Makana: "Umm.... I hope you know that it wasn't my mess."

Mommy: "That means there is only one I can think of."

ママ：「ということは、考えられるのはひとりしかいないんだけど。」

Mommy: "Oh, that's right. You enjoyed salmon soup that I used to make."

ママ：「ああ、そうね。さっちゃん、ママが以前作ってたサーモンスープ、好きだったわよね。」

Mommy: "Ma-kun is enjoying sun-bathing."

ママ：「マーくんが、日光浴を楽しんでる。」

Mommy: "Are you having a good time, Ma-kun?"

ママ：「マーくん、楽しんでる？」

Makana: "Yes. This warm sunlight is like spring."

マカナ：「うん。この温かい日光、春みたい。」

Mommy: "I think you are right. It's spring in December."

ママ：「確かに。12月の春だね。」

Sachi: "I'm getting sleepy just being in the sun."

さち：「太陽ののところにいるだけで、眠くなってきまちた。」

Makana: "I'm alaready getting in my dream..."

マカナ：「ぼくはもう夢の中へ‥‥」

Mommy: "Oh, he fell asleep."

ママ：「あ、寝た。」

Mommy: "What a beautiful morning. The big sun, the fog over the vineyard, and a little crisp feeling on my face. It's kind of a view that we want to keep looking at, don't you think?"

ママ：「なんてきれいな朝。大きな太陽、ぶどう畑の上にかかった霧、そして、ちょっとキリッとした感じがお顔に。ずっと見ていたい感じの景色だと思わない？」

Sachi: "Not really. I have my morning duty, and this is a very important work for me."

さち：「特には。わたちは、朝の勤務がありましゅから。とっても大切なお仕事なんでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, I see. It seems.... important."

ママ：「ああ、なるほど。大切‥‥ っぽいね。」

Snow in Downtonw 〜ダウンタウンに雪〜

 

Mommy: "The city created a lot of snow piles all over in Downtown yesterday. Childeren enjoyed snowball fights, and Santa Claus came down on a snow slide. A fun event for many people."

ママ：「昨日、街のダウンタウンにたくさん雪の山を作ったのよね。子供たちが雪合戦を楽しんで、サンタクロースが雪の滑り台を降りてきたりして。たくさんの人たちにとって楽しいイベントだったわ。」

Sachi: "I could come over and enjoy digging in the snow."

さち：「わたちだって、行って雪の穴掘りを楽ちみたかった。」

Mommy: "Then, you need to get in the car first."

ママ：「じゃあ、まずは、車に乗らなきゃね。」

Sachi: "......"

さち：「‥‥」

Mommy: "When I was reading this last night, you two were out in the backyard, and very quiet. I suddenly got very suspicious, and went outside myself. Then what do you think I saw?"

ママ：「昨夜これを読んでいるときに、ふたり、うちの裏庭にいてとても静かにしてたでしょ。突然とっても疑念が湧いてきて、お外に出たのよね。で、ママは、何を見たでしょう？」

Mommy: "One cute Golden Retriever who was walking around, and the other Golden Retriever who was digging in the flower pot."

Sachi: "Both sound adorable."
