Zinfandel harvesting 2017 Part 1 〜ジンファンデルの収穫 2017年 パート１〜

Before starting today's blog, I would like to say that our prayers are out to all our friends and their loved ones in Las Vegas. My husband and I hope that people are healed mentally and physically as time goes by.

ブログを始める前に、ラスベガスにいる私たちのお友だちとその愛する人たちに、祈りを捧げたいと思います。時間の流れと共に、人々が心身ともに癒されることを、主人も私も祈っています。

Kona: "We are thinking about our Las Vegas friends."

コナ：「ラスベガスのお友だちのことを思っています。」

Mr. G (owner of Zinfandel): "We are harvesting Zinfandel today. Kula Vineyards & Winery is going to make wine with these grapes."

Gさん（ジンファンデルのオーナー）：「今日は、ジンファンデルの収穫だ。クラぶどう園＆ワイナリーは、このぶどうでワインを作るからね。」

Stormy: "Do you need a hand?"

ストーミー：「手を貸しましょうか？」

Daddy: "You mean, a paw?"

パパ：「それって、足のこと？」

Daddy: "These are good grapes. It's going to be the great wine."

パパ：「いいぶどうだ。素晴らしいワインができるぞ。」

Stormy: "If you want to take photos of me, please talk to my agent."

ストーミー：「私の写真を撮りたいなら、エージェントを通してくれる？」

Mommy: "Your agent said OK. Right, Mr. G?"

ママ：「エージェントはいいって言ってたよ。ね、Gさん？」

Mr. G: "Take as much as you want."

Gさん：「いくらでも撮っていいよ。」

Mr. R (vineyard worker): "Look. These are gorgeous grapes."

Rさん（ぶどう園の作業員さん）：「見て。ゴージャスなぶどうだよ。」

Mommy: "Beautiful♪"

ママ：「きれい♪」

Daddy: "There are not many raisins this year. I like it."

パパ：「今年は、レーズン化したものがあんまりないな。よし、いいぞ。」

Mr. G: "I'm backing up! Watch out, everyone!"

Gさん：「バックするよ〜！みんな、気をつけて！」

Daddy: "These are nice looking grapes. Let's load the bin in my truck."

パパ：「形のいいぶどうだ。よし、ぼくのトラックに乗せよう。」

Mr. R: "OK, stop!"

Rさん：「はい、ストップ！」

Mr. G: "OK. I'm putting the bin on the truck now."

Gさん：「OK。じゃあ、トラックにコンテイナーを乗せるよ。」

Daddy: "Let's push!"

パパ：「さあ、押すぞ！」

Mr. R: "OK!"

Rさん：「はい！」

Mr. G: "You don't need to push, because the next one will push it further when we load."

Gさん：「押さなくていいんだよ。次のを乗せるとき、それを奥まで押してくれるから。」

Daddy: "How are you doing, honey?"

パパ：「ママ、がんばってる？」

Mommy: "I'm doing well. But I'm just hungry, because I haven't had my breakfast yet."

ママ：「がんばってる。でもおなかがすいてるのよ、朝ごはんをまだ食べてないから。」

Mommy: "Oh, I have food right here. Let's eat. Aaaaaan♪"

ママ：「あ、ここに食べ物があった。食べちゃおう。ああああああん♪」

Daddy: "$10, please."

パパ：「はい、10ドルです。」

Mommy: "What!?"

ママ：「えっ！？」

Stormy: "Is this some comical entertainment show?"

ストーミー：「これって、コント？」 

Mr. G: "Just let them do it."

Gさん：「そのままさせておけばいいんだよ。」

Mommy: "I guess this soft soil absorbs the water well, so that the vines can grow the great grapes."

ママ：「きっとこの柔らかい土がお水をよく吸収して、それでぶどうの木が素晴らしい

ぶどうを育てるのね。」

At home　おうち

Ehime: "I didn't have a lot of chances to speak today. Maybe I will speak more tomorrow."

えひめ：「今日は、あんまりしゃべるチャンスがなかったでしゅよ。明日はもっとしゃべるかな。」

Mommy: "Tomorrow is going to be Part 2 of Zinfandel harvesting 2017."

ママ：「明日は、ジンファンデルの収穫 2017年のパート２の予定だけど。」

Ehime: "...... Maybe I will speak more the day after tomorrow."

えひめ：「‥‥　明後日はもっとしゃべるかな。」

Continuing tomorrow♪

House-grown melon 〜自家栽培のメロン〜

Mommy: "Oh, my goodness. The house-grown cantaloupe melon looks so juicy. Let's eat."

ママ：「わあ、すごいよ。自家栽培のカンタロープ・メロン、とってもジューシーな感じ。さあ、食べよう。」 

Daddy: "I love house-grown cantaloupe melon. It's so delicious♪"

パパ：「自家栽培のカンタロープ・メロン、大好き。とってもおいしい♪」

Kona: "Mmm... I want to eat the cantaloupe melon..."

コナ：「んんん‥‥　カンタロープ・メロン、食べたい‥‥」

Mommy: "I guess melon is OK for dogs to eat it's it's not too much. Here you are."

ママ：「たくさんじゃなければ、犬もメロンを食べてもいいよね。はい、どうぞ。」

Kona: "Yay. Thank you♪"

コナ：「やった。ありがと♪」

Ehime: "Mmm, yum♪"

えひめ：「んんん、おいちい♪」

Mommy: "I'm going to give some to Kahlua later, because he is sleeping deeply right now."

ママ：「カルアくんには、あとであげようね。今とってもよく眠ってるから。」

Kona: "Dinner rolls, please fall down into my mouth."

コナ：「ディナーロールさん、どうかぼくのお口に落ちてきてください。」

No.2　その２

Kona: "I'm keeping your iPad and remote controllers safe. Any problem?"

コナ：「iPadとリモコン、ぼくがちゃんと保管しています。何か問題でも？」

No. 3　その３

Kona: "Don't die, Ehime! I'm with you! (hand on her)"

コナ：「ひめたん、死ぬんじゃない！ぼくがついてるから！（バシッ）」

Ehime: "Ouch"

えひめ：「いてっ」

Everyone grows up and turns old. 〜みんな成長し、老いる〜

Our cow, Happy is pregnant. Her last calf, Serene is almost 11 month old, but he still wants to drink milk from Happy from time to time. So we decided to separate them for a little while, expecting that Serene forgets about drinking milk from Happy. That's the way Happy can use all the energy to grow her baby instead of producing more milk for Serene. 

私たちの牛のハッピーは、妊娠しています。最後に生まれたセリーンは、もうすぐ生まれて11ヶ月になりますが、いまだに時々ハッピーのミルクを飲みたがります。それで、セリーンにハッピーのミルクのことを忘れてもらうことを期待して、しばらく二人を離すことにしました。そうすれば、ハッピーはすべてのエネルギーを、セリーンのためにミルクを作ることではなく、赤ちゃんを育てることに使うことができるからです。

Happy: "Serene is under the tree with Cheer. I don't know why, but all the gates are closed and I can't go see him. Moo."

ハッピー：「セリーンがね、チアちゃんと一緒に木の下にいるの。どうしてだかわからないけれど、ゲートが全部閉まっていて、セリーンに会いに行けないのよ。モー。」

Happy: "Can you please open one of the gates for me?"

ハッピー：「お願いだから、私のために、ゲートをひとつ開けてくれない？」

Mommy: "I wish I can, but I should't. It's all for you and your baby."

ママ：「開けてあげられたらいいんだけれど、無理なのよ。すべては、ハッピーちゃんと赤ちゃんのためよ。」

Serene: "I'm staying with Cheer, so I'm OK. But my mother is missing me and mooing a lot. I hope she is doing OK."

セリーン：「ぼくは、チアちゃんと一緒にいるから大丈夫。でも母さんはぼくに会えなくて、何度もモーモー鳴いてるんだ。母さん、大丈夫だといいけど。」

Cheer: "Happy is fine. She is a strong mother."

チア：「ハッピーちゃんは、大丈夫よ。強い母親だもの。」

Next day　次の日

Kahlua: "What a beautiful morning♪"

カルア：「ステキな朝♪」

Kahlua: "Kona & Ehime went for a walk further, but I'm u-turning here."

カルア：「コナとえひめは遠くまで歩いて行ったけど、ぼくは、ここでUターンするんだ。」

Kahlua: "Because, we have a long way to go back home. Our house is before that forest."

カルア：「だって、おうちまで長い道のりだからね。ぼくたちの家は、あの林の向こう側だもの。」

Kahlua: "I guess it takes some time for Kona & Ehime to get back to me."

カルア：「コナとえひめがぼくのところに戻って来るまで、ちょっと時間がかかると思うんだ。」

Kahlua: "Maybe I can take a nap here?"

カルア：「ここでお昼寝できるんじゃないかな？」

Ehime: "Brother Kahlua!!! We are coming back!"

えひめ：「カルアにい〜〜〜！！！わたちたち、戻ってきまちたよ〜！」

Kona: "We might pass you actually."

コナ：「抜かしちゃうかも。」

Ehime: "He he♪"

えひめ：「えへへ♪」

Kona: "Sorry, Kahlua."

コナ：「カルアくん、ごめんね。」

Ehime: "We'll wait for you at that telephone pole."

えひめ：「あの電柱のところで、待ってましゅからね〜」

Kahlua: ".... I guess I can take a nap at home."

カルア：「‥‥　お昼寝は、おうちですればいいか。」
