが入ってるの、パパ？」
Daddy: "He he he♪"
パパ：「えへへ♪」
Kahlua: "Ha! Ehime! Don't get close to the box! There might be a dangerous thing in it!"
カルア：「はっ！えひめ！箱に近寄らないで！中に危ないものが入ってるかも！」
Ehime: "What?"
えひめ：「へ？」
Daddy: "Screw tops♪ We are getting ready for bottling our wine."
パパ：「スクリュートップで〜す♪ ワインのボトリングの準備をしてるんだ。」
