Gold & Bronze Retrievers! 〜ゴールド＆ブロンズレトリバー！〜

Ehime: "Of course, I love Gold, because I'm a Golden Retriever❤︎"

えひめ：「もちろん、ゴールド大好き。だってわたちは、ゴールデンレトリバーでしゅから❤︎」

Kona: "Gold & Bronze sound like the Olympics. What are you talking about?"

コナ：「ゴールドとかブロンズとか、オリンピンクみたい。なんの話しをしてるの？」

Mommy: "We are talking about a big wine contest, Central Coast Wine Competition that we entered our wines."

ママ：「我が家のワインをエントリーした、大きなワインコンテスト、セントラルコースト・ワイン・コンペティションの話しよ。」

Daddy: "Our Grenache Blanc won a Gold medal, and Estate Syrah Rosé won a Bronze medal. They are going to be exhibited at the Mid-State Fair that is going to be held for 12 days at the end of July, and many people are going to see our medals decorated on our wines."

パパ：「うちのグルナッシュブランがゴールドメダルを、エステイトシラーロゼが、ブロンズメダルを勝ち取ったんだ。７月末に12日間開催される、ミッドステイトフェアで展示されて、たくさんの人がうちのワインに飾られたメダルを見ることになるんだよ。」

Kahlua: "Many people come and see? Oh, gosh. I need to go get a grooming soon."

カルア：「たくさんの人が見に来る？なんてこったい。ぼく、すぐにグルーミングしてもらわなきゃ。」

Kona: "I can get just a brushing at home."

コナ：「ぼくは、家でブラッシングしてもらうだけでいい。」

Serene: "Do I need to get ready for anything?"

セリーン：「ぼくも、なにか準備したほうがいいかな。」

Cheer: "What about getting ready for becoming adult. (nom-nom)"

チア：「大人になる準備をするのはどう？（ムシャムシャ）」

Wine tasting event 〜ワインテイスティングイベント〜

Ehime: "Are we eating lunch today?"

えひめ：「今日は、わたちたち、ランチを食べるでしゅか？」

Kahlua: "Yay! Food is welcomed anytime♪"

カルア：「やった〜　食べ物は、いつでも大歓迎♪」

Kona: "Why are we having an irregular schedule today?"

コナ：「どうして今日は、いつもとはちがうスケジュールなの？」

Mommy: "Well, daddy and I are going to do our first tasting event as a winery at the park this evening. This is also the donation event for the zoo."

ママ：「あのね、パパとママ、今晩公園でね、ワイナリーとして初めてのワインテイスティングイベントをすることになったの。動物園への寄付金集めのイベントでもあるのよ。」

Daddy: "Let's do it!"

パパ：「よし、ガンバろう！」

Three days in a row 〜三日連続で〜

Mommy: "I'm going to eat lunch."

ママ：「ランチ、食べようっと。」

Ehime: "Oh, that again. It's the same menu three days in a row."

えひめ：「ああ、またあれでしゅね。三日連続で同じメニュー。」

Kona: "Mommy is not only a housewife, but also a farmer. She probably won't throw away food easily."

コナ：「ママは、主婦でファーマーだからね。多分、簡単には食べ物を捨てないんだよ。」

Mommy: "This depends on how you plate the food. Today, I'm trying to put the lettuce at the bottom of pasta salad."

ママ：「こういうのは、食べ物の盛り付け方の問題よ。今日は、パスタサラダの下に、レタスを置いてみるわね。」

Mommy: "And adding some tomato sauce on top of meatballs."

ママ：「ミートボールの上に、トマトソースを乗せて、と。」

Ehime: "Is there any change from yesterday?"

えひめ：「昨日から、なにか変わったでしゅか？」

Kona: "Probably just the lettuce so far."

コナ：「レタスだけかな、今のところ。」

Mommy: "More parsley? Of course♪"

ママ：「パセリ、もうちょっと乗せる？もちろんよ〜♪」

Ehime: "Who is she talking to?"

えひめ：「誰としゃべってるでしゅか？」

Kona: "I'm not sure about it."

コナ：「さあ、誰だろう。」

Mommy: "Oh, maybe I can have a little grapes on the side. It will be cute."

ママ：「ああ、そうだ。横にちょっとぶどうを置いてみよう。かわいくなるわよ〜」

Mommy: "See? Doesn't it look like Italian?"

ママ：「ほら！イタリアンっぽくない？」

Ehime: "Lunch looks the same every day."

えひめ：「ランチ、毎日同じに見えましゅけど。」

Kona: "Well, our dinner is pretty much the same every day."

コナ：「まあ、ぼくたちの晩ごはんも、たいていいつも同じだけどね。」

Kahlua: "Zzzz...."

カルア：「Zzzz....」

Dogs went to the vet. 〜犬たち、お医者様のところに行く〜

Kahlua: "Are we going out?"

カルア：「おでかけする？」

Kona: "I feel something not good."

コナ：「ぼく、なんかよくない予感がする。」

Ehime: "Me, too."

えひめ：「わたちも。」

Mommy: "We are going to the vet this morning."

ママ：「今朝は、みんなのお医者様のところに行くよ。」

Kona: "My feeling was right."

コナ：「ぼくの予感は当たった。」

Ehime: "Am I sick?"

えひめ：「わたち、病気でしゅか？」

Mommy: "No one is sick, but you need an annual check-up and shorts. Daddy is riding in the truck in front of us, and we will all go to the vet together."

ママ：「誰も病気じゃないけど、年に一度の検診と注射が必要だから。パパもトラックで前を走ってるでしょ。みんな一緒にお医者様のところに行くのよ。」

Kona: "Oh, deer!"

コナ：「あっ、シカさん！」

Mommy: "They are around this area these days."

ママ：「最近、この辺りにいるシカだわね。」

At the animal hospital　動物病院で

Ehime: "I feel a little excited for some reason."

えひめ：「なぜかちょっとワクワクしゅる。」

Kona: "Do you like to come to the hospital?"

コナ：「ひめたん、病院に来るのが好きなの？」

Mommy: "You guys look happy for some reason. This photo might be used for a Christmas card this year."

ママ：「なんだかみんな、ハッピーって感じね〜　この写真、今年のクリスマスカードに使っちゃうかも。」

Kahlua: "He he♪"

カルア：「えへへ♪」

For results, Ehime is a perfectly healthy girl. Kona is great, but he needs to lose some weight. The doctor was concerned about Kahlua.

結果から言うと、えひめは完全な健康優良児です。コナもいいのですが、少し体重を落とす必要があります。お医者様の心配は、カルアでした。

According to a doctor, Kahlua's fat tumor is big because the new fat tumor probably grew on top of the old one. She took a sample and tested to see if there are any dangerous cancer cells are growing. But in this test, she only saw the fat. 

お医者様によると、カルアの脂肪腫が大きいのは、新しい脂肪腫が古い脂肪腫の上に育っているからではないか、と言うことでした。お医者様はサンプルを取り、危険なガン細胞が育っていないか検査して下さいました。今回の検査で見えたものは、脂肪だけでした。

Kahlua will be 13 years old this coming November. We can give him a surgery to get rid of the fat tumor. But the doctor thinks that it's going to take a long time recover from the surgery. If anyone ask us if we want Kahlua to suffer to the end only to recover from the surgery, we will definitely say no. The doctor also thinks that monitoring is a good idea for now. 

カルアは今年の11月で13歳になります。脂肪腫を取り除く手術を受けさせることもできますが、お医者様は、術後の回復には長くかかると考えています。もし誰かが私たちに「手術から回復することだけのために、カルアに最後までの時間を使わせたいですか？」と尋ねるなら、私たちは絶対に「いいえ。」と答えます。お医者様も、今は様子をみるのがいいだろうと考えています。

Kona: "Phew, it finally finished. Let's go home."

コナ：「ふう、やっと終わった。さあ、帰ろう。」

At home　おうち

Kona: "I'm tired..."

コナ：「ぼく、疲れた‥‥」

Mommy: "Me, too. Daddy took off to work before we paid, so it was hard for me to bring everything in the car including you guys."

ママ：「ママも。パパは支払い前に仕事に行ってしまったから、みんなを含めて何もかもを車の中に入れるのは、ママ、大変だったよ。」

Mommy: "And when I see the total amount of the visit today, it makes me dizzy..."

ママ：「それに、今日の診察の合計金額を見たら、クラクラするよ‥‥」

※ 約66,000円

Ehime: "Then, let's lay down here together."

えひめ：「じゃあ、ここで一緒に横になろう。」

Kona: "Great idea."

コナ：「それ、いいね〜」

Happy fifth birthday, Ehime♪ Part 2 〜えひめ、５歳のお誕生日おめでとう♪ パート２〜

Kona: "What? Are we getting something tasty?"

コナ：「えっ？なにかおいしいものがもらえる？」

Ehime: "I don't think so."

えひめ：「しょんなことないと思いましゅけど。」

Mommy: "For the small one, I just put mozzarella cheese, mini tomatoes and Italian parsley. Is this OK?"

ママ：「小さいほうには、モッツァレラチェーズ、ミニトマト、イタリアンパセリを乗せただけなんだけど、これでいいかしら？」

Daddy: "I think that's great."

パパ：「いいと思うよ。」

Daddy: "Let's put both pizzas in the oven."

パパ：「さあ、ピザを両方ともオーブンに入れよう。」

Kona: "I kind of think we can get one of those pizzas♪"

コナ：「なんか、ピザをひとつもらえそうな気がする♪」

Ehime: "What? Pizza for dogs?"

えひめ：「えっ？もしかして、犬用ピザ？」

Daddy: "They are done."

パパ：「できたよ。」

Mommy: "A few tomatoes fell from the pizza as the Mozzarella cheese melted."

ママ：「モッツァレラチーズが溶けたときに、ピザからトマトが数個落ちちゃったね〜」

Ehime: "Mozzarella cheese? Tomatoes?"

えひめ：「モッツァレラチーズ？トマト？」 

Kahlua: "Is that pizza for us, daddy?"

カルア：「パパ。そのピザは、ぼくたち用？」

Daddy: "No. This pepperoni & black olive pizza is for humans."

パパ：「いいや。このペパロニ＆ブラックオリーブのピザは、人間用だよ。」

Kahlua: "It smells great."

カルア：「いいにおいがする。」

Daddy: "I'm sure it tastes great, too."

パパ：「きっと味もいいぞ〜」

Mommy: "Let's dig in♪"

ママ：「さあ、食べましょう♪」

Daddy: "Oh, yeah. Homemade pizza is tasty♪"

パパ：「うん、やっぱり、自家製ピザはおいしいよ♪」

Daddy: "I need one more piece."

パパ：「もうひとつ食べようっと。」

Ehime: "Umm... Are you forgetting something?"

えひめ：「あの‥‥　なにか忘れてましぇんか？」

Ehime: "You are forgetting something, aren't you?"

えひめ：「忘れてましゅよね？」

Mommy: "OK, OK. Then, let's sing a birthday song♪"

ママ：「わかった、わかった。じゃあ、バースデーソングを歌おう♪」

Dogs: "?"

犬たち：「？」

Daddy: "Happy fifth birthday, Ehime♪"

パパ：「えひめ、５歳のお誕生日おめでとう♪」

Mommy: "We made a special birthday pizza for doggies this time. Here you are♪"

ママ：「今回は、犬用スペシャルバースデーピザを作ってみたよ。はい、どうぞ♪」

Ehime: "(digging in)"

えひめ：「（パクパク）」

Daddy: "I think Ehime likes pizza."

パパ：「えひめは、ピザが好きみたいだ。」

Mommy: "Kona, eat now!"

ママ：「コナくん、食べて！」

Kona: "I don't know how to eat pizza."

コナ：「ピザの食べ方、知らないんだもの〜」

Daddy: "Ehime doesn't look like she is excited about salad."

パパ：「えひめは、サラダはあまり好きじゃないみたいだ。」

Ehime: "I will eat later."

えひめ：「あとで食べましゅから。」

Kahlua: "Umm.. My plate is empty. Can I get seconds?"

カルア：「あの‥‥　ぼくのお皿、空になったよ。おかわりもらえる？」

Mommy: "What? You finished already!? That's fast!"

ママ：「えっ？もう食べちゃったの！？はやい！」

Ehime: "I'm finished, too♪"

えひめ：「わたちも食べた♪」
