Let's take it easy 〜ゆっくりしましょ〜

Mommy: "I hear the thunder. It's a little earlier than usual, but let's do exercise before the rain starts."

ママ：「あれ、雷の音が聞こえる。いつもよりちょっと早いけど、雨が降り出す前に、運動しようか。」

Kona: "Yay♪"　コナ：「やった♪」

Bazaaaaaaaan!

バッザーーーーーーーン！

Mommy: "Snack time. I got those at work the other day."

ママ：「おやつの時間よ。これ、こないだお仕事でもらってきたの。」

Ehime: "Mmm, they smell like apple oatmeal bagels♥"

えひめ：「ん〜、アップルオートミールのベーグルでしゅね♥」

Ehime: "It's hard. Can you break it for me, brother Kona?"

えひめ：「これ、かたい。コナにい、割って下しゃい。」

Kona: "OK. Oops, I ate a litte bit of yours♪"　

コナ：「いいよ。あ‥‥　ちょっとひめたんの、食べちゃった♪」

After the pool time　プールの後

Mommy: "We have some time before I get ready for dinner. Let's watch Detective Conan on TV."

ママ：「晩ごはんを作る時間までまだちょっとあるから、テレビで名探偵コナンを見ようね。」

Ehime: "......"　えひめ：「‥‥」

Ehime: "Mommy? I think I like the animal show better than the suspense show."

えひめ：「ママ？わたち、サスペンスより動物の番組のほうが好きなんでしゅけど。」

Cooking time　お料理の時間

Kona: "Oh? I smell seafood somewhere. Is it coming from here?"

コナ：「あれ？どこからかシーフードのにおいがする。ここからかな？」

(lick)　（ペロッ）

Kahlua: "What are you cooking, mommy?"

カルア：「ママ、なに作ってるの？」

Mommy: "Paella. I saw this dish on my blog friend's post recently."

ママ：「パエリア。最近このお料理を、ママのブログ友達がブログに載せているのを見たの。」

Mommy: "Darling? I made an appetizer today."

ママ：「パパ？今日は前菜も作ってみたのよ。」

Daddy: "Mmm, prosciutto is tasty. Cantaloupe needs to be a little bit more ripe though."

パパ：「う〜ん、プロシュートはおいしいけど、カンタロープ（マスクメロンの一種）はもうちょっと熟してたほうがよかったかな。」

Mommy: "Paella is ready♪"

ママ：「パエリア、できた♪」

Ehime: "Did you have a relaxing day today, mommy?"

えひめ：「ママ、今日はゆっくりできまちたか？」

Mommy: "Yes, I did♪"

ママ：「うん、できた♪」

Kona: "I think sleeping and relaxing is the best thing you can do during the weekend."

コナ：「やっぱり週末には、寝てゆっくりするのが一番だよね〜」

Mommy: "I see you are sleeping and relaxing during the week, too."

ママ：「コナくんは、週中も寝てゆっくりしているように見えるけど？」

Big thank you to Anne momma, Ominu and my husband 〜アンママさん、おみぬさん、そしてパパに大きな感謝を〜

Early morning yesterday　昨日朝早く

Kona: "Mommy is becoming a member of Golpara today, isn't she?"

コナ：「ママは今日、ゴルパラの一員になるんだよね？」

Daddy: "That's right."　パパ：「そうだよ。」

Mommy: "My tag is right here. Everything is ready."

ママ：「許可書もここにあるし、準備はできた。」

I was so honored to work for Golpara as a translator. Both Anne momma and Ominu cooperated together and asked many questions to pet companies, thinking about the owners and dogs in Japan. During the translation, I was happy to know that my experience living in two languages for a long time could help to connect people from two different countries.

ゴルパラさんのために通訳として働けたことは、とても光栄でした。日本にいる飼い主さんや愛犬ちゃんたちのことを考えながら、アンママさんとおみぬさんは二人で協力し、業者さんにたくさん質問をしていました。通訳をしながら、私は、二つの言語で長い間生きてきた経験が、違う国の人々をつなげることができるんだな、と知り、とてもうれしくなりました。

We decided to have dinner together at my house. On the way back home, we stopped by at Red Rock.

夕食は、我が家で一緒に食べることになりました。帰り道、レッドロックに寄りました。

Ominu: "Wow, beautiful!"　おみぬさん：「わあ、きれい！」

Anne momma: "It's amazing."　アンママさん：「すごいな〜」

At home　おうち

Bazaaaaaaan!　バッザーーーーーン！

Anne momma: "I took a picture of Kona♪"

アンママさん：「コナくんの写真、撮れた♪」

Ominu: "You are so cute, Kahlua♪"

おみぬさん：「カルアくん、かわいい〜♪」

Kahlua: "Please say more♥"

カルア：「もっと言って下さい♥」

After the swimming time　プールの後

Mommy: "Let's try to give bully horns to doggies that I bought today."

ママ：「今日買ってきた牛の角、犬たちにあげてみよう。」

Mommy: "Look, everyone. Guess what they are."

ママ：「みんな見て。これ、なんだと思う？」

Ehime: "Daddy's new shoes♪"

えひめ：「パパの新しいくつ♪」

Mommy: "How is it, Kona?"

ママ：「コナくん、どう？」

Kona: "This is strong and has no bad smell. Perfect for a dog who has a strong jaw like me♪"

コナ：「頑丈で、変なにおいもないよ。ぼくみたいにあごが強い犬にはパーフェクト♪」

Ehime: "My dear daddy?"　えひめ：「ねえ、あのね、パパ？」

Daddy: "What is it, my sweet Ehime?"　パパ：「な〜に？えひめちゃん。」

Ehime: "I dropped your new shoe into the swimming pool♪"

えひめ：「パパの新しいくつ、プールの中に落とちまちた♪」

Daddy: "What!"　パパ：「なんだって！？」

Daddy: "Oh, a bully horn. Phew..."

パパ：「ああ、牛の角か。ふう‥‥」

Kona: "I get it."

コナ：「ぼくがとってあげる〜」

At dinner　夕食時

Mommy: "I ate some of my steak and corn before I take a picture!"

ママ：「あっ！写真を撮る前に、ステーキとコーン、食べちゃった！」

Anne momma: "If you turn them around, it's OK."

アンママさん：「向こう側にひっくり返したら、大丈夫や〜」

Dessert time　デザートタイム

Daddy: "Chocolate cake from Suzuya tastes great as always."

パパ：「やっぱりすずやさんのチョコレートケーキはおいしいね〜」

On the way back to the hotel, we stopped by at the local pet product store. We said good-bye to Anne momma and Ominu at the hotel and promised to meet again in the future. To Anne momma and Ominu who gave me a great opportunity as a translator and to my husband who supported me for the thing I want to do, I want to send a big thank you.

ホテルに帰る前、地元のペット商品を購入できるお店に立ち寄りました。ホテルでアンママさんとおみぬさんにさよならをして、また会いましょうね！と言いました。私に通訳という素晴らしいチャンスをくれたアンママさんとおみぬさんに、そして、私がやりたいと言ったことを支えてくれたパパに、大きな感謝の気持ちを送りたいです。

Kona: "Unfortunately mommy is not at home today."

コナ：「残念だけど、今日はママ、おうちにいないんだ。」

Ehime: "She's has a translating job."

えひめ：「通訳のお仕事がありましゅから。」

Kona: "Please come and see us tomorrow. Thank you♪"

コナ：「明日また、遊びに来てね。ありがと〜♪」

Peaceful life is food for thought 〜平和な生活は心の糧〜

Ehime loves Mr. Piggie. Looking at Ehime sleeping with Mr. Piggie in her mouth, I was remembering yesterday.

えひめは豚さんが大好きなようです。お口に豚さんをくわえて眠っているえひめを見ながら、昨日のことを思いだしていました。

Yesterday afternoon　昨日の午後

Mommy: These desert plants have flowers now."

ママ：「この砂漠の植物、お花が咲き始めたね〜」 

Mommy: "Yay! Hawaiian tomatoes are getting ripe♪"

ママ：「おっ、やった〜！ハワイアントマト、やっと熟してきた♪」

When I'm thinking about plants

植物について考えていると

Bazaaaaaan!

バッザーーーーーン！

Ehime: "Good job, brother Kona."

えひめ：「よくできまちた、コナにい。」

Ehime: "Give them to me."

えひめ：「さあ、こっちによこちて。」

Kona: "No."

コナ：「やだ。」

Ehime: "Give them to me."

えひめ：「よこちて。」

Kona: "No."

コナ：「やだ。」

It looked like they would continue forever...

長引きそうだったので‥‥

Mommy: "Why don't you give them to me, Kona."

ママ：「じゃ、コナくん。ママにちょうだい。」

Kona: "OK♥"

コナ：「どうじょ♥」

A few min later　数分後

Kona: "Just a little more. Mmm... I can't reach."

コナ：「ああ、もうちょっとなのに。んん‥‥　届かない。」

Ehime: "Let me do it."

えひめ：「わたちにまかせて下しゃい。」

Kona: "Where are you going?"

コナ：「どこに行くの？」

Ehime: "If the land doesn't work, go in the ocean."

えひめ：「陸がダメなら海から、でしゅよ。」

Kona: "Oh..."

コナ：「あ‥‥」

At night　夜

Daddy: "Let's grill some chicken on the new Staub grill pan."

パパ：「新しいストウブのグリルパンで、チキンをグリルしよう。」

Mommy: "Sounds great♪"

ママ：「いいね〜♪」

Daddy: "Look, honey. This pan makes beautiful grill marks on the chicken."

パパ：「ママ、見て。このグリルパンで焼くと、チキンにとってもきれいな網目ができるよ。」

Mommy: "How nice♪"

ママ：「わ〜、ステキ♪」

Mommy: "Chicken is so juicy for some reason. Darling, I think it's wonderful to have a peaceful life."

ママ：「なんかこのチキン、とってもジューシー。ねえ、パパ？平和な生活があるっていいね。」
