Mommy: "I trimmed the hair of your ears and Ma-kun's ears after work last night. Not perfect, but they look much better."

ママ：「昨夜仕事から帰ってから、さっちゃんのお耳とマーくんのお耳の毛のトリミングをしたのよね。パーフェクトではないけど、かなりよくなったわ。」

Sachi: "It means Brother Ma and I did great."

さち：「マーにいにいとわたち、がんばりまちたから。」

Mommy: "Your face looks smaller, and cuter."

ママ：「お顔が小さく見えて、かわいくなったね〜」

Sachi: "Because the base is great. He he♪"

さち：「もとがいいでしゅから。えへへ♪」

Mommy: "Maybe because the face looks smaller, your body looks.... kind of... a little bigger."

ママ：「お顔が小さく見えるからかもしれないけど、さっちゃんの体が‥‥ なんていうか‥‥ ちょっと大きく見える。」

Sachi: "What!? You just need to trim my coat on my body, then a whole my body looks smaller."

さち：「えっ！？　ママがわたちの体の毛をトリミングちてくれたら、小さく見えましゅよ。」

A little time off 〜息抜き〜

Sachi: "Bow-wow!"

さち：「ワンワン！」

Mommy: "What's going on, Sachi?"

ママ：「さっちゃん、どうしたの？」

Sachi: "I saw something moving in the vineyard."

さち：「ぶどう畑で、なにか動いてるのが見えたんでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "Did you? I wonder if that was a cat or skunk. By the way, it's unusual to hear your barking toward the vineyard."

ママ：「そう？　ネコかスカンクかしら。ところで、さっちゃんが、ぶどう畑に向かって吠えるなんて、珍しいわね。」

Makana: "She took over my job today. That way, I can take a break and enjoy sunbathe here. (smile)"

マカナ：「さっちゃんは、今日、ぼくの仕事を引き継いでくれてるんだよ。そうすればぼく、ここで休憩に日光浴できるから。（ニコッ）」

Mommy: "It's a spirit of cooperation."

ママ：「助け合いの精神ね。」

Who is that dog? 〜あの子、だれ？〜

Daddy: "Oh, look. Makana is on the other side of the temporary fence."

パパ：「あ、見て。マカナが、仮のフェンスの向こう側にいる。」

Mommy: "Oh, no! And who is that dog on the other side of the actual fence?"

ママ：「あら、やだ！　で、外フェンスの向こう側にいる子、だれ？」

Sachi: "You might be forgetting, but I'm actually on this side, too."

さち：「忘れてるかもちれないんでしゅけど、わたちもこっち側にいましゅよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, Sachi. Let's get you out from there. Let's get Ma-kun out..."

ママ：「あら、さっちゃん。そこから出してあげようね。マーくんも出して‥‥」

Makana: "Yaaaaa!!!!!"

マカナ：「やああああ！！！！」

Sachi: "It looks like brother Ma is busy now."

さち：「マーにいにいは、今忙ちいみたいでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "I created a little bar area in the house dinning room today."

ママ：「今日、おうちのダイニングルームに、ちょっとしたバーのエリアを作ったの。」

Mommy: "This is my favorite place. Sheltie represents Kahlua, and German Shepherd represents Jack. They are both at the Rainbow Bridge now."

ママ：「ここが私の一番好きな場所。シェルティはカルアくん、ジャーマンシェパードはジャックくんを表してるの。ふたりとも、今では虹の橋にいるけどね。」

Makana: "Where is the Rainbow Bridge? Can't we see it on the sunny day?"

マカナ：「虹の橋ってどこ？　晴れの日は見えないの？」

Chicken wings 〜チキンウィング〜

Mommy: "We have chicken wings as a special for this weekend. This dish was created to pair with our new beer, 808 Golden Ale."

ママ：「今週末のスペシャル、チキンウィング。これはね、うちの新しいビール、808ゴールデンエールとのペアリングで作られたのよ。」

Sachi: "Chicken wings... Are they delicious?"

さち：「チキンウィング‥‥ しょれって、おいちい？」

Makana: "I don't need them. I cannot eat chicken meat because of my sensitive stomach."

マカナ：「ぼくは、いい。おなかが敏感だから、鶏肉は食べられないもの。」

Mommy: "I didn't say I'm going to give them to you guys."

ママ：「あげるとは言ってないけど。」

Mommy: "I think of this from time to time these days, but can you put a little bit more effort when I come back from work?"

ママ：「最近ときどき思うことなんだけど、ママがお仕事から帰ってくるとき、もうちょっと努力してくれない？」

Makana: "What do you mean?"

マカナ：「どういうこと？」

Mommy: "Well, there is a way to welcome, right? For example, running to me by wagging the tail, jumping up on me, or something like those?"

ママ：「ほら、なんか歓迎の仕方があるじゃない？　たとえば、しっぽを振ってママのところに飛んでくるとか、ママに飛びつくとか、そういう感じのやつ。」

Makana: "We'll do it from time to time."

マカナ：「ときどき、やるよ。」

Sachi: "Brother doesn't do it much. I'll do it when I'm hungry."

さち：「にいにいは、あんまりやりましぇんよ。わたちは、おなかがしゅいてるときにやる。」

Blessed rain 〜恵みの雨〜

Chicken A: "I kind of feel.... wet."

にわとりA：「なんか‥‥ 濡れてる感じがする。」

Mommy: "Because you are getting wet."

ママ：「濡れてきてるからね。」

Mommy: "The rain is good unless it breaks anything."

ママ：「何も壊すのでなければ、雨が降るのはいいことよ。」

Makana: "I don't know if I like the rain. Our morning walk was short today."

マカナ：「ぼくは、雨が好きかどうかはちょっと。今日の朝のお散歩、短かったし。」

Mommy: "We came back home early, because the rain started to hit us."

ママ：「雨に打たれ始めたんだもん。早めに帰ってくるよ。」
