Mommy: "I made spiral salad with fresh vegetables from our neighbor's garden. I tossed in house-made Asian dressing. Zucchini includes potassium, beta-carotene and vitamin C. It's the very healthy vegetable."

ママ：「ご近所さんからの新鮮お野菜でスパイラルサラダを作ったの。自家製アジアンドレッシングを混ぜたのよ。ズッキーニには、カリウムやベーターカロテン、ビタミンCが含まれていて、とっても健康なお野菜なのよ。」

Sachi: "You didn't share with us. ChatGPT said dogs can eat zucchini."

さち：「わたちたちと、シェアちてくれなかった。ChatGPTは、犬もズッキーニを食べられるって言ってたのに。」

Mommy: "When did you use ChatGPT?"

ママ：「いつChatGPTを使ったの？」

Makana: "Zzzz...."

マカナ：「Zzzz....」

Mommy: "That's weird. Even Sunny doesn't come for treats today. Their mother Happy used to run to the treats every day."

ママ：「変だわね。今日は、サニーちゃんさえおやつに来ない。二人のママ、ハッピーちゃんは、毎日おやつに走って来てたけど。」

Chicken A: "I come eat treats. They are delicious♪"

にわとりA：「私は、おやつを食べに来るわよ。おいしいもの♪」

Chicken B: "You should eat now, otherwise I eat them all."

にわとりB：「早く食べないと、私が全部食べちゃうわよ。」

Sachi: "In other words, you don't need to come if there are no treats."

さち：「逆に言えば、おやつがなければ、来なくていいってことでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, you are in the bedroom."

ママ：「あ、さっちゃん、ベッドルームにいたのね。」

Makana: "I want to be with mommy & daddy more than eating food. I wonder where daddy went today."

マカナ：「ぼくは、食べ物を食べるより、もっとパパやママと一緒にいたい。今日はパパ、どこに行ったのかな。」

Mommy: "I ate a big bowl of caesar salad yesterday. I don't know because of the amount of cheese, but I have a little stomach ache."

ママ：「昨日、シーザーサラダを大量に食べたのよね。そのチーズの量のせいかわからないけれど、ちょっとおなか痛い。」

Sachi: "That's because you ate a whole caesar salad by yourself. If you shared with us, you wouldn't have a stomach ache."

さち：「ひとりでシーザーサラダを全部食べるからでしゅよ。わたちたちとシェアちてくれてたら、おなか痛くならなかったのに。」

Mommy: "Aww..."

ママ：「あうう‥‥」

Makana: "Zzzz."

マカナ：「Zzzz.」

Strong vitality 〜強い生命力〜

Mommy: "Oh. Pie pan size sunflowers are bowing. And little ones that are coming out from the same stem are blooming"

ママ：「あら。パイ皿サイズのひまわりが、お辞儀してる。それに、同じ茎から出てる小さいのが、咲いてる。」

Mommy: "I don't think I've ever seen multiple sunflowers blooming from one stem before. The ones that are growing on the ground might have a strong vitality. I see a bee there, too."

ママ：「ひとつの茎から複数のひまわりが咲いてるの、今まで見たことないなあ。地面で育ってるお花は、強い生命力があるのかもね〜　ハチもいる。」

Makana: "Speaking of a strong vitality, Sachi has it, too. I thought 3-year-old Sachi is already fully-grown, but her body is still growing bigger."

マカナ：「強い生命力と言えば、さっちゃんだよね。ぼく、3歳のさっちゃんはもう成長しきったと思ってたけど、体はどんどん大きくなってるもん。」

Sachi: "Daddy says I'm cute when I'm chubby♪"

さち：「わたちがぽっちゃりちてると、パパ、かわいいって言ってくれましゅから♪」

Daddy: "Did I?"

パパ：「言ったかな？」

セリーン：「セルフィー？」

Serene: "Instead, can you scratch my head if you are close to me? I can't reach there."

セリーン：「それより、ぼくの近くにいるなら頭を掻いてくれない？　そこ、手が届かなくて。」

Mommy: "Please don't headbutt, OK? Say, cheese♪"

ママ：「頭突きはしないでよね。はい、チーズ♪」

Sachi: "I can be close you mommy, too!"

さち：「わたちだって、ママの近くにいれる！」

Mommy: "Too close! Only your head is in the photo. I should be more careful with your headbutt rather than Serene's."

ママ：「近すぎる！　写真、さっちゃんの頭しか写ってない。セリーンくんより、さっちゃんの頭突きに気をつけなきゃ、だわね。」

Competition 〜コンペティション〜

Mommy: "Daddy & I poured at Gold medal wine-tasting at California Mid State Fair yesterday. One of the judges from Central Coast Wine Competition said that our Estate Petite Sirah 2022 was almost getting Best of Red. But we are still very happy receiving Double Gold, Best of Class and 96 points on this wine this year." 

ママ：「パパとママ、昨日、カリフォルニア・ミッドステイトフェアのゴールドメダルワインテイスティングで、うちのワインを注いだのよ。セントラルコースト・ワインコンペティションの審査員の方がおっしゃるには、うちのエステート・ペティートシラー2022年は、もう少しで、ベストオブレッド（赤ワイン最高峰）だったらしいの。でも、今年このワインに、ダブルゴールド、ベストオブクラス（クラス最高峰）、そして96ポイントを頂けたことを、とってもうれしく思ってる。」

Makana: "Speaking of which, sister Ehime said she also won somthing at some kind of competition."

マカナ：「そう言えば、えひめねえも、何かのコンペティションで優勝したって言ってたな。」

Mommy: "That must be 'Cutest Pet Competition' in Las Vegas. She was such an adorable puppy then."

ママ：「きっと、ラスベガスの”キューテス・ペットコンペティション”ね。ひめたんは、本当に愛らしいパピーだったから。」

Mommy: "This is the pencil-drawing picture that one teen-aged boy drew while his parents were wine-tasting at the tasting room yesterday. Very well-done, don't you think?"

ママ：「これ、昨日ご両親がテイスティングルームでワインテイスティングしている間に、10代の男の子がえんぴつで描いた絵なの。とっても上手だと思わない？」

Sachi: "I do. And I also think that mommy could draw me like he does. Then I would already be on the wine label by now."

さち：「思う。そちて、ママがこの子みたいにわたちを描くことができてたらいいのになあ、とも思う。そちたら今ごろ、わたちはワインラベルになってたのに。」
