Kona: "What are you making for lunch today, mommy?"
コナ：「ママ、今日はランチになにを作るの？」
Mommy: "Seafood salad. We had junk food yesterday, so I'm trying to make it healthy today."
ママ：「シーフードサラダ。昨日ジャンクフードを食べちゃったからね、今日はヘルシーにいこうと思って。」
Mommy: "First, let's make some dressing with basil."
ママ：「まず、バジルの葉を使ってドレッシングを作ろうっと。」
Mommy: "Defrosting seafood is done♪"
ママ：「シーフードの解凍、できた♪」
Kona: "Seafood... (swallowing)"
コナ：「シーフード‥‥（ゴクリ）」
Ehime: "That's your favorite, brother Kona."
えひめ：「コナにいの大好きな食べ物でしゅね〜」
Ehime: "You are not done, yet?"
えひめ：「まだ終わらないでしゅか？」
Mommy: "I still have to chop tofu and other veggies."
ママ：「お豆腐や他のお野菜を切らなきゃいけないのよ〜」
Mommy: "Yay, it's done! Darling, lunch time♪"
ママ：「やった、できた！パパ〜、ランチよ〜♪」
Daddy: "OK. I'm coming!"
パパ：「わかった〜 今行く！」
In the afternoon, we had to be away from the house because an appraiser came to check our house.
午後、私たちは家を出なければいけませんでした。鑑定人が、家の価格調査に来ていたからです。
Kahlua: "Are we going out again?"
カルア：「またおでかけ？」
Mommy: "Yes, we are."
ママ：「そうなの。」
Ehime: "I'm a driver♪"
えひめ：「わたち、運転手♪」
Mommy: "When you turned 16 years old."
ママ：「16歳になったらね。」
※ In USA, people can earn the temporary license at the age of 15, and the actual driver's license at the age of 16.
※アメリカでは、15歳で仮免許、16歳で運転免許証が取れます。
Surprise! When my husband tried to start the engine, it didn't start! We tried to ask neighbours if they have a cable for charging the battery, but they said no. Chloe's & Jack's daddy had one, but there was no way to get it from his house, because we have only one car.
サプラ〜イズ！主人が車を発進させようとしたとき、なんとエンジンがかからなかったんです！ご近所の方々に、バッテリーをチャージするためのケーブルを持っていないか聞きに回りましたが、持っていないということでした。クロエちゃんとジャックくんのパパさんが持っていましたが、おうちまでケーブルを取りに行く方法がありませんでした。我が家には、車が一台しかないからです。
Ehime: "How long have we been in the car, brother Kona?"
えひめ：「コナにい？わたちたち、もうどれくらい車に乗ったままでしゅか？」
Kona: "About an hour."
コナ：「１時間くらいかな。」
The appraiser finished her work and she left with our realtor. When my husband tried to start the engine one last time, amazingly it worked! But he said he wants to take the car to the dealer. So I decided to give doggies afternoon exercise in the pool using that time.
鑑定人は仕事を終え、私たちの不動産屋さんと一緒に帰りました。主人は最後にもう一度、と、キーを回してみました。驚いたことに、エンジンがかかったのです！でも主人は、念のため、ディーラーに車を持っていくと言いました。それでその時間を利用して、私は犬たちにプールで午後の運動をさせることにしました。
Kona: "Yaaaaaaa!!!!"
コナ：「ヤーーーー！！！！」
Ehime: "Yay, I got it♪"
えひめ：「やった、取りまちた♪」
Kona: "Ahhh! It got stolen again!"
コナ：「あああ！もう、また盗まれた！」
Ehime: "Is everything OK?"
えひめ：「大丈夫でしゅか？」
Kona: "The rope is stuck here."
コナ：「ロープがここにひっかかっちゃって。」
Kona: "Hmm...."
コナ：「う〜ん‥‥」
Ehime: "Don't give up, brother Kona."
えひめ：「コナにい、あきらめちゃダメでしゅよ。」
Kona: "I did it♪"
コナ：「できた♪」
Ehime: "Good job!"
えひめ：「やったでしゅね〜！」
Kona: "How do you think daddy is doing now, mommy?"
コナ：「ママ？パパ、今ごろどうしてるかな？」
Mommy: "I just got a text message from him, and he's coming back home now."
ママ：「たった今メッセージが来てね、今から帰るって。」
Ehime: "Daddy couldn't work much today."
えひめ：「パパ、今日はあまりお仕事できましぇんでちたね。」
