On the way home　家に帰る途中

Mommy: "Oh, this is what my husband was talking about. There are cars of neighbor's picking crew at the bottom of the hill, and there are some picking bins on our property."

ママ：「ああ、パパが言ってたの、これか。ご近所さんの収穫者さんたちの車が坂の下に止まってるし、収穫用のコンテイナーがうちの敷地内にある。」

Mommy: "Night-time picking is hard, since it's hard to see grapes well on the vines. But it's the harvest season. Picking crew must be busy with going to pick here and there."

ママ：「夜の収穫は、気になっているぶどうがよく見ないから大変だわね。でも収穫シーズンだから。作業員さんたち、きっとあちらこちらで収穫するのに忙しいだろうね。」

Makana: "I was busy, too, last night. I had to supervise picking crew in the dark, and cheer them up from time to time."

マカナ：「ぼくも、昨日の夜は忙しかったよ。暗い中、収穫者さんたちの監督をしたり、ときどき声援もしなきゃいけなかったから。」

Mommy: "Cheer them up? That means... barking at them?"

ママ：「声援？　それって‥‥ ワンワン鳴いたってこと？」

Grapes before harvesting 〜収穫前のぶどう〜

 

Mommy: "These are Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. They are looking great. Let's eat a piece."

ママ：「これらは、カベルネ・ソーヴィニョンのぶどう。いい感じだわ。一粒食べてみよう。」

Mommy: "Hmm. I think they still need a little more time to get sweeter. I can't wait to harvest them to make great wine with these grapes."

ママ：「うーん。さらに甘くなるには、もうちょっと時間が必要だわね。これらのぶどうで素晴らしいワイン醸造のために収穫するの、待ち遠しいわ〜。」

Makana: "Harvest? Are you going to get busier?"

マカナ：「収穫？　さらに忙しくなるの？」

Mommy: "Don't worry. We'll still play together at night when I get back home from work."

ママ：「心配しないで。仕事から帰ってきたら、いつも通り夜一緒に遊ぶよ。」

Toppings on pizza 〜ピザのトッピング〜

 

Daddy: "1, 2, 3!"

パパ：「いち、にーの、さんっ！」

Mommy: "Nice! I like your pizza dough throwing."

ママ：「いいね〜！　パパのピザ生地なげ、好きだわ。」

Daddy: "Mozzarella cheese, peparoni, black oilve, green pepper and red onion on top of tomato sauce."

パパ：「モッツァレラチーズ、ペパロニ、ブラックオリーブ、ピーマン、レッドオニオンをトマトソースの上に、と。」

Mommy: "Good toppings. It's going to be the delicious pizza♪"

ママ：「いいトッピング。おいしいピザになるわね♪」

Sachi: "I know what toppings are. They are tomato, mozzarella cheese, turky, carrot and apple."

さち：「わたち、いいトッピング知ってる〜　トマト、モッツァレラチーズ、ターキー、人参、それからりんご。」

Mommy: "Those are... what can I say... interesting toppings."

ママ：「それは‥‥ なんて言うか‥‥ 興味深いトッピングだわね。」

Sachi: "While you are not looking at us, can we dig in the vegetable garden?"

Mommy: "Absolutely not."

ママ：「絶対にダメ。」

Mommy: "I brought a little treat for you two. It is kale and corn. Let's go back home."

ママ：「ふたりに、ちょっとしたおやつを持って来たよ。ケールとコーン。さあ、おうちに帰ろう。」

Fuku: "OK."

フク：「はーい。」

Cali: "I'm already in the house."

カリ：「もうおうちに入ってます。」

Sachi: "I'm going to back home and eat treats, too."

さち：「わたちもおうちに入って、おやつ食べる〜」

Mommy: "Before that, can you explain why your feet are dirty?"

ママ：「その前に、さっちゃんの足がどうして汚れてるか、説明してくれる？」

Makana: "I saw her going in to the vegetable garden."

マカナ：「さっちゃんが、野菜畑に入るのを見ました。」

Sachi: "Shhhh!!!"

さち：「しーーーっ！！！」

Mommy: "Oh, no. Your photo is out of focus, because you moved around with excitement."

ママ：「あら、やだ。さっちゃんの写真がピンぼけ。ワクワクしちゃって動き回るんだもの。」

The temperature went down a little bit. 〜気温がちょっとだけ下がった〜

Sachi: "Wooow!!! I'm coming to you!!!"

さち：「わあああお！！！　にいにい、行きましゅよ！！！」

Makana: "Ahhh!!! "

マカナ：「あああ！！！」

Makana: "Now I'm coming to you!!!"

マカナ：「今度は、ぼくが行くぞ〜！！！」

Sachi: "Go ahead. I'm coming to mommy♪"

さち：「どうじょ。わたちは、ママのところに行きましゅから♪」

Makana: "What!?"

マカナ：「え！？」

Mommy: "The temperature went down a little bit this morning, and Goldens are so energetic. Now I see the roses near the vines are blooming. I guess everyone feels comfortable with the temperature today."

ママ：「今朝は、気温がちょっと下がったから、ゴールデンズ、とっても元気だわ。ぶどうの木の近くにあるバラの花も咲いちゃって。みんな、今日の気温が心地いいのね〜」
