Getting bigger 〜大きくなる〜

 

Mommy:  "Oh, my. This sunflower is now my face-height. I wonder if it's going to be taller than I am."

ママ：「あら、まあ。このひまわり、顔の高さになっちゃった。私より背が高くなっちゃうのかしら。」

Sachi: "I wonder what the sunflower eats to get that big."

さち：「ひまわり、なにを食べたらしょんなに大きくなるでしゅかねえ。」

Mommy: "I'm not sure, but you are already big enough."

ママ：「さあねえ。でもさっちゃんは、もう十分大きいと思うよ。」

A misty day 〜霧雨の日〜

 

Chicken A: "It's misty today. I'm going back home now, otherwise my wings are going to get wet."

にわとりA：「今日は、霧雨。そろそろお家に帰ろうっと、じゃないと、羽が濡れちゃうもの。」

Makana: "I'm not a super fan of a rainy day. I wonder when the sun will come out again."

マカナ：「ぼく、雨の日ってあんまり好きじゃない。次はいつ、太陽が出てくるのかな。」

Mommy: "According to the weather forcast, its going to be raining for the next two day, and the sun will come out on Monday."

ママ：「天気予報によると、ここ二日間は雨で、太陽が出てくるのは月曜日らしいよ。」

さち：「はーい♪」

マカナ：「こう？」

ママ：「えっと、マーくんのスマイルはなんていうか‥‥ 怒ってる？」

Makana: "Oh, there are two birds."

マカナ：「あ、鳥が二羽いる。」

Makana: "Are they dating? (smile)"

Mommy: "Oh, I got it! Thank you♪"

ママ：「はい、いただきました〜！ありがと♪」

Mommy: "We should go in the house now, Ma-kun."

ママ：「マーくんは、そろそろお家に入ろうよ。」

Mommy: "I think it did."

Mommy: "It' about my chest height. That's amazing. It's going to be taller tomorrow."

Tempura is delicious. 〜天ぷらはおいしい〜

Mommy: "This is tempura-style shrimp, that is not currently on the menu. But I think it's great with Hawaiian mac salad and green salad. Should we put this on the menu? What do you think, Ma-kun?"

ママ：「これは天ぷらスタイルのえびで、現在はメニューに載ってないの。でも、ハワイアンマカロニサラダやグリーンサラダと一緒だといいと思うのよね。これ、メニューに載せるべきかな？　マーくん、どう思う？」

Makana: "I think it should be salmon instead of shrimp."

マカナ：「ぼくは、えびじゃなくて、サーモンがいいと思う。」

Mommy: "What!? Salmon tempura? Well.... I've never done it, but it might be possible."

ママ：「えっ！？　サーモンの天ぷら？　えっと‥‥ やったことはないけど、可能かもしれないわね。」
