Mommy: "Wow, the vines are growing quickly after bud-breaking."

ママ：「芽吹きのあと、ぶどうのツタが一気に育ってきてる。」

Mommy: "These vines are so energetic to grow, and that reminds me of our line cooks in our restaurant."

ママ：「このぶどうのツタ、とっても元気に育ってる。なんだかうちのレストランの料理人さんたちみたいね。」

Sachi: "Mommyyyy! I'm growing, too!"

さち：「ママ〜〜〜！　わたちも育ってましゅよ〜！」

Mommy: "Oh, yeah... Well, it might be the time for you to stop physical-growing."

ママ：「あ、うん‥‥ えっと、そろそろ体の育ちは終えてもいい頃じゃないかな。」

Makana: "Not really."

マカナ：「いや、特には。」

Sachi: "We are busy right now."

さち：「わたちたち、今忙ちいでしゅから。」

Fish tacos 〜フィッシュタコス〜

Mommy: "One of our line cooks created this dish. The whitefih was breaded with panko. It's a very delicious fish taco."

ママ：「うちのラインコックさんの一人が、このお料理を作ったの。白魚はパン粉でまぶされていてね。とってもおいしいフィッシュタコスなのよ。」

Makana: "If you get rid of onions, we dogs can eat, too."

マカナ：「オニオンを取り除いてくれれば、ぼくたち犬も食べられるんだけど。」

Mommy: "Umm... that's a pretty gorgeous meal for you, isn't it?"

ママ：「あ‥‥ 結構ゴージャスなお食事だわね。」

Welcoming mommy home at night 〜夜、ママのお迎えは〜

Mommy: "Well, it's OK, but I would be happy if you make a little bit more effort to welcome me when I come back from work. For example, maybe you can sleep in the living room?"

ママ：「まあ、いいんだけどね。でも、ママがお仕事から帰ってきた時、もうちょっと努力してお迎えしてくれるとうれしいな。たとえば、リビングルームで寝るとか？」

Makana: "Well, the bedroom is darker. It's easier for me to sleep in that way."

マカナ：「だって、ベッドルームの方が暗いから。ぼく、その方が眠りやすいんだもの。」

A foggy morning 〜霧の深い朝〜

Mommy: "Oh, my. It's so foggy this morning. We might get a little wet from the drizzle on a walk."

ママ：「あらら。今朝はとっても霧が深い。お散歩では、霧雨でちょっと濡れちゃうかもね。」

Sachi: "We can still go for a walk, right? I want to pick up the wood stick that I dropped on the driveway yesterday."

さち：「でも、お散歩行けましゅよね？　わたち、昨日ドライブウェイに落とちた木の棒を取ってきたいんでしゅけど。」

Makana: "Do you need more wood sticks? Mommy probably says no need."

マカナ：「木の棒、まだいる？　ママは多分、いらないって言うよ。」

Spring-ish weather 〜春のようなお天気〜

Mommy: "These are the vines of table grapes. The baby buds on the vines are opening nicely getting the sunlight. Everyone likes sunbathing, right?"

ママ：「テーブル用ぶどうの木。太陽の光を受けて、木の赤ちゃんつぼみが、ちゃんと開いてきてる。みんな、日光浴が好きのね〜」

Mommy: "Speacking of which, why are you in the shade? I thought you like sunbathing?"

ママ：「って、なんで陰にいるの？　日光浴、好きだと思ったけど？」

Makana: "I do. But after playing in the vegetable garden with Sachi, I got warm."

マカナ：「好きだよ。でもさっちゃんと野菜畑で遊んだら、暑くなっちゃって。」

Mommy: "What!? Which garden???"

ママ：「えっ！？　どの畑？？？」
