Feeling like we can't move 〜動けないと思う気持ち〜

Makana: "Well... I think there are too many toys around me."

マカナ：「えっと‥‥ さすがに、おもちゃ、多すぎると思います。」

Mommy: "Oh, really? Lamby is laying on you just like your puppy. It's cute♪"

ママ：「あら、そう？　ラミーちゃん、マーくんの上に横たわっていて、マーくんの子どもみたい。かわいい♪」

Makana: "I can't even see Lamby."

マカナ：「ラミーちゃん、見えないよ。」

Mommy: "OK. Then, what about Mon-mon? He is cute, isn't he?"

ママ：「そっか。じゃあ、モンモンは？　この子、かわいいでしょう？」

Makana: "He is cute, but... I can't move because Lamby is on me."

マカナ：「かわいいよ。でも‥‥ ラミーちゃんが上に乗ってるから、ぼく、動けないよ。」

Mommy: "I kind of know how that feels like."

ママ：「なんかその気持ち、知ってる気がする。」

New Year's Day 〜お正月〜

New Years Day lunch　お正月のランチ

Mommy: "Happy New Year, darling. I made chirashi zushi for lunch with fresh Ahi tuna and salmon that you purchased at the local fish store."

ママ：「パパ、新年おめでとう。パパが買ってきてくれたアヒマグロとサーモンを使って、ランチにちらし寿司を作ったよ。」

Daddy: "It looks great. I love chirachi zushi♪"

パパ：「おいしそう。ちらし寿司、大好き♪」

New Years Day dinner　お正月ディナー

Mommy: "Oh, my gosh! This crab meat is the most delicious one that I've ever had in America!"

ママ：「わあ、なんてこと！　このカニの身、今までアメリカで食べた中で、一番おいしい！」

Daddy: "I'm glad to hear. I purchased Alaskan King Crab."

パパ：「そう言ってもらえてうれしいよ。アラスカ産のキングクラブを買って来たんだ。」

Mommy: "We should finish our meal with tempura shrimp soba noodle, right? We were supposed to be eating soba noodle on New Year's Eve, but we came back home late after work. So we are eating tonight."

ママ：「やっぱり最後は、えび天ぷらのおそばを食べなきゃね。本当は、大晦日におそばを食べるものだけど、お仕事から帰ってくるのが遅かったから。今夜食べるの。」

　Daddy: "Wishing our long lives, right?"

パパ：「長寿を祈って、だよね？」

Mommy: "Yes."

ママ：「うん。」

Mommy: "I wish you both a long happy and healthy lives together."

ママ：「さっちゃんとマーくんがふたりとも、長くて幸せで、健康な犬生を送れますように。」

Sachi: "Are you sure? I feel like you are choking me."

さち：「本当に？　なんか、首を絞められてる気がしゅるんでしゅけど。」

Makana: "Zzzz...."

マカナ：「Zzzz....」

Hawaiian Luau Party 〜ハワイアンルアウパーティ〜

Mommy: "Hawaiian Luau Party at our restaurant was very fun! At the end of the performance, the dancers provided a mini hula lesson, and we all danced together. Our guests seemed to be having a great time."

ママ：「うちのレストランでのハワイアンルアウパーティ、とっても楽しかった！　パフォーマンスの最後にね、ダンサーさんたちが、ミニレッスンをしてくれて、みんなで一緒に踊ったの。お客様皆さん、楽しい時間を過ごされたようだったわ〜」

Mommy: "Hawaiian food from our kitchen was all you can eat. It looks like our guests ate a good amount."

ママ：「うちのキッチンからのハワイアンフード、食べ放題だったの。お客様、結構食べられたみたい。」

Sachi: "While I was waiting for you at home, you and daddy had a fun time at work. My brother and I can't even go for a walk since it has been raining."

さち：「わたちがおうちで待っている間、パパとママ、お仕事で楽ちくちてたんでしゅね。にいにいとわたちは、お散歩にも行けないんでしゅよ。雨だから。」

Mommy: "You are right. I hope the road gets a little dry between the rains, so that we can go for a walk."

ママ：「確かに。雨の合間に、ちょっと道が乾いてくれるといいんだけど。そしたらお散歩に行けるんだけど。」

Makana: "The sky is grey. I think the rain is coming soon."

マカナ：「お空がグレイ色。もうすぐ雨になると思うな。」

Mommy: "I think you are right. It looks like our New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are going to be raining."

ママ：「マーくんの言う通り。大晦日とお正月は、雨になりそうね。」

Sunflowers without the sun 〜太陽なしのひまわり〜

Sachi: "Did you say these are sunflowers?"

さち：「これ、ひまわりって言った？」

Mommy: "Yes. It looks like the sunflowers from the summer time dropped the seeds, and they started to grow from the ground."

ママ：「うん。どうやら夏に咲いたひまわりが種を落としたようで、地面から育ち始めたのよね。」

Sachi: "Now? We don't see the sun very often these days."

さち：「今？　最近、あんまり太陽を見ないでしゅけど。」

Makana: "Because it's winter. I don't know if they really bloom. It's too cold."

マカナ：「冬だからね。本当に咲くかどうかわからないよ。寒すぎるもの。」

Sachi: "There might be more seeds somewhere around here."

さち：「ここら辺に、まだもっと種があるかも。」

Makana: "I was sleeping."

マカナ：「ぼく、寝てた。」

マカナ：「おっと、出遅れた。」

Mommy: "Glad you finally noticed. I was home two minutes ago."

ママ：「やっと気づいてもらえて、うれしいわ。2分前には帰ってたんだけど。」

Sachi: "The rainbow candy over there."

さち：「あしょこに虹キャンディー。」

Mommy: "Sorry for bothering you thinking about the rainbow candy, but I'm going to be away from hom for a long time today."

ママ：「虹キャンディーについて考えているところを申し訳ないんだけれど、ママ、今日は長時間家を空けるから。」

Makana: "What!? Why?"

マカナ：「えっ！？　なんで？」

Mommy: "We have a private lunch party to host in the tasting room. And I'm going to work until  the end at night."

ママ：「テイスティングルームで、プライベートランチパーティのおもてなしをするの。それからママ、夜最後までお仕事するから。」

Makana: "Can't you come back home a little earlier?"

マカナ：「もうちょっと、早く帰ってきてくれない？」
