Daddy: "Happy New Year, honey!"

パパ：「ママ、あけましておめでとう！」

Mommy: "Happy New Year, darling. It feels so nice waking up after the sun rises♪"

ママ：「パパ、あけましておめでとう。太陽が昇ってから起きるのって、とってもいい気持ちだわ〜♪」

Kona: "Are we eating the special breakfast today?"

コナ：「今日ぼくたち、特別な朝ごはんを食べる？」

Mommy: "Mmm.... it's the same as usual."

ママ：「うーん‥‥　いつもと同じごはん。」

Mommy: "Why don't you want to eat the food these days, Ehime?"

ママ：「ひめたん、最近どうしてごはんを食べたくないの？」

Ehime: "If you help me with the fork twice, I can eat."

えひめ：「ママがフォークで２回手伝ってくれたら、食べられましゅよ。」

Daddy: "OK, dogs. I stole a few tuna pieces from mommy. Happy New Year, Kona♪"

パパ：「さあ、犬たち。ママからまぐろを数枚盗んできたぞ。コナ、あけましておめでとう♪」

Kona: "Happy New Year to you, too, daddy. Tuna is delicious♪"

コナ：「パパにも、あけましておめでとう。まぐろ、おいしい♪」

Daddy: "Happy New Year, Ehime. Here is your tuna♪"

パパ：「えひめ、あけましておめでとう。まぐろをどうぞ♪」

Ehime: "Awww.... Tuna is not delicious..."

えひめ：「あううう‥‥　まぐろ、おいちくない‥‥」

Kona: "Then, drop it. I'll eat it for you. (lick)"

コナ：「じゃあ、落として。ぼくが食べてあげるから。（ペロッ）」

Daddy: "Happy New Year, everyone♪"

パパ：「みなさま、あけましておめでとうございます♪」

Mommy: "We are looking forward to writing more stories about us on Golden Life♪"

ママ：「Golden Lifeで、さらなるストーリーをみなさまにお届けすることを、楽しみにしています♪」

Daddy: "What did you put in your hand-rolled sushi?"

パパ：「ママの手巻き寿司に、何を入れたの？」

Mommy: "A slice of tuna & salmon and some veggies. He he♪"

ママ：「まぐろとサーモンを一枚ずつと、お野菜よ。えへへ♪」

Kona: "How greedy... I'm going to wait here until mommy & daddy drop something."

コナ：「なんて食いしん坊な‥‥　パパとママが何か落とすまで、ここで待ってようっと。」

Mommy: "This mochi in the soup was sent by my friend in Japan. She included Kinako (roasted soybean flour) as well, so we can make the sweet mochi we like some time soon."

ママ：「お雑煮のおもちは、日本のお友達が送ってくれたのよ。きな粉も一緒に送ってくれたから、また私たちが好きな甘いきな粉もちが作れるわよ。」

Daddy: "I'm looking forward to it."

パパ：「楽しみだなあ。」

Ehime: "Umm, I brought a mole to you."

えひめ：「あの、モグラしゃんを持ってきてあげまちたよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, OK. Thank you."

ママ：「あら、そう。ありがと。」

Ehime: "I can leave this with you if you give me some delicious food instead."

えひめ：「わたちにおいちい食べ物をくれるなら、代わりにこれを置いていってもいいでしゅよ。」

Daddy: "You didn't eat a slice of tuna, Ehime. What do you want?"

パパ：「えひめ、まぐろも食べなかったじゃないか。何が欲しいんだ？」

The new year of 2019! Part 2 〜新年、2019年へ！パート２〜

Daddy: "It's the champaign time♪"

パパ：「シャンペーンの時間だよ♪」

Ehime: "It's the ice cube time♪"

えひめ：「氷の時間でしゅよ♪」

Kona: "Is champaign tasty?"

コナ：「シャンペーンって、おいしいの？」

Daddy: "Yes, it is. And this is your mommy's favorite bubble drink."

パパ：「うん、おいしいよ。それにこれはママが大好きで、泡のあるの飲み物なんだ。」

Daddy: "Happy New Year's Eve♪"

パパ：「めでたい大晦日に♪」

Mommy: "Cheers♪"

ママ：「かんぱーい♪」

Kona: "I don't understand why the bubble in the liquid is tasty."

コナ：「液体の泡がおいしいだなんて、ぼくは全くわからないよ。」

Ehime: "I agree with you. The best drink in this world is the water from the well."

えひめ：「同感。この世で最高の飲み物は、井戸水でしゅから。」

Daddy: "Now, let's get ready for eating crab legs. They are big♪"

パパ：「さあ、カニの足を食べる準備をしよう。大きいなあ♪」

Kona: "Ha! These are seafood, aren't they?"

コナ：「はっ！これって、シーフードだよね？」

Daddy: "Yes, they are."

パパ：「そうだよ。」

Kona: "Can I get some, too? I'm a big fan of seafood."

コナ：「ぼくにもちょっとくれる？ぼく、シーフードの大ファンなんだ。」

Daddy: "I know, but you shouldn't eat crab. We have some other seafood for tomorrow. You should wait for it."

パパ：「知ってる。でも、カニは食べるべきじゃないな。明日用に別のシーフードがあるから、それを待つといいよ。」

Kona: "I can't wait that long..."

コナ：「そんなに長く待てない‥‥」

Mommy: "OK. This is the end of the meal tonight. Let's eat soba to wish our long lives together in the future."

ママ：「はい、今夜の晩ごはんの最後は、これ。将来共に長生きできることを祈って、おそばを食べましょ。」

Daddy: "Yum♪"

パパ：「おいしい♪」

パパ：「暖炉に火を入れよう。」

Mommy: "That sounds nice."

ママ：「いいわね〜」

Ehime: "One branch is sticking out from the fireplace."

えひめ：「暖炉から、枝が一本出てるんでしゅけど。」

Daddy: "Don't touch it. It's hot."

パパ：「触っちゃダメだよ。熱いから。」

Kona: "Are you watching the traditional Japanese singing show, Kohaku?"

コナ：「いつもの日本の歌番組、紅白歌合戦を見てるの？」

Mommy: "That's right. So, can you move a little bit, Kona?"

ママ：「そうよ。だからね、コナくん。ちょっとどいてくれる？」

Ehime: "Mommy, I brought you a mole."

えひめ：「ママ、モグラしゃんを持って来まちたよ。」

Mommy: "Thank you. But I'm watching Kohaku now. Can you move a little bit, Ehime?"

ママ：「ありがと。でも今は、紅白歌合戦を見てるからね。ひめたん、ちょっとどいてくれる？」

Ehime: "Speaking of which, did I eat dinner yet?"

えひめ：「しょう言えば、わたち、もう晩ごはんを食べたでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Not yet. Can you wait a little bit?"

ママ：「まだ。ちょっと待ってくれる？」

Christmas has come. Part 5 〜クリスマスがやって来た パート５〜

One of Christmas presents I got this year was a little printer that I can print out my photos from my phone. 

私が今年もらったクリスマスプレゼントのひとつは、ケイタイから写真をプリントアウトできる小さなプリンターでした。

Daddy: "What photo are you printing, honey?"

パパ：「なんの写真をプリントアウトをしてるの？」

 Mommy: "This is the one. Isn't it cute?"

ママ：「これよ。かわいいでしょ？」

Daddy: "What's next?"

パパ：「次は？」

Mommy: "The very special one."

ママ：「とても特別な写真よ。」

Daddy: "I see what you mean."

パパ：「なるほど。その意味、わかったよ。」
