A little time off from the rains 〜雨の中休み〜

 

Mommy: "The rain stopped for now. The cows look wet, and the ground look like it grew more green."

ママ：「今のところ、雨が止んでるわね。牛たちは濡れちゃって、地面には、前より草が生えてきた。」

Makana: "I got wet when I went bathroom in the rain, but you wiped off with the towel. Did you wipe off cows, too?"

マカナ：「ぼくも雨の中トイレに行って濡れちゃったけど、ママにタオルで拭かれちゃった。牛さんたちのことは、拭かなかったの？」

Mommy: "If I try to do it, they will probably hate me."

ママ：「それをやろうとしたら、嫌われちゃうかも。」

A quick preparation before a storm 〜嵐の前のちゃちゃっと準備〜

Makana: "It's going to be raining today, I heard."

マカナ：「今日は、雨になるんだってね。」

Mommy: "Yes. It's getting very windy. I put the cushion down on the outside futniture, put the weight on the empty pots, and covered well on the firepit. I'm hoping nothing gets blown away."

ママ：「うん。風がとっても強くなってきた。お外の家具のクッションも倒したし、空っぽの鉢植えに重しを置いたし、屋外用ファイヤーピットにもカバーしたし。何も吹き飛ばされないといいけど。」

Like Great Pyrenees 〜グレートピレニーズのように〜

Makana: "There are Great Pyrenees in the field."

マカナ：「原っぱに、グレートピレニーズたちがいる。」

Mommy: "They are protectiong sheep from predators such as coyotes."

ママ：「コヨーテのような捕食者から、羊を守っているのよ。」

Makana: "What a wonderful job. Sachi & I should learn how to protect our animals."

マカナ：「なんて素晴らしい仕事。さっちゃんとぼくも、どうやってうちの動物たちを守れれるか学ばなきゃ、だね。」

Mommy: "A great motivation."

ママ：「素晴らしいモチベーションね。」

Mommy: "But Sachi doesn't seem to be interested."

ママ：「でもさっちゃんは、興味ないみたいよ。」

Makana: "Hey, Sachi! Where are you going?"

マカナ：「ちょっと、さっちゃん！　どこ行くの〜？」

Sachi: "For a walk♪"

さち：「お散歩〜♪」

My DIY? 〜私のDIY?〜

 

Mommy: "Oh, no. This wooden piece is coming off. I've got to fix it before the next rain comes."

ママ：「あら、やだ。この木のピースが、取れかかってる。次の雨が来る前に、修理しなくっちゃ。」

Mommy: "It looks like the wooden piece is coming off because the nail this side got loosen."

ママ：「この木のピースが取れかかっているのは、こちら側の釘が緩んでいるからだわ。」

Mommy: "I'm a right-handed person. But if I can screw the nail with my left hand while I'm holding the wooden piece with my right hand, then it should work."

ママ：「私は右利き。だけど、右手で木のピースを持って、左手で釘を回すことができれば、修理できるはず。」

Mommy: "Ta da! I fixed it. My DIY is as good as my husband. Fu fu♪"

ママ：「ジャジャーン！　私のDIY、うちのパパと同じくらい上手いかも。うふふ♪」

Sachi: "Oh, mommy! Welcome home♪"

さち：「あ、ママ〜！　おかえり〜♪」

Mommy: "Sachi. One if your ear is flipping again."

ママ：「さっちゃん。お耳がまた、ひっくり返ってるよ。」

Mommy: "We were invited to the beer tasting at our frineds' house."

ママ：「お友だちのおうちでのビールテイスティングに招待して頂いたのよね。」

Daddy: "I liked their beer. I always do."

パパ：「ビール、おいしかったなあ。いつもそう思うよ。」

Makana: "I was missing you and daddy so much."

マカナ：「ぼくは、パパとママに会えなくてさびしかったよ。」

Sachi: "Please don't stop petting me."

さち：「よちよちしゅるの、止めないでくだしゃい。」

Daddy: "OK."

パパ：「はい。」

ママ：「私たちのAIストーリーNo.2を、インスタグラムに投稿したよ。このストーリーは、ぶどう畑の仕事中、ククがご近所のお友だちに偶然会って‥‥」

Sachi: "When am I going to play for the AI story?"

さち：「わたちはいつ、ストーリーに出演しゅるでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Play for the AI story? Umm... I'm not sure how that works yet, but I might be learning someday."

ママ：「AI ストーリーに出演？　うーん‥‥ その仕組みはまだわからないけれど、いつか学んじゃうかもね。」

Makana: "Speaking of Yakiniku beef, you kind of smell like beef, don't you think? (sniff)"

マカナ：「焼肉ビーフと言えば、さっちゃん、なんかビーフのにおいしない？（クンクン）」

Sachi: "What?"

さち：「え？」

Sachi: "Oh, maybe becase I was very close to the steak that daddy grilled the other day."

さち：「ああ、多分しょれは、こないだパパがステーキをグリルちたとき、とっても近くにいたからでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "Including our dinner time, right?"

ママ：「ママたちのディナータイムも含めてね。」
